 He was back at the pet place, Traveler ambling up and getting ready to play as best he could.

Kin name: Water-in-the-Fire Roll: 8,5 Bird (owl) && 5. The pet was not happy with your game, Snailshell gives you a token as apology for the scratches. (+1 token) Steam didn't really know how to play with owls - or birds at all, being as he really only had experience with his own mongoose - but he gave it a try. Turns out, letting his own pet play with an owl was a bad idea! At least he was given an apology - as well as some nasty scratches showing where he'd had to protect the poor thing from the hungry bird!

Scale Babies (Caiman) - 7. The pet climbs onto your back and refuses to leave until you give it a ride. (+1 token) We Do See was glad he was a rather well-built guy! As he approached the caiman it seemed fairly excited to see him, bounding up and immediately climbing onto We Do See's back. Chuckling, he shrugged in good nature, giving the animal the ride it wished for.

Soothe 8, 2 - bird (songbird), wild animal "I'm so sorry," cried Soothe. "I didn't mean to stay away - I've just been so busy." She'd work her hardest to make up for it today. But in her panic she didn't notice - yet again - that she was working with a wild animal, a richly-plumed songbird that seemed to hate her with a vengeance. It was clear she'd never had to deal with this before.

Kin name: Friend to Beasts Roll: 7, 4 Scale babies (caiman, feathered serpent, water snake, turtle, frog, pangolin, dragon) && You manage to tucker out several pets. (+2 tokens) True to her name, Friend to Beasts was quite excited to see a large gathering of pets, and they seemed to take to her well. She was more than happy to help keep them occupied and, hopefully, give the lovely doe running the booth a bit of a break. She wandered over to where most of the reptilian pets had gathered and did her best to gather them. From there, she somehow managed to get them all to begin following her and chasing her around the space provided. With leaps and bounds she kept them slithering, crawling, waddling after her until, eventually, slowly, they began to drop off and she, too, needed a break. She nodded at a job well-done.

Kin name: Linger Roll: 2, 7 Wolf (spectral hound) & The pet climbs onto your back and refuses to leave until you give it a ride. (+1 token) It was a very lovely spectral hound that went quite well with his colours and everything, but nevertheless giving a giant see-through dog a piggyback ride so it would let go was one of the most terrifying things Linger had ever experienced (including the angry wasp).

FrostyPeaches Kin name: Light in the Ocean Roll: 7, 6 7. Scale babies ( feathered serpent ) && 6. You take the pet for a nice walk, maybe you find a thing or two. (+1 token) Light went back to the booth full of pets the next day and noticed a feathered serpent. it was beautiful when it hissed and spreaded its wings. He motioned with his leg for it to come to him. it was intelligent so it came to him. "Come with me, you definitely could protect me as we go for a short walk. Maybe you can feed yourself out there too." he told the serpent. somehow that pet knew what he was talking about, or so Light in the Ocean thought, because he could have sworn that it just nodded its head at him...

Didn't canines like to fetch things? Was it because he threw the stick towards the critter? Did he do it wrong? He didn't know, but he did know that the wolf wasn't happy with him, and HE wasn't happy with the retaliation he'd gotten!

Kin name: Do the Honours Roll: 6, 3 6. Fuzzballs 3. You groom the pet, you get a bit of fur/feather/honey/pet appropriate thing. (+1 token) Honour loved familiars and pets. Heck, earlier this year he had kitted out half of his family with a bunch of pale wonders while he created a bouquet for his lifemate. They were lovely, and a willingly friend, through thick and thin. So, he figured he'd come and check out his family's familiars while they were partaking in the fun. Flopping next to Glimmer, he contently worked on fluffing up and cleaning it's pure fur, before catching a mouthful of fluff. Winter pelts! They were such a mess!

She didn't know what was going on - usually she was fairly good about not approaching wild animals. Perhaps it'd be better to gather food? Yes, birdseed could be hard to find in this time of year - she gathered half a tortoise shell full and delivered it to the booth. "I've not been doing so well with - with identifying your animals," she said. "So, here!" She smiled. At least it'd be a bit useful.
