 Shizuka tottered as they neared the tree and snatched his pants. "Got 'em!" he called. He was soon lowered to the ground and attempting to put on his pants, as much as his uneven balance would allow.
Finally cinching his pants around his waist, he finished straightening his hair and tied it, then threw it behind his back between his wings. "So, are you ready to come with me or do you want to eat first? My mother gave me some money so if you want hot tea... or something a little more stable...?"
Shi had no doubt that his mother had left him at the Bath House. He must have forgotten him again. It happened all the time, especially when his mother was stressed, then relaxed. He tended to forget rather unimportant articles... such as his final son. Shi offered Enju the towel to do with what he needed, not knowing whether to hang it or lay it out or whatnot. (RP continued in Xang Zou River or where ever you suggest eating after you reply?)

 Enju grinned and placed his hands on his hips turning side to side. "I can do whatever, whenever you want," he said, his tone making the comment a bit racy but was countered by a sweet smile.
He was excited to go see another Gehaka's work place. Usually he was showing people around his garden so a change of scereny was very welcome to him. Enju grabbed the towel and rubbed at his hair roughly, casting it into a special bin made out of tightly wrapped dried leaves. "So is boat carving fun, it sounds like a lot of work," he asked, wondering about the whole boat making process.

Shizuka looked a bit shocked at Enju's tone and couldn't help but look at the Gehaka's hips as he swayed towards him. He gulped, blushed and lowered his eyes. Squeaking out a quiet, "Okay..."
"Boat carving can be tough, but it's a calming, soothing, soulful exercise... good for the mind and creativity... It doesn't help much when I'm a hemopheliac and I cut myself, but otherwise I don't have too many problems. Come on... I'll explain to you on the way..." he said, smiling. He started out of the Bath House toward Main Street, which would lead to the river. (Will post at Xang Zou now. Go ahead and check there.)

 Hikaru nodded. He hadn't really taken much leisure time in his life to get out and explore the rest of the town. He always worried about getting dirty or coming home too late and his mother fussing at him. He wondered about the garden.
"Aya... if you wish, when we're finished here, we'll go walk in the gardens... That is... if you will permit me to join you." Hikaru looked back down into his cup, which was becoming empty again. He lifted the tea gracefully and poured himself another cup. He had never really fancied tea, but it seemed he was almost gulping it down in this case.
Hikaru accidently dipped his long white hair into his cup while he was sitting there and didn't notice. It looked like he was fishing with his hair in a cup with no fish. He sat daydreaming until he moved his cup and his wet and warm hair hit his chest. He jumped with a start from not expecting the warm sensation, then took a napkin and tried to dry the wet from his hair. His look was oddly sheepish and hefought the urge to go home again.
((OOC: Sorry about not posting, I've been wrapped up in school work lately. But I should be on more often now...))

((Heh... that's okie. Now's my turn to apologize for not posting in fact... lol... @-@))
"Hmm... have you been to one of the public gardens before Hikaru?"
The red-haired Haka asked Hikaru with an inquisitive quirk of his eyebrow before taking another sip from his cup. A walk in the garden. That sounded like a perfect activity once they've finished the pot of tea that he had ordered earlier. Which should be fairly soon given the rate that all three of them were going.
It had been nearly half a year since Aya had taken a walk through the garden downstairs in fact. Today would definitely be a good time for him to pay another visit. He couldn't help but wonder briefly if anything had changed since then though. Well, in any case, he was probably going to find out sooner or later.

Hikaru shook his head and looked down into his cup. "My mother didn't take me out much, because she saw me as an embarassment to the family, with my weirdness about being clean... she just didn't want me to run around and get dirty, then freak out. So, I can't say I've been to any sort of garden, besides our small Zen Garden at home..."
He set down his cup, full and satisfied with the tea. He noticed his hair was a little dirty frm where he had dipped it into his tea. He picked up a napkin and gently wiped the tea from his hair, hoping it hadn't stained it. He tried to look unmussed.

Aya continued sipping his tea as he listened attentively to Hikaru's account, the young fair Haka not once showing any sign of reacting adversely to what the winged male was relating to him.
Embarassment? Was it wrong to be obsessed with wanting to be clean? The redhead found himself wondering inwardly as violet orbs focused themselves on Hikaru who was currently gently wiping some tea from his hair with a napkin.
"I see. What about you? Do you see yourself as an embarassment then..?"
The Fujimiya clan Haka posed, a kindly smile now on his face as he tilted his head to the side some at the same time.

Hikaru was stricken by Aya's question. "Well... I don't know... I can't be too horribly embarrassing or obnoxious, I mean... I met a nice Haka, didn't I?" He continued to look down into his cup, trying not to look into the Haka's enchanting violet eyes.
"I suppose I feel like a bit of an embarrassment, to my family at least... they fear that I'll never find a Haka to take me in... but I really want to, even if I am high maintenence. At least you'll never have to worry about your house being clean... it'll always be that way." He ddidn't know why he used the expression "you" with this sentence. Maybe he thought that he was becoming closer to the Haka by spending this time with him. He set down his cup and stood up, his well worked body tensing slightly as he stood, showing just how lean he was.

Had the violet-eyed Haka noticed Hikaru's unintended slip of the tongue with the pronoun that he had used, he certainly wasn't giving any indication that that was the case as he continued sipping his tea slowly in order to savour its aroma and flavour at his own leisure.
"Hmm... what do you mean by high maintenance Hikaru?"
Aya inquired next with a slight quirk of his eyebrow. Pools of violet lifting to meet Hikaru's own eyes briefly before returning to focus upon the amber liquid within his cup yet again.

Shizuka beamed with pride at his second favorite place in the world, the first being his workshop. He looked at Shinku and smiled, "I'm sure they've had worse instances and states of being from which people have wandered here... I don't think it should be a problem. I know Enju, the son of the owner, and he seems quite congenial..."
Starting toward the door, still supporting Shinku's weight on is arm, he said, "Come on, let's get you out of those nasty robes and into a warm spring and I'll find you something to wear... I've got the perfect idea."
Shi lead Shinku into the Spa and motioned towards a changing room. "That is the Hakas changing room, if you'd like to shower down a bit and put on a robe before climbing into the baths. I don't want to intrude... I can show you where the baths are after you finish changing..."
Shi was eager to get back to the market to grab the box of clothes he had so carelessly left in the square and hoped Shinku would understand if he left once he was comfortable. He awaited Shinku's reply.

 Shinku followed Shizuka into the Spa careful not to place to much weight on his ankle. His fingers gripped Shizuka arm firmly in slight uneased. His head was starting to ache worse, making him wonder how bad the wound was beneath the mud.
He looked at the changing room and nodded. "I'll be find by myself and I am quite intrested in what this perfect idea is." He removed his hand from the Gehaka arm, testing his step before walking in slow dainty steps to the changing room. "I wish to shower first before going to the baths. Will you be back soon?" He questioned.

Shizuka noticed suddenly a very dazed look in Shinku's eyes and hoped that the beautiful green-eyed Haka would be okay by himself for just a bit. He had heard that concussions could be deadly and hoped he wouldn't be the cause of the demise of such a wonderous being... He ached to know that his new friend was going to be okay, but trusted that Shinku would let him know if he was in too much pain.
Nodding seriously, a great deal of concern showing on his face, Shi obliged Shinku's idea of a shower. "I'll be back as fast as my feet can carry me..." he said, his grey eyes glowing softly with determination. "Are you sure you'll be okay in there? I just want to know you'll be safe while I'm away..."
Shi was showing much more bravery than usual. He was actually determined to be to the square and back within the next two minutes to assure that Shinku was just fine. (Regardless of his own health and who he might bump into on the way.) Why Shi was so protective suddenly, he didn't know; and toward an almost complete stranger no less!

Shinku let a small trickle of laughter escape his lips. His jade eyes brighten at then warm concern in the gehaka voice and face. "I have had worse. My brother and I use to play when we where little." He blinked slightly as a dull roar started in his ears. Concealing the pain, he smiled charmling even as he held the wall for support till the spell lessen.
"If you see my brother reassure him I'm alright. He's a rather large Gehaka with a henna tattoo of a sunburst over his shoulder. It's rather hard to miss," he said dryly. Something warm trickle down his cheek hidden by hair. "Go please and come back soon."

Shi convinced himself that he could be back before anything could possibly happen to Shinku and nodded, "I'll be right back, I promise. If I see your brother I'll pass along the message..."
Shi sprinted out of the Magoi Spa and Inn and down the path that lead to main street. He hurried as fast as his legs could carry him, hitting his feet several times on sharp stones, shrugging the pain off and continuing. There was no sign of the Haka's brother as Shi closed in on the box of clothes that he'd left in the square. It was still in the same position it had been in and he checked over its contents quickly to assure that none had been stolen while he was seeing to the injured Haka.
Everything seemed to be in order. There were still a few lengths of material with a kimono set underneath. There were also some sandals with matching material under the kimono. Yes, these would do perfectly. Shi snatched the box up in his arms and carefully head back to the Magoi spa and inn. Entering, he wasted no time looking for Shinku in the bath and went straight to the showers. He had made it within the two minutes and hoped nothing had befallen the auburn-haired beauty.
Setting the box down just outside the showers, Shi entered the area and called, "Shinku! Shinku answer me! Are you okay?" Every muscle was tense, every hair stood on edge as he awaited a reply. Then his eyes dropped to the floor and saw a faint red stain. Was it blood? If possible, his pulse quickened even more and he called out, "Shinku?!"
