A grin spread across the man's lips as he stood waiting. "I think the man's lost his mind?" The bishop announced. With a flick of his wrist a gale erupted in Kalam's direction, buffeting him with a force that slashed his clothing and pushed him back. "No need for his head then." Another flick of the Bishop's wrist sent Kalam flying to the side with blast of wind. He made solid contact with a wall, cracking the stone and causing chips of it rain down as he fell to the floor. Slowly he rose back to his feet, his grin still broad on his face.
"Hum... Leoman, would you be a dear-?" The rest of the man's sentence would die on the man's lips as the entirety of the citadel would rock violently causing everyone in the room to be knocked to their feet. A distant sound of an explosion would reach your ears as the citadel rocked again, a crack forming in the ceiling above causing stones to fall down throughout the room.

Michio watched in disappointment as the horde moved out of the way of his blasts as if they had some sort of sentience. He turned and glared at the Bishiop, who he thought had to be the one controlling them, but was brought back to the situation before him as one of the lifeless cut him along his forearm with a broken sword. He glared and gave it a shove and then put up a wall again before turning and unleashing another torrent, hoping that blocking the Bishop's view would give him the opportunity he needed. The wall would probably be broken apart again, but all he needed was a couple of seconds of pseudo-surprise.

Just as he fumbled, his concentration split between the wall and the torrent, an explosion rang out and cracked the ceiling. Several rocks rained around him and he looked up to anticipate the next falling stone, but as he did so, a lifeless took the opportunity and planted the broken shaft of a stick in his lower back, piercing a couple of centimeters through the skin. Michio grunted and turned, breaking splinters off into his flesh as he knocked the pole away from him. Another rock crashed down behind him and he frowned. 'An interesting turn of events, but goddammit, I'm not looking to get crushed today!'

All of a sudden, however, there was a massive boom, Haikyo's legs gave way beneath him as he was shaken by the violent impact of something, he could only guess. Some sort of attack of explosive. He sat up from having been knocked over, seeing that almost everyone had been knocked to their feet, and he looked around as fast as he could. What was going on? Could he still make it?

A wall of dust and debris rose from the impact and sprayed through out the room, knocking those who were trying to rise back up back to the ground.
Standing at the throne, the Bishop glared at Kalam with an unmasked fury. "YOU!" He roared before turning to flee from the trial room.
Kalam grunted as he rose back to his feet, wobbling for balance as the citadel shook again from another impact. "Oh no you don't..." He growled, taking a step forward to chase after the Bishop but was cut off from the imposing form of Leoman. "Move." He rumbled. However before he could move to unsheathe his daggers, Leoman charges to tackle the equally large man. Grappling at each other, the two struggle for a moment before another explosion erupts, this one causing the ground beneath them to crack and fall away towards the darkness of the pit...

Michio and Haikyo will find that several of the Lifeless were crushed by the fallen ceiling. However the remainder continue to approach them with weapons ready to slay them. All the while debris continues to fall, threatening to crush all who are still inside the trial room.

Either way, as he began to dash toward the exit, he was immediately halted by a burning pain in the back of his leg. He twisted around to see what it was, as his body lurched forward and he fell to his face. A sword was sticking out of the back of his leg, and he saw the lifeless who had thrown it, eyeing up its work, though it showed no pleasure on its dead face. Haikyo bit his lip, trying to ignore the pain as he scrambled to his feet. Two more came at him, and he tried to dodge out of the way, hopping from side to side. He was able to avoid one of the blows, but the second sent a blade carving across his ribs, opening the flesh there as well, and Haikyo grunted out in pain--not giving them the satisfaction of his screams. He stood there, frantically looking around at the collapsing building...he had to escape. There was still time.

Michio watched in horror as Kalam and Leoman fell into a pit after the floor beneath them crumbled but was relieved that Leoman was no longer standing in his way. He was also pleased that, despite being right under the collapsing ceiling, he had managed to avoid being crushed under the debris, instead leaving that fate to most of the lifeless in the room. Michio saw Haikyo make a break after the Bishop but get stopped by a lifeless who had impaled him in the leg, and he grimaced. 'Why do I have to help him?' he asked himself as he took off towards the man and his lifeless assaulter, a whip of blood flying out from his fingers as he lashed out at the lifeless that gave chase. He had some distance to make, but with the significantly lower number of enemies, maybe he could do it. (Changing direction and heading to the secret passage)

Michio ran forward and a lifeless stepped into his way. "I DON'T ******** THINK SO!" he yelled, and slashed with the whip, cleaving a lifeless' head clean off of it's shoulders and into the small crowd. "Haikyo! Get your a** up!" he called, dodging the horizontal swing of another lifeless in his way.

Michio made it nearly halfway to the Yomi who was prone on the stone floor and stopped short of another lifeless' blade swinging downwards in front of him. "Jeez! How many of you are left?!"

He sighed as he kicked off the floor, shooting toward the exit while the Lifeless came in toward him. His fist launched out in a series of blows--crushing the lifeless' sternum before slamming a fist down in to the knee to cripple the thing and the last blow coming across the side of its face to finish it right there. When the body hit the floor, Haikyo was already moving through the gap that the fallen Lifeless had made. He sprinted toward the exit--though this time, he was not heading toward the secret tunnel any longer. He was further than half way there from where he had started, but as the building was falling to pieces around him, and the Bishop was nowhere to be seen, he decided, hell, it was time to just cut his ties to this place and leave. He just needed to get clear of this building, and see if someone could point him in the direction of that damned Bishop.

Now that Haikyo was free, it was time for Michio to make a decision: Head for the hole that Kalam jumped into and see if he or Leoman survived and risk dying to Leoman's sword OR head after the Bishop and shove blood down his throat until it leaked out of the man's nose. Michio decided to make the Bishop choke on his blood and ran towards the front doors, where most of the fighting could be heard coming from. More lifeless moved to step in front of him and he created a blood whip from each hand, lashing out to clear a path for himself. But as though they were expecting it, each of the lifeless in front of him dodged and as he tried to pass by, they shoved him with an intense force, throwing the Ketsueki on his a**.
