Like the others, she had never heard of a Lycanoid, tilting her head slightly to the side as Riyak fell into an angry apology that didn't really feel like an apology. She certainly couldn't argue about his comment of having bad people skills, though she found herself feeling sympathy for the boy as he stated he was only 10 years old. He really was that, a boy, and if it was true then she couldn't expect a boy of ten years to handle such a situation as trying to rescue a hostage with grace. Yet that made the power he seemed to posses even more frightening.
It had certainly seemed like things were within seconds of coming to blows with Tarak even going so far as to begin to draw his weapon. However relief came as all three of the males seemed to calm down whether by her mere presents or by the pheromones having their intended affect. Perhaps some combination there of. Leorio burst out laughing, Tarak put the sword away and Riyak started to show them the way towards the town.
“Silvia. Silvia Dreamweaver.” She introduced herself with a small chuckle and a smile at Leorio's comments. It seemed in this case the words were especially true. “I was headed there myself as it happens and would be happy to travel with three warriors. I'm afraid I don't have much skill in fighting myself.” She explained, though it might have seemed odd to them given the sword and bow she carried with her. If they were attacked she knew she'd be next to useless, except maybe to keep an eye on Leorio's prisoner. She couldn't choose who her pheromones worked on as it was simply everyone who happened to smell them including her allies. “Perhaps we could share a meal once we arrive.” She suggested shortly after. Leorio seemed in need a food, and nothing made friends like a shared meal. Perhaps it would even make Tarak more talkative.

Leo was glad this mess had finally cleared up, Silva seemed to bring a form of calm with her as everyone in there own way eased at her presence. It was strange to hear someone without skills in fighting had made it this far unscathed, "She's pretty good at hiding, I certainly couldn't say how long shes been nearby." Leo looked down at Riyak as he told them his age, "Ten huh? That explains a lot, perhaps I should apologise for riling him up." As Riyak went on Leo wanted to wrap his arms around him and apologise for what life had handed the poor boy, but stopped himself knowing this wouldn't change what had been for the boy. "Nothings wrong with wanting to do the right thing. Just be prepared to do the wrong thing when things don't line up your way.. Oh yeh, do try and work on your people skills. I tend to find people don't respond to intimidation the way you think they might." The last part he said with a smile, hoping Riyak would take it just as it was meant, simple advice. As Riyak started moving Silvia suggested the group share a meal on their arrival, "That sounds like an excellent idea Silvia, food makes friends is what I always say."
Trying intimidation. The boy had started with intimidation and had only escalated it from there. Killing people affected his people skills? Well, Tarak must be some sort of anomaly then because that's what he did for a living. Ah, there it was. He truly was just a child. What sort of ten year old approached random people, older than him likely all of the time, and make demands? "And I believe Leorio answered that question without your need to intimidate anyone." Sure he was calmer, no longer feeling the need to separate the child's head from his shoulders, but it did not endear the child to him. Honestly being 'intimidated' like that brought out a certain violent response in him. There was no blame for wanting to 'help', but Tarak would not stand for being ridiculed. Never again. It seemed as though there was no getting around the boy joining the odd group until they reached town, so he dropped it at that.
Watching he let Leorio and the boy go first, no longer having the desire to tag along to closely. His gaze did flicker to Silvia as she introduced herself and wasn't sure if he should respond in kind of keep to himself. Instead he gave a sort of polite incline of his head to her to acknowledge her introduction at least. Chimeras were usually more kind and didn't have a problem with him, but all things considered perhaps she wasn't of the mindset to want to hear from him. So he fell in behind them all, stewing in his own thoughts and hoping town truly wasn't that far. There was a need to put distance between himself and the human child. Patience and understanding. Asteron had told him that once and he could even hear the amusement in the words. It was most assuredly something his mentor and now friend would have handled with the ease and grace he always exuded. The man was able to diffuse situations with such precision that the half-orc always envied. The monastery had thrived because of that, such a mix of peoples that one would truly believe prejudice didn't exist.
Except that Tarak knew it did, and had felt its barbed sting from the second he had left his beloved home. Often he wondered if he should go back. Hang up his sword and rid himself of the leather armor and take up again as his mentor's student. It was a tempting thought. The traveling he had done had given him a bitterness and anger that he would rather be done with. But to go back would be to admit defeat, to let bigots and bias continue to thrive. This child would, in fact, benefit from going to the monastery to deal with his so-called 'uncontrolled rage'. Asteron had always been so good with those who dealt out anger and used intimidation to achieve their goals. And certainly a ten year old boy who resorted to violence and intimidation could use a good deal of Asteron's teachings to better himself. Now the question was could he reign in his anger at the boy to try and help him? And, in turn, would the brat even listen?
The talk had turned to food and it was an idle wonder if he himself would stick around for that. Let them become friends if they wished, his purpose in the city was to find an employer. This entire thing had gone much further than he had expected too. Stopping to speak with Leorio had been more of a confirmation that he was going the right direction than anything. The interruption by the 'lycanoid' child had been an unforeseen bump in that road. Somehow stopping for people always ended up badly for him. The little meow at his shoulder made him unconsciously reach up to scratch and rub at the tiny head. Well at least he had one stalwart companion. Duly comforted the kitten relaxed again, taking up her perch half on his bag and half on his shoulder. Perhaps one day he would become tired of this constant struggle and return to his home. That day wasn't today, and he hoped that it wouldn't be anytime soon.

Riyak Silver
Monsters don't sleep under the bed... They sleep inside your head
Riyak looked at the spider woman as she introduced herself as Silvia, before going on to say that she was happy to travel with three warriors as she wasn't too good at fighting herself "Thats a good thing, I'd love to be weak, not fighting means situations like what just happened don't occur too often" Riyak said, before his eyes grew wide, he felt something stirring within himself, he knew this feeling too well, something bad was coming, his power was surging, Riyak's eye's turned scarlet as another chain binding his power snapped, Riyak felt his heart pounding, it felt like it was going to beat its way out of his chest, like he was going to burst, Riyak didn't break No, I just stopped myself from going berserk I can't lose it now while everything is calm Riyak thought to himself as he felt his power surge through his body. Riyak felt like he was going to lose it like he was going to go berserk, yet at the last moment he focused that new power flowing through his body to his fist. "NOT NOW" Riyak said before slamming his fist to the ground the power he expelled was much greater than anything he showed those behind him, the ground beneath him crumbled and was crushed down into a massive crater Riyak stood at the bottom of it, and while the initial release of power felt like it would work, the sudden release of power doubled back on him, and it felt like he hit a wall. Riyak could feel it, another chain on his power was being strained being pushed to its limits as it tried to hold back Riyak's well of power, yet it couldn't the fifth chain binding Riyak's power broke. A new wave of power hit Riyak, he wasn't even accustomed to the first broken chain but to have a second break so soon after the first, that had never happened before and the new power flowing through him was brutal, it was like he was trying to hold back a flood with a sheet of paper, yet somehow Riyak hadn't blacked out, like something else was holding him at bay keeping him calm under these extreme circumstances, little did he know it was Silvia's pheromones that were acting as a last straw to Riyak falling to complete madness. Yet the calming effect could only go so far. Riyak needed to vent again, he couldn't just focus his power to one point or he'd risk another chain, he had to just release his power for just a moment. Riyal silently prayed that those with him had decided to step back or else they might be caught up in what was to come next. A red glow surrounded Riyak and the ground around them began to tremble like an earthquake was happening. Then it happened, Riyak let out a pained scream which was followed a massive pillar of red energy began to expel from Riyak's body all of his power that he could access flowed upwards in a massive red pillar that seemed to split the horizon in two. The ground around Riyak seemed like it would crumble beneath the power Riyak was putting out then everything went silent as the energy stopped flowing from Riyak's body, the boy stood there panting, but he was no longer being overcome by his new energy, while he had to let out major amounts of power he kept his sanity throughout it all despite the odds.
Riyak stood there for a moment breathing deeply before he ran out of the crater to find everyone, he wanted to make sure everyone was okay, thankfully as he climbed out he saw all three of them relatively unharmed. In an instant Riyak fell to his knee's and brought his head down "I'm so sorry, I-I Didn't want to do that, I was loosing control I wasn't trying to hurt anyone" Riyak said as he knelt down before the three others. A few tears escaped Riyak's eyes as he knelt there, he was terrified, he could feel it accurately now, half of his power was back, it would only be a matter of time before the other half would break free. Even with just half of his real power it was too much, it was overwhelming he could barely take it. After a few minutes of kneeling before everyone Riyak slowly got up, he owed an explanation of what just happened so everyone knew what he was, what being with him meant. As he slowly got up his body visibly shook, he didn't want to break down in fear before these people, but with the monster inside of him growing Riyak just wanted to curl up in a ball and hide somewhere far away"Like I said before... I'm a Lycanoid, my kind are monsters with stupid amounts of power... mine was sealed a little while ago" Riyak said as his a dark red aura surrounded him, though this time it wasn't in preparation to launch an attack this time it showed the chains binding him. Two chains wrapped around his neck arms and legs, totaling ten chains yet five chains were broken five just limply hung rather than holding Riyak to some invisible force. "Ten chains bind my power, I was supposed to be able to just live normally but five chains are gone now, I'm afraid the others will break sometime soon. If my full power returns... I'll become a monster again"Riyak couldn't hold himself together, he was shaking like a leaf, fearing what was to come, and soon his legs seem to just give out and he fell to his knees, just barely holding himself from mentally breaking "I can't do it, I can't. I've told myself I can deal with it, I can control it, or can at least live with it, but I can't, there's a monster within me and its going to claw its way out" Riyak said as he sat there, rather pathetic for what he had just done, but he was at the point of breaking, he wasn't going to loose control or go berserk he just couldn't mentally take his power anymore "If you guys want to leave me, I understand, a monster like me shouldn't be near anyone. Just head that way, you'll find the town in no time" Riyak said as he pointed at the town before collapsing on his side and just laying on the ground quivering in fear of himself, unable to move anymore

“Often being weak simply means you are a victim to the whims of the strong. You do as those stronger than you wish, unable to protect family and home, or you perish. You don’t fight, you simply lose. Besides, strength has nothing to do with how many fights you get in. The only thing that determines that is how many fights you choose to engage in.” She informed the boy in a calm and patient manner. She had met many who would have taken great offence to Riyak’s words. Even herself, who could not defend what was hers, and could only rely on her skills to escape unharmed, leaving whatever worldly possessions behind. Yet it seemed he was largely ignorant to the ways of the world, and how most would perceive such a statement so she sought to inform rather than get angry. Ironic since the ignorant statement came on the heels of Leorio telling the boy to work on his people skills. Silvia smiled; glad at least one had accepted her invitation for food. She had been about to continue the conversation in a lighter fashion by asking why each of them were headed to the city and perhaps explain about her blacksmithing when suddenly her danger intuition had gone off the rails, screaming at her to get far away from Riyak.
Surprise was the primary emotion. She had thought her pheromones had done their job in calming everyone and had expected a rather uneventful walk to the city. How they had gone from idle chatter to Riyak punching a crater in the ground, Silvia hadn’t a clue. She could only be thankful for the abilities that had allowed her to live this long, namely a pre-emptive warning and enhanced agility. “Run.” Was the only word uttered to Leorio as she grabbed her fellow chimeras arm in a bid to get him moving. There really wasn’t time to explain so she hoped he would either listen or that his own animal instincts were telling him the same thing. She made it as far back as Tarak before the boy yelled and proceeded to punch a crater in the ground. The destructive force stopped just before it reached them, something the little spider was grateful for as she would have certainly been injured if she had been caught in it. And yet things weren't over. Keep running her survival instincts told her, and keep running she did. Behind her the boy let out a painful sounding scream and a bright red light seemed to consume everything. Especially bad for Silvia since red light totally screwed with a spiders depth perception. Luckily in this barren wasteland there wasn't much need of it presently.
Finally it was all over. Silvia found herself standing at the edge of destruction, her instincts seeming to indicate the danger was over, at least for now. Shortly after the boy came running towards her. She found herself somewhat at a loss for words as he claimed he wasn't trying to hurt anyone, yet the destruction was all around. She could have easily been dead. “It seems you need a refund on that spell.” She commented dryly after a moment. Then she glanced to the other two to see what they thought. Certainly someone who lost control so easily and seemingly for no reason shouldn't head to a city full of people, yet it seemed cruel to leave such an ignorant boy out here on his own.

Just as as quickly as things began to look like they were heading in the right direction they began to turn sour. Silva's instincts seemed quicker than his own, if it weren't for her Leo would've taken far more damage than he did. As she pulled on his arm focing him to run away from Riyak he realised what was about to happen. The explosion of power was incredible, for a 10 yer old to have this power only went to show just what Lycanoids could do. Unfortunately for Leo, He wasn't able to get away fast enough, having his left leg caught in the blast, "s**t!" Dropping to one side he had a look at his leg, 'Yep, busted.' If he hadn't been so malnourished his body would've been able to take the blast, but alas he was starving. Luckily he managed to keep the thief from sustaining any damage, apart from being thrown in-front of himself. For a brief moment everyone was silent, then Riyak ran out of the crater.
He confessed to losing control and not wanting to hurt anyone, Leo believed him, but his actions beforehand weren't aiding his cause. "Well.. No one's dead at least." Leo said with a slight chuckle, attempting to hide the pain he was in. Turning to the thief he barked an order "Help me up." The thief obliged with no comment. As Leo was being helped up he listened to the boy's ramblings, 'Guess it's been hard for him. Can't blame him really, he's too young to have a hold of that kind of power.' For a moment Leo just stoop there leaning on the thief for support. It was obvious he couldn't stand on his own by this point, just as it was obvious the thief couldn't support Leo's weight for too long. "I thought you said you were going to show us the way to the city. I suggest you don't make promises you don't intend to keep." In Leo's mind he wasn't sure what to do with the boy, but he knew acknowledging the boy's pain as if he could even begin to understand was definitely the wrong approach. "Leaving you alone right now isn't going to help anyone. So get up and wipe those tears away." Leo waited a second to see if Riyak would move. "You said you'd love to be weak? Well you're not. Sorry, but it's time you take responsibility for your strength. Binding your power up and trying to hide from it isn't going to solve anything, it'll just delay the inevitable. You need help. Don't send people away if they've accepted who you are." Leo had to stop at this point, the pain in his leg was getting to be unbearable, he could feel blood begging to seep down it. With gritted teeth Leo ended his sentence, "It's not my choice if you come with us or not, that's up to the group and finally you. But I've made my stance on the matter clear."

OOC: Sorry for the delay, had a lot of work to do. My schedule should be better now though
Monsters don't sleep under the bed... They sleep inside your head
Riyak's little mental breakdown was only worsened as he saw Leorio's leg, seeing he needed the captive man's help just to stand. "I'm sorry, after everything I wasn't trying to hurt any of you, yet no matter what I do people always get hurt, all people do is die around me" Riyak said. For a moment he just laid there until he heard Leorio's voice. He told Riyak that he thought Riyak was going to guide them to the city, before saying to not make promises he didn't intend to keep. Riyak slowly got up, his eyes were still stary with tears. As Riyak got up Leorio began talking again, saying that leaving him alone wasn't going to help anyone, after which he told Riyak to wipe away his tear, which Riyak did, albeit slowly. After Riyak had stopped the faucet that was his eyes Leorio began preaching to Riyak. Telling Riyak that it was too bad that he wasn't weak but he couldn't just mope around he told Riyak to take responsibility, binding away his power wasn't going to solve anything, it would only delay the inevitable. Riyak knew this was true, he was a physical representation of his power coming back to haunt him after he tried the quick fix to get rid of it, but it wasn't as easy as Leorio was saying, just man up and take responsibility, that whole thing, trying to tame his power, it wasn't like Riyak had tried to just run away from his problems, like he had never once tried to tame himself. "you think its so easy, like if I just put my mind to it I could control myself no problem, like I'd be able to put this all behind me... your wrong. I tried, I tired and tired and tried, but do you know what happens every time? Everyone I care about ends up dead!" Riyak looked at Leorio with what could almost be called a glare, yet he couldn't hold contempt for the man, Riyak knew deep down that he was trying to help, but talking about things he had no idea about just made Riyak upset, twirling him into a storm of emotions, fear, anger and sorrow all contradicting emotions making Riyak feel sick inside. "I killed both my parents my bare hands in an uncontrolled rage. The man who took me in and raised me was killed when I was kidnapped for my power, after that those people discovered how to control me, that all followed to me being forced to be an assassin killing whoever my captor wanted with so say in it myself, after that I'm put in a battle against someone I foolishly tried to befriend only to have the puppet masters up top purposely have me go berserk and almost kill everyone in the bloody arena just for a good show, in the process I nearly kill my friend, you really think by now I haven't tried to take control of myself? Well the answer is that I've tried to control myself for my whole life, especially when I was being ordered to carry out murders for my captor, guess what it didn't matter and it won't matter, there are certain walls that cannot be taken down, some fight its just impossible to win! How can someone like you even begin to comprehend anything thats going on with me?!? Have you ever had to watch yourself as you ripped a man apart limb by limb? Being completely unable to even try and stop yourself from brutally killing those who stood in your way! Do you ever hear the screams of everyone you've killed everytime you try to sleep?! Haunting you every night over what you couldn't control! NO! I've met people like you, people who think that everything can be fixed if you just try hard enough, then every things just peachy, well guess what I tried that way and surprise IT DIDN'T WORK!" Riyak had started out simply talking but by the time he finished talking he found himself yelling at Leorio and Riyak himself was shaking like a leaf, he hadn't even realized where the change happen going from a flurry of emotions before directing anger at Leorio, however as he stopped talking Riyak took a deep breath.
As Riyak slowly brought himself down from his emotional outburst, before realizing everything he had said, how he basically aimed everything that happened to him at Leorio in that moment. "Sorry, I've reached the end of my fuse and sort of let loose" Riyak said not even being able to bring himself to look at Leorio "I'll bring you all to the city, as long as you guys don't mind, I'm basically ready to explode at any major stimulus, if your fine with that I'll get you there if for no other reason than to make sure your leg gets better Leorio, after I don't know, the world might be better off with me no longer being apart of it" Riyak said as he looked at his palm for a moment. He began to let off a red aura, however it wasn't another attack Riyak for a moment was examining himself, perhaps Lyndis was right earlier, that he should be killed, perhaps that was the only real answer to all of this, just to let it all end, then no one could be harmed anymore. Slowly Riyak closed his fist before looking at Leorio finally "Thank you for what you said, not many would treat me kindly after what I did there, but if you think there's hope for me, drop it, there's no hope or me or any of my race" Riyak said before moving the thief out of the way so that he could support Leorio himself "Come on town's this way"

While the others had begun talking he had completely blocked it out in his own thoughts. The kid hadn't listened to him before so why waste his breath now? Let someone else take the kid from ignorant fight-starter to maybe a little more educated. It wasn't his problem. Taking a calming breath he had started to distance himself from the group, keeping more to himself so as to not trigger whatever problem the kid had. Tarak didn't trust anyone who had 'stupid' power and was unable to control it. In the end a person like that ended one of two ways, in his experience. The first was bloody and ended in his death. The second was no less bloody but it left him alive, in control, and filled with a lifetime of regret. Honestly he could see it going either way for him.
Therefore when he realized they had stopped he had taken several steps back, taking a fighting stance and placing his hand on his sword. What was going on now? Was the kid losing control even without working himself up? Reckless. This kid shouldn't be anywhere near people he could hurt like this. How could anyone allow such a danger into their cities? As it stood now he could have seriously harmed everyone here, Leorio the only one who hadn't been far enough away from him. There was little trust for magics from him, and he was eyeing the intricate works of the one 'binding' the kid and he had to agree with Silvia's quip. A refund and more. Knowing his power was enough to kill anyone at a drop of the boys wishy washy emotions was more than just refund worthy. Someone had knowingly let this monstrous kid out among weaker beings.
Leorio was hurt though, and he took a step toward him even as he ordered the bandit to help him. Frowning tightly he just glanced at Silvia. The kid was an emotional nightmare. Even with Leorio trying to help him he was blatantly brushing the advice aside and went on a tirade. What did the kid think? That no Lycanoid could control themselves? None of them would have lived to greater ages if that was true. The point Leorio made about not hiding his powers away made sense too. The more you held yourself in the greater the need to burst out became. But who was he kidding really? This kid was going to end up wiping enough people out that a bounty would be placed on his head. Especially if he kept arguing every time someone gave him advice. Quite a stubborn kid despite 'not knowing much' about people. It wasn't a leap of thought at all to know the kid didn't know anything about anything.
The thing that startled him most was that the kid blatantly said there was 'no hope'. Seriously? "Are we truly going to allow a child that dangerous in a city of defenseless people?" Not having meant to voice his question aloud it was quiet, as if he was asking himself. Assuming the boy hadn't already been staying there he was obviously not stable. Mentally or whatever. It wasn't safe to have such a loose cannon among people. Leorio seemed so sure of himself, letting the kid lead them to the city. If it wasn't much further they could honestly just go themselves, the kid didn't need to come with. The lion chimera had this thing about promises though, which led him to believe that he wasn't as worried as they were.

[Ooc: I apologize for how late this is, there was simply to much going on to get it done.]
Silvia wasn't sure who made more sense. A lot of what Leorio said made sense about Riyak needing to take responsibility for his powers and learn to control them properly, not just try to bind them. Whatever magic was binding him currently clearly wasn't working and lead to violent and destructive outbursts when it failed. However taking him to the city seemed foolish. They were lucky a broken leg was the worst thing that had happened in the sudden outburst of uncontrolled power. If that happened in the crowed city it would mean hundreds of deaths. That coupled with his lack of emotional control and stubborn belief that there was simply no hope for him. Well if he wasn't even going to try....”Carrying out murders for your captor....you mean like mind control?” She asked after he explained how he couldn't stop himself.
“Wait, we can't just let Leorio walk all the way to the city like this.” His leg was broken and blood was running freely down her fellow Chimera's leg. They would be lucky if they made it to the city before he bleed out if they continued on like that, not to mention the amount of pain Leorio must be in right now. “Set him down.” Silvia glanced around the barren landscape somewhat helplessly. She was no healer. In fact she had never even attempted to make a split before, but she did at least understand the general concept of one and the added benefit of her tailoring skills. Unfortunately the surrounding area had no sign of any trees one would normally use to make a splint. Instead she set down her bag and began rooting around for supplies. “I don't suppose any of you have something we could use for a split?” She asked out loud. Meanwhile a small pile of items appeared to the side of the bag as she pulled things out until she found a top she wasn't too attached to and began ripping it into bandages with her spider legs.
“Perhaps Tarak and I could make a trip to the city for supplies, and Leorio could help Riyak?” It was the best middle ground she could come up with. It seemed cruel to just abandon Riyak, but they couldn't bring him into the city either. She wasn't sure how much Leorio could help him, but the way he spoke suggested to her that he had an idea how. She had no idea how close Tarak and Leorio were either, but the chimera was starving and needed food. She would at the very least make sure he had that much, but she'd rather have Tarak at her side for the trip in case any bandits showed up. Especially on the return trip when being laden with supplies. That and the two of them could carry more than her by herself.

The others had decided Riyak was too dangerous to allow into the city. Leorio understood there concern but couldn't believe any child would actually be as dangerous as Riyak seemed to be. Then he was made to sit, had it been anyone but Silvia who gave the order Leorio would have ignored it, but he knew better to ignore a woman's intuition, too many times had it kept him safe. "If you insist, but don't worry too much about it, I've had far worse and walked much further." He chuckled, although the statement was true it didn't stop it from hurting like hell. As Silvia brought out a shirt from her bag Leorio realised what she was looking for, "Oh no, don't worry abo-" however the spider Chimera was too quick for him and proceeded to rip the shirt into bandages and wrap up his wound, the advantages of several appendages. As Silvia continued talking it was clear the two didn't think Riyak was safe to be in the city, they were right but it hurt to admit, "This poor child needs help."
Leorio looked over at Tarak, "Can I ask you to complete a promise for me?" He said motioning towards the theif, he hoped that was enough to convey his message. "Riyak, where you go is up to you, but if they are going into the city to gather supplies I would appreciate you staying to help me." By this point he could feel his feral instincts begin to set in, "Survive." Smiling he looked the boy in the eyes, "Those aren't the eyes of a killer, they're too broken to enjoy it. Give me a chance to try and fix them, if after that you still see no hope, then I'll admit I've failed."

OOC: Sorry, having major writing block with this at the moment
Monsters don't sleep under the bed... They sleep inside your head
Riyakheard Tarak's quip about letting a kid as dangerous as Riyak into the city, and Riyak knew he was right. Riyak knew Lycanoid's had no place among others, they were to be solitary beings, however Riyak's thoughts were interrupted as Silvia spoke up, she reiterated what Riyak had said earlier about being forced to carry out murders for his captors and she asked Riyak if it was like mind control. Riyak nodded slowly "Gold forcibly draws out that power from me, however the bearer of that gold will have control of me so long as the gold is near me, if they put gold on me personally than I'll be under their control no matter where I am, silver has the opposite effect, it helps me keep my calm, though it hurts to hold it too much, I think there's other things that effect me, someone in town threatened to throw me into a berserk state if I didn't fight in an arena" Riyak's said. The group soon shifted to Leorio's wounds as they tried to think of a way to deal with it, Silvia tried to wrap it up, asking if anyone had anything to make a split. Riyak just watched, he wasn't one with too much knowledge of medicine or any form of healing, though he did know a little about medicinal plants, not that it mattered out in the wasteland they were in currently. Though it worried him slightly as they said they should probably go to the city, it meant Leorio's wounds were a little worse than initially thought.
Riyak couldn't help, as such he thought about the last outburst he had just had. Riyak was caught up in the moment and not much of what Leorio said scratched the surface, Riyak had assumed it was the usual stuff people who met him said. Yet through all of this one thing did stick out and Riyak was only thinking of it now. Leorio had told him not to just keep his power locked up, it would only delay the inevitable it wouldn't make his problem go away. Riyak wondered about this for a moment, how was letting the power he wanted to keep away going to help? Riyak thought about it for a few, he knew letting all his power flow throughout himself would cause him to go mad almost instantly, but perhaps letting a little power course through his body would be okay just a small amount. A faint red glow enveloped Riyak at first it flared up a little as Riyak couldn't quite regulate his power well. there was a small rumble in the ground for a moment Riyak felt like his power would break free like a torrent, yet after a bit of focus he slowly reigned himself in reducing his blazing red aura to a faint red haze around Riyak's body. After letting out a small breath Riyak felt a little better, he held his hand out infront of himself and opened and closed it watching the faint aura around his body, slowly he let it grow into a red glow of magic energy. It wasn't much but he was releasing a small fraction of his power, a fraction he felt comfortable with, it was more than he generally allowed himself and for once it felt good. Riyak began wondering, had Leorio been right? was containing his power just making it worse? Riyak wondered if that was part of it, though he knew it couldn't be all, his berserker states were more than just pent up energy, he was like an entirely different being at those times, he wasn't Riyak any more.
Riyaks attention shifted back to Leorio as the lion hybrid spoke to him, Leorio told Riyak that where he went was up to him but he'd like it if Riyak stayed and helped him out. Riyak looked at Leorio for a moment, the red glow was still around the lycanoid yet unlike any other time there was no aura of danger Riyak was just letting some magic power flow rather than leave it pent up. Leorio soon continued, he went on to say that Riyak didn't have the eyes of a killer that they were too broken for that, he wanted a chance to fix them and if Riyak saw no hope after that then he would admit defeat. Riyak wasn't quite sure how to respond, the fact that he was releasing magic power but still keeping in control, yet he wasn't sure if that was called hope, still it was something and if Leorio could somehow make Riyak able to control more power without losing his mind, perhaps there might be a ray of hope "I'll stay, if we all leave yo here something might come to eat you, I'm the scariest thing here nothing will attack us if I'm here" Riyak's said before letting out a sigh "What you said earlier about leaving my power chained up, currently this is as most I can comfortably release, I can probably do more but that would infringe on the edge of where I'd lose myself and go berserk, I'm not sure if what you said will work or if what you do will work but I'll go berserk again if nothings done so I'll let you try, just realize that your putting your body in peril by doing this" Riyak said
