Fortunately for you, you rolled a ten! You were able to find your way back on track, so you may continue your normal rolls! Congratulations! Thanks to your speedy recovery, you only lost an hours time on your trip.
Having found his way pass this trial by following the only route he hadn't went down, Michael held the Lantern high as the night became thicker and thicker with each step forward. The twilight hours were fast approaching as Michael moved further and further. Offering a glance to the back, Mjorin said a few words or a grunt here and there, as he always had. The Monkey-Being, that was a different story, he couldn't tell if he was purposeful in avoiding his gaze or if it was something unintentional.
"Did I perhaps, do something?" Michael Thought Inwardly to himself.
He would have attempted to offer the Fellow wanderer a word, but still was unsure of what, or when he had encountered the fellow. Some memories had come back, as if a passing wind, and he did remember the Name of this Simian-tag-along. He also recalled having met this youth at a village, but he couldn't figure if it was a recent visit or another forgotten one...
Michael shrugged off the thoughts in his head and returned his focus to the path he was laying "As long as I can keep them alive, it doesn't really matter. Keeping that in mind he stopped and offered the youth a frosty water skein from beside the lantern before heading on. Passing it to Mjorin to hand over as he continued onward

The chill in the air is starting to recede, the bite in the air is beginning to lessen, dawn approaches. As the sun crowns over the horizon, something appears before the trio. A set of tracks, large and only partially faded...could this be an opportunity? Michael stared hard at the tracks, slowly memorizing the outline, the depth, and the size, committing it to memory.
"What're you doing Michael?" Mjorin chimes up, his heavy axe hoisted up and resting on the back of his neck "Did'a stumble across som'thin?" his expectations obviously high as he stared at the massive Undead knights' back.
Before the Monkey-kin youth could approach Michael motions Mjorin closer with a wave of his armored hand. Mjorin complied readily and moved to his side quickly. Michael said in a low, serious tone "If this is the beast that killed you." he looked up from the prints and let his gaze fall on Mjorin "Do not lose your will when fighting it."
"What'd ya me Michael?" Mjorin was a bit confused, but decided Michael should be able to clear this up quickly.
"When an Undead meets the one that suffocated their life, their hopes, their dream, their ambitions, they tend to lose themselves in rage." his tone fell another octave as he spoke in this serious manner "If it were just you and I, here and now, I would not mind you going into a berserk state."
Michael motioned to the Monkey-Kin youth approaching from behind "But if this ones life vanishes due to your inability and rash actions, I promise you, there will be no peace in the afterworld..." His words bit deep and true, not a moment of hesitation or false intentions...
Mjorin gave a sturdy nod "I realize what yer' saying and I hold those same values." He laughed loudly out of nowhere as soon as he felt the Youth was in earshot "Hey there, best be keepin' yer'self hydrated." Mjorin smiled before tossing the water skein to the monkey-youth.
Mjorin turned and followed Michael further into this beasts' territory...
And so the Hunt Truly Begins.

"What more could you want from life than a little adventure?"
Reginald simply followed behind the man in the armor, unsure if the man was paying him any mind on their journey. It was very difficult to tell with the guy, since his face was completely covered in that helmet and such. Just what did the man look like? The thought peeked Reginald's curiosity, and he could not help but want to remove the helmet from the man. After all, it was his natural instinct to monkey around. This was a job, however, and as such he refused to partake in any kind of funny business until he was back in the village. I don't wanna mess anything up for me. This is the first time I've gotten such a well-paying job and I can't mess it up now just became of a little bit of curiosity. He thought to himself, following the group as closely as possible. He did not want to get separated from them and end up lost in the mountains. "Pretty cold place, huh? Are you a native around here? Kinda strange if you were, since you're wearing all that metal. That's a lot more rough on you, you know? It'd be a lot better to wear some cloth armor or something."
Reginald was simply trying to make general conversation, hoping the man would partake in it a little bit. The two guys in front of him seemed to know where they were going, so he made no effort to try and stay at the front of the group. Instead, he would make conversation from the back. It was then that he heard someone call out from in front of him, telling him to stay hydrated. His attention came to them just in time to notice the waterskin flying at him at a good speed. Catching it, he simply stared at it for a few moments, a little confused. "You know snow's water, right? You don't really need these tings up in the mountains like this, old man." The young stated, chuckling a little bit at the old man. "Thanks I guess. This is probably better than whatever water made up this snow. Purer definitely." Reginald stated as he opened up the skin and drank from it. There was a strange taste to it, but he decided that it was best not to say anything. After all, the old man had been looking out for him by giving him some water. "Alright, so, we're about there, right? Let's fight this thing." Reginald stated, smashing his gauntlets together in anticipation of a fight. Hopefully they would find their target soon.
Wow! With your +1, you received another new lead! Congratulations! A +1 will be added to your next roll, as well.
The tracks continue! (sorry, it's not necessarily riveting, but it fits)

Waking up that morning was hard for Blake. She didn't necessarily sleep well; maybe it had been because she was worried about her Knight, but something kept her from staying in bed. Not that it mattered at this point. They were going somewhere she'd never been, so the young woman would have to bring her A-game if they were gunna get anywhere. She was already bundled up by the time they got to the snow, making a short white jacket with a fur hood, dark gray pants, and then a series of layered white and blue tops. It was better to keep her hair down in a place like this. Any extra "warmth" despite how little would most likely help out big-time. Given their description, she'd at least blend in a little this way as well as keep warm. "Maybe we'll have better luck here." As soon as she saw the new landscape, Blake's eyes lit up."This is so cool! Rowan! Let's go!"At least the polar bear would probably be more comfortable here.
It wasn't long before they came upon weird lines in the snow. They reminded Blake of a sled, though they seemed a little big. As a kid, she was lucky enough to have her own hill for such an activity."Hey, we should follow these, right? Let's check it out!"Perhaps she was a little too stoked to be in a brand new place, but it was hard to hide her excitement.

Congratulations. You and your party found a lead. +1 to your next roll.
You find large lines in the snow that resemble a sled's. Maybe you'll find someone at the end of the tracks.

It was about forty five minutes later when Blake saw something jutting a little out of the snow. The tracks hadn't ended, so perhaps it'd fallen out of the sleigh? She tilted her head at the sight before moving through the snow to pick up the object. Another bag of trail rations for an early day find. Well, at least they wouldn't be starving any time soon. "I found snacks!" she cried to her Knight, spinning around and putting the bag of rations into one of the pockets of the polar bear's bags."Well, it's not the worst way to start the day, and these tracks still continue on for a little bit. This probably fell out while they were travelling." Her voice trailed off for a moment as she stared at the bear's fur before looking up at Rowan.
"How..."she debated on even asking, "are you feeling? ...Sorry, I know I don't have to worry about you- and yes, I know this method is going to cause you pain. I get it, I get it. You passed out last night, though, and I'm not a medical professional, but passing out from shock can cause a lot of problems. Just wanna make sure...you've got your head in the game." Blake wasn't quite a morning person so was trying to be aloof for sake of the good of the party or whatever, not really up for Rowan to bite her head off for caring about her Knight. She was actually a little cranky but her absolute excitement for being in a new place was counter-balancing it rather nicely.

~Rowan~
"There used to be a point to everything, but since that day I can't seem to find myself caring about anything anymore. It's not because I don't want to, but because it's best if I don't."
Rowan was feeling rather terrible after he woke up in the morning, having slept in a rather uncomfortable position. Maybe that had something to do with someone haphazardly placing him in his bedroll after he passed out. Whatever it was, Rowan knew that he was feeling rather uncomfortable due to it. As such, he was still a little grumpy because of the slight pain he was feeling... and because of the series of unfortunate events that they had suffered from yesterday. When Blake suggested that the two of them would have better luck in this snow-filled region, Rowan merely looked to the side with a rather doubtful expression. Obviously, he had lost all of his enthusiasm after yesterday's little fiasco. Blake's reaction to the snowy mountains, however, was enough to make him put thoughts of yesterday out of his mind for a small amount of time. She seemed so enthusiastic to be in the snowy mountains, and she was clearly having a pretty good time looking at all of the snow. Smirking a bit, Rowan decided that it was probably best not to mock her for her childish attitude.
His attention was then drawn to some lines in the snow by Blake, the woman asking him if the two of them should follow the tracks in snow. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he simply held his head for a few moments before responding. "Yeah... we should check it out." He responded to her immediately answering her own question. He was not sure if she was doing it to mess with him or not... but at least she was finding some things. It was nearly an hour later before they found something by following the tracks, a bag of rations seeming to have fallen in the snow. Blake pretty much shouted that she found snacks to him, making him recoil slightly and consider reprimanding her for shouting in the mountains. After all, it was not like creatures were not lurking about. Blake then went into consolation mode, informing him that it was not bad to start the day out like this. "Yeah, maybe not right now. If you keep shouting like that, though, then we'll be surrounded by enemies before we know it. You need to be careful and stop being so loud!" He stated to her, rubbing his neck as the pain seemed to be subsiding bit by bit.
After walking for a few more minutes, Blake seemed to become more talkative than she was earlier, trying to start a conversation with Rowan. Unfortunately, it was not about a subject that he would want to talk about, the young man simply narrowing his eyes as he stared at her. "I'm perfectly fine. If I can keep sane after literally being tortured to death on a battlefield, then this kind of pain is nothing. I won't break from destroying my body a couple of times. I'm not that weak-willed." Rowan responded to her with a rather distant tone. The young man seemed to have a pretty strong will, capable of shrugging off most things that would break the mentality of people. Even now, he seemed to be rather normal, albeit he had a few pains from how he slept. "If you're going to drag me to my bedroll again, just make sure that you put me in a comfortable position next time. I don't want to wake up with a cramp in my neck like I did this morning." Rowan commented, rubbing his neck and trying to fix the slight pains he was feeling. The young man was not trying to outright deny conversation... but he would prefer it be on a different topic than whether he was healthy or not.
"Even if you tell me that there was a point to bringing me back, that still doesn't seem to mean anything to me. All I am is a weapon, and that was all I was trained to be, since the beginning."

"Yeah, if we could really refrain from mentioning that second-hand, it'd really make my day..." she muttered to herself when Rowan said he'd be able to withstand this method of getting stronger. His reasoning behind it though made sense, sure, but the way he was just willing to throw it out there. The thought of the scene made Blake shutter. "Anyway," she started walking again, "Would you have really preferred me to to have left you spread-eagle on the ground?...Sorry for being loud, but this place is so cool. It's way too pretty. I wonder how it's so cold all the time..."She continued to follow the sled tracks until...they faded almost an hour later.
"Annnd...I guess we're at square one,"Blake stated with a sigh. At least they were on the right track, and they were making some sort of progress. It could be worse. With a glance up at a cliffside, she smiled at the ice hanging off of it. Yeah, this place was way too cool.

Congratulations, the trail ended in nothing. You have reached base.
Rowan's getting stronger, actually physically stronger. What am I going to do, though? It's not like we can plan for every circumstance. If something happens to him, would I be able to take on that woman?Blake fiddled with the string of her bow while she walked, contemplating. I'm only decent because of my summons. I doubt I'll run out of mana, but how am I supposed to even consider taking on a woman capable of dismantling...dismembering an entire platoon? Maybe it won't come down to that, but if it does... No, we can do this. We'll be fine.It wasn't worth worrying about, not yet at least. They hadn't even found the Sky Platform. If it wormed its way into her head too much, it made end up doing them significantly more harm than good. They couldn't afford to get psyched out. A pit was forming in Blake's stomach all the same. She hadn't realized just how quiet she'd been since the topic came to mind, but at least there was a minor distraction. The day had been pretty good so far adventuring-wise when the pair of them came across a nasty-looking mine shaft. Blake could hardly see from here, but after the events from the day before, she kinda wanted to avoid anything that could collapse. The girl looked back toward her Knight. "So, I don't know about you, but I'm not feeling dark and gloomy right now," she stated, jabbing her thumb toward the structure. "Besides, we she keep moving if we wanna get stuff done, right?"Blake stretched a bit before moving along again. "Lemme know if you wanna check it out." At least today felt...faster than the days before. The things they'd run into so-far weren't particularly frustrating, and this place was definitely nice. Perhaps the snow wasn't so easy to move around in, especially when it got deeper, but it wasn't too powdered. At least there was a sense of solid ground.
She'd take out the hounds like they were dog food. A Wrath and Custas could probably hold their own for some amount of time, but I doubt they could make any headway. I'd be momentarily exhausted if I summoned them both at the same time. I might still be able to make arrows, but my archery is still not the best. It'd probably be better if I use the adamantine. It's so tough, though. Hopefully, they wouldn't get side-tracked at all today. It would be best if she could use that time to do some training of her own. Blake let loose a yawn she'd been holding back.

Congratulations, you found a dungeon with very-high level treasure inside of it. You'll have to fight some nasty ice imps to get to the treasure though. If you do, you'll receive a potion of true mana.
It was hard not to look more at the scenery rather than out for enemies. To be fair, they were...almost the same thing, though the previous was more distraction than diligence. She'd probably be let back in Carmillion, only to be thrown under her mother's tutelage, at least...that's where she'd be returned. The woman would never forgive her for running off with the Knight she hated so much. Would there even be a choice? Cheyenne might even attempt to get them to remove Blake's funeral license. Should I consider staying somewhere else after this? I'd never be able to see them again, but I think it'd be easier to love them from afar rather than resent them and be near. Her eyes drifted from the landscape over to Rowan. What about him? What's he going to want to do after this? With how talented he is, he might be better off with a Mage stronger than me. How will-No, she couldn't think about that question, no yet. They had to focus on the task at hand before anything else.
They'd only been walking for an hour when they came upon yet another mine-like structure. It looked so similar... Was this the same one?! No way, they'd been walking straight away from the thing this whole time. Blake narrowed her eyes, staring at the thing for a couple moments before sighing with a smile."Dark and gloomy it is then,"she stated with a smile. "Wanna go in? This is the second one of these things we've seen in little less than an hour. It's clearly a sign."There was probably something nasty inside, something like hobgoblins or dragon worshipers. The magus raised both of her arms, palms pointed toward the ground before magic circles glowed in the snow and the Astral Hounds appeared. Little did she know that this place would be filled with dragon-worshipping hobgoblins, some strange cult that had taken cover in the mines between the mountains. She didn't plan on going in without Rowan's input. If he thought it was a bad idea, then it'd probably be best to avoid...
