Papa Roach sees another lusus-supportive mug, and figures that he knows a lusus or two that could use one. He fights tooth and nail for another one and puts it into the chariot too. Adamaz is too busy trying to avoid the lethal weapons being swung around in one of the smaller Megacomplex brawls to notice. Hot lusus tips for the holidays!

You know what? Another microwave that is also a TV. One for the kitchen, ANOTHER for the kitchen (to watch TV on), and another for the living room. PERFECT. This seems fine and also inexpensive.

H...hello? Papa Roach?
He loses his place in line - a fatal maneuver - to find his lusus. The small boy maneuvers past entire wastelands of exhausted, fallen shoppers - small groups of carolers sing dirges for the fallen in the midst of the carnage. He passes an aisle where the only item remaining is a single unit of water bottles - a hundred pound behemoth barely contained in cardboard and cheap squeaky plastic. Grub sauce oozes from the refrigeration section in a multitude of colors... or is that just grub sauce?
Adamaz finds Papa Roach amidst a pile of other lusii, some unconscious, the rest rendered groaning in disgust from a free sample gone horribly horribly wrong. He collects his lusus, precious roach, and deposits his spoils into the chariot. 5 hours later, they are checked out and leave the store. Exhausted.

Punkie found them again, the spud shaped erasers. They seemed to glint and shake in her vision, sometimes going fuzzy around the edges. These must be a blessed object. The feeling or miracles seemed to radiate from them. She already had a few of these erasers, but now she needed more. They were a gift from the Messiahs, left for her to find, and so she would.

Yep, there they were. More spud erasers. Like a dog sniffing out the treasure, Punkie fallowed her capricious instinct, and her small hand managed to grasp the brightly colored spuds. In her trance she got elbowed in the face, and her vision turned fuzzy. She held onto the spuds and let the Messiahs take over her. Before she knew it she was a ball of kicks, scratches, and menacing smiles, managing to be enough of a obstacle that others avoided her.

The slippers, once again they swam into Punkie's view. Her head was still ringing, was it from the blow to the face she had received not long ago? Or was it a trance, and gift from her Messiahs, so that she may go forth and get as many gifts as she could.

Her vision swam, the colors and things and lights all swimming together to create the true vision of pedigree's eve. "Clobfaced s**t beast!" The girl yelled as her eyes were drawn to an object in particular. It appeared to be on a troll who had paid and was quickly fleeing the scene, but Punkie was guided, guided to obtain that gift at all costs.

Punkie pulled out a group of vegetables that appeared to be engaging in a religious dance. The juggalo laughed, loud, and joined the vegetables in their dance, right after she plucked them up and threw them into her loot wagon which Carver was bravely guarding.

It was a mirthful practice, the holiday and celebration of new Pedigree's eve. It was just a new thing, not having been in practice for more than the last 5 to ten sweeps as far as the current generation was concerned, but it was in practice now, and Punkie could tell it was her destiny to make the most of the holiday.

The potatoes, the spuds, they spoke to the juggalo. They told her, in their garbled, hard to hear voices, that there was more to the holy fruit than punkins. Punkie wasn't sure if she should believe them, punkins were her life! But the spuds insisted, and managed to convince her to take them home. She would have to meditate on this later.

The box. The unlabeled box. The unlabeled box with vegetables on it. Punkie could only marvel at its beauty. It held so many mysteries, so many secrets and tricks. Its only hint? A smiling vegetable. Punkie didn't think she could ever open the box, its mysteries were two deep. Opening it would ruin the magic, would let the mysteries into her head. She wanted to enjoy the mysteries, not know them. To know was a mirthful mistake.

Punkie picked up the pair of slippers. How many of these had she gotten? She was unsure. As her vision started to return to normal, no more dancing punkins swirling around her head, she found that she could focus more. Focus on presents.
