Rain Yupa I'm not 100% on what the 'choice' is, exactly: Run to the graveyard, or..... Also, running is Speed+2, so 16 squares a turn = a little over 26 rounds! Just saying 4laugh In the meantime, here's an athletics roll until I know what my options are. Athletics +4 = 12 You can take the road not traveled. Acorn can go to the "masolamb", talk to Rika... Do things the others didn't... Or run like hell to regroup(still different, but still). I wonder, how fast can hell really run? Oh! Yeah, Acorn's not the brightest tool in the drawer, so she wouldn't think of anything beyond returning to where she last saw them. Just make sure to let me know when I'm due for another roll!

ok, team talk time.
I don't have any intention of taking the elf up on her offer. Seraphina doesn't kill people for money without a good reason. I 'mean she'll rip your throat out, but probably because you attacked her or deserved it in some way. Plus this chick already stabbed her, something Seraphina doesn't easily forgive.
I was going to roll an intimidate to try and convince her to talk without taking her offer, otherwise I was going to continue the fight, but i wanted to run it past you guys before I did this since we're all on the same team.

I have no problem with you wanting to do that...in fact, i have no problem if you wanted to just outright attack her without saying a word...maybe throw her down into the pit with that nut she's already royally pissed off...

She is only making this offer cause she's got a bolt in the ribs and is alone. Plus, Morenth really dislikes anyone attacking the Blessed One... unless it's another draconic being or a dragon itself, then it's more complicated.
So, thinking on if I should do some sneaky stabbing or just thunk another bolt her way.

No, You have not meet a Nim.
It is legal. Only used as a means for a poor person to work off a debt. A slave signs a contract at the start of their service that outlines the work they will provide and for how long. The law forces the owner to take care of their slave(food, bed, medical, etc. Including a day off per week with a small wage) or face LARGE fines. Due to this most slaves are treated more like employees than true slaves.
On top of that, a huge number of citizens are against the more commonly known practice, and will risk jail time to help a real slave, vanish.
Short of it, only the wealthy lords(normally humans) of Bridgepuddle will own a slave and never more than one or two at a time, due to the aforementioned law and outcry.
