A suitable amount of seating was still available for their family by the time they arrived, but Mimsy opted to remain standing instead, lingering just along the edges of the benches. As a general rule (which Dr. H once validated, whether intentional or not), she tended to avoid listening too closely to the specific briefings or directions from those in other divisions; America was an exception to this rule, just as she was to many of her others. Though her appearance bore a striking likeness to a Wednesday Addams who had returned to the summer camp of her youth, her disposition didn't match. Above the white-collared black dress she wore a crooked, truly contented smile, unable to contain herself among the enthusiasm of both Robert and Peter. Robert's excitement was always infectious, but it had been exceptionally so this time: at her first mention of the message about camp, he'd been so incredibly eager that she almost believed that she couldn't have stopped him to calm him if she wanted to. Of course, she hadn't wanted to. She had trailed behind him with bursts of giggles as they prepared, Peter squealing and running between them like a pinball all the while. Though that had all been wonderful on its own, learning that this location was safe enough to bring Peter along meant that this was unexplored terrain for them - they were going as a family, going together, and those were truly the most ideal circumstances. An eager shiver carried goosebumps across her skin as America continued to reiterate the necessity of their identity as reapers, her mind wildly hopping from theory to theory. The important part was that they were being encouraged to pretend this at all, whatever the reason. "We have a good little scareling," she whispered to Robert, leaning to press herself even closer to him. To be the child of two reapers, Peter did look slightly less human than the two of them, namely due to the outfit he wore. It was made to resemble a bear cub, ears and tail and all.

Shu didn't really think she talked something excited enough for the hunter like an Espurr, but she inferred that he was new that he didn't know the existence of other bases. So she nodded. "Yup, I can speak and write in three languages, Chinese, English and Japanese." She said that as a matter of fact. "MMO?" The petite Death tilted her head. "Hmm, I wasn't playing on game's China server but the Taiwan server. You've to be wealthy enough to play on China server, their practice is 'everything needs money'. Even the clothes you wear would have an expiry date, let's say, fifty days." She had a feeling that they were not on the same track and somehow puzzled by words he used. Anyway, the petite Asian was the cheerful type that well-adapted to any conversations. Therefore, she simply translated his odd words into something she understood. It was always better for trainees to know more and be prepared. Then it was an invitation, she beamed brightly. "Sure." Username? Well, he must mean codename in disguise as reaper. She had one in the wonderland dream so that should work. "Waiting2Bloom, You can call me B.B in short. I think I told you I'm at intermediate level? Though I'm about to level up." More strange question followed, it took her a few seconds to decide what to answer. "I have a big hammer.....and I don't have a guild yet, you wanna start one?" Probably guild is like some small interest groups, since in games, it's a group that does things together, Shu thought. "Fabric?" She repeated in confusion. "What do you need that for?" She didn't bring any extra clothes, if he felt cold, maybe they can ask the stationed hunters if they had some.

"Oh, paladin then, like me!" Clearly, that was the only other 'big hammer' type of user, even though technically Justin's weapon was nothing of the WoW Paladin sort. Every molecule of him practically vibrated in excitement as he exchanged information with Shu. A guild! He hadn't had one since forever! And a guild was a great example of showing how great a GM he was going to be. "Yeah, I can recruit for a guild, you got any name ideas? You could localize for me and and and we'll recruit some other players and maybe even do raids and get better gear and it'll be so cool."
If Justin was an anime, his eyes would be practically sparkling off his face. "I'm Justin by the way, the username wasn't taken so it's just Justin nice to meet you BB!" Instead of shaking hands he just did his best /wave emote several times. "Oh, the cloth is for an upcoming quest, I can try and get doubles so we can craft armour for the both of us. What's your gearscore right now?"

Paladin? If she was right, it's a type of melee but she was more into magic stuff since she read Harry Potter, Ojamajo Doremi, Little Witch Academy and Puella Magi Madoka Magica, to name a few. Never mind, the hunter looked happy and she really didn't have a magical wand. "Hmm huh." She thus nodded again. A cheerful and passionate person like that would be a good leading figure, Shu guessed. "You can be the guild master, yes. As for naming.....We need an attractive cool name that can represents what we want and love. Let's list something we like and brainstorm together." The petite Asian suggested and soon began to count fingers for stuffs she like, "Alpacasso, desserts, Kemonomimi, bunnies, magical worlds.....how about you?" A few should be fine, or the list will be an endless one, she just liked so many things. "Ah, do we also need a guild emblem or symbol too?" The mentioning of raid caused another small brain pause, which she recalled the raid she had in game and related it to external missions. That was why she commented, "Yup, it would be fun and safer." Up to that point, Shu perceived Justin as a fun person and she was always up for more friends. She envisioned the wave action and imitated it, which was more Asian style. North America games mean a high ping and awful lag problem to her, plus she was more into game with cute character designs and graphics. Gearscore?! She didn't pick up blacksmith in game before since it was a must. Her eyes widened, looked perplexed for a bit and answered, "Honestly, Justin, I'm pretty clumsy and so I haven't crafted an armor.....?" Her handwork was well-known hopeless.

Oliver nodded to America. If there was research going on, he could easily pass as an undergrad student out collecting info for a professor or something. That was pretty much his life as an Intermediate on the island anyway. The handful of candy he had pulled out was simply divided into his friends' hands, instead of getting one they would each find themselves with several. Perhaps a bit too many for anyone who didn't habitually carry junk food in their pockets, but nobody could accuse Oliver of hoarding the sweets all for himself. There were many, many more where those came from. He smiled. "Um, Aro, don't you think Lydia might be here for uh... rare sightings, rather than training?" It was only a guess, but he was fairly certain he knew what sort of experience the small hunter was after.

Fortunately for Lydia - and for Arorangi - her death grip on his arm and waist had hardly affected him at all, mostly due to his sheer size and bulk. It was a lot easier, however, for her to be at his side than wrapped around his back, and Arorangi happily pulled her close against him, a hand rubbing affectionately at Lydia's shoulder before he let it settle around her waist.
His other arm remained resolutely around Oliver's shoulders, in spite of the wriggling. His two favorite people.
Oliver's question made him laugh, a booming sound that probably carried and that he didn't mind that it did. "You know her well," said Arorangi with a wide grin, looking down at Lydia. "What sort of rare sightings are you hoping to see here, aroha? Anything in mind?"Chance couldn't help the grin that spread across his face.
"Sometimes it seems the less daunting something is, the more dangerous it actually will be," he said mildly, because, well...it was perfectly - and unfortunately - true. He reached up and tugged on a curly black lock of hair absentmindedly, head tilted slightly to watch the proceedings, long legs extended out in front of him and crossed at the ankles.
"Maybe we'll be lucky and it really will be just a normal mission."

Fighting with his lighter, he tossed the Bic back into his pocket and decided to just go to the giant torch of a bonfire instead. Looking around, he couldn't see anyone who was vaping or taking the opportunity outside to light up.
Moving over to the fire, he took a stick and lit the end up and then lit his own cigarette before tossing the stick back into the blaze. Breathing deep, he turned around and regarded the campers. Some of them clearly looked like 80's versions of camp counselors while others just looked like kids hanging out. What was he expected to do here again? One of the workers here had just told him to get here and then shoved him through a oval hole that Stargated him to this place.

Tedan half-stumbled through the portal, yawning. He'd overslept, okay? It wasn't like this camp thing was a super time sensitive mission... not if it was taking the entire month. Yea yea, there was bonus pay to be earned but sleep was totally important too. Plus, he'd sort of automatically put his normal gear on first - then remembered something at the last minute about civilian clothes ... and had to dig up something appropriate. Then he dug Ardavan's keychain out of a pile of junk food wrappers and he was finally ready to head out. Looking around, the Sun hunter frowned slightly. This place looked like someone's bad horror movie sketch of a summer camp, added to a badly-written LARP. No, he didn't play in those - wasn't that much of a nerd. But he had heard of them. Right now, he spotted some dude in what looked like homemade armor and a few others with their weapons actually summoned. Nope, not getting involved. Instead, he wandered over to listen to the orientation, nodding slightly with the important points. They were "Reapers" okay, got it. Blue arrows led to their base, orange to the Halloween one, okay. Though why in the world they would work together he wasn't sure - he wasn't going to blow their cover by randomly attacking someone. He could keep his cool. Totally. A soft snort from his mostly-dozing weapon had him flicking the keychain lightly as he wandered toward the woods - intending to explore a little.

Apart from Rep and Harrison, Joy only vaguely recognized faces from the base, and most of them had already settled into groups. She hoped to spot Jason or Roland, or heck, even Clyde but she failed to do so. When it was starting to look like another mission of her in the fringes, she decided Tangina this! and got off her a** to be the sporty-spice she always believed she could be.
Unfortunately the weather reminded her that she had yet to acclimate to anything non-tropical in nature and she was soon retreating towards the fire. Even with a sweater on and thermal underwear beneath pants, the trainee was still shivering.
"Y-yo," Joy greeted the guy who'd tossed a stick into the fire. "M-mind if I get toasted?" she asked.MoonKitsune I'm so sorry, have a clueless Moonie needing warmth

Huni Pi He is happy for the company. Breathing in, he let out a plume of smoke and smiled at her. "Sure. You carrying?" He could go for a little relief right now and was all for mooching off someone else.

Joy blinked in confusion. Was he asking about runic gear? "Ha? Carrying what?" she asked as she held her hands towards the fire for warmth.

Staring back, he smiled. "Wrong toasted." He should have known.
"Ya new like just got your rock? I'm Kai by the way" He offered a hand to shake. Unlike her, he was warm enough in a open black hoodie and white shirt. For the most part he was always set on a constant heat of warm.

Something must have been lost in translation but Joy shrugged it off as no big deal. Smiling, she shook his hand, as much out of friendliness and as an excuse to leech off someone's body warmth.
"Rock?" she echoed, her mind going to stories she heard of magical rocks granting powers to heroes and heroines, "What y'mean tablet? Nah, been awake for like, shet a year?" Has it really been that long? It might have been longer. "Nice to meet you, Kai. I'm Ligaya but most call me Joy."
And she had yet to pull her hand away from his.

"Oh dang then. Guess you're like a counselor here then. I just got here." He informed her, deciding that age apparently meant nothing at camp because he wasn't sure if the woman was older or younger than him but didn't look past her twenties at the very least. "They should really give you guys staff t-shirts." That way he could pick them out.
The handshake kept going and he decided not to let it stop until she did, looking her over. "You working to help out all l the new people then? Where you work at?"
