"Why can't you throw it and I catch?" Optimist asked.
She picked a stick anyway: actually two of them, after it snapped in half in her mouth. Somehow that let both halves fly off into the distance, though, and Dog seemed to return with them satisfactorily enough.

Darkness Calls looked on with a smile as he headed over to the sticks. "Hmmm let's see..." Darkness picks a fantastic looking stick that branches into two even pieces on one side and the other side was fairly thick around, easily picked up and thrown for Dogs. He watched as she scrambled to fetch it and bring it back. "That was fun!"

 Wrangler was back to play with the adorable dog-cha. Casually grabbing an unremarkable stick-sized stick, she hurled it far into the distance.

Sun-Bleached wasn't sure why anyone would want to chase sticks, but he played along with the game anyway. He found a rather short, but sturdy and weather-worn stick, decently weighted so he could toss it with a flick of the head. Dog seemed to enjoy the chase of it, so that was good, right?

While I Sleep didn't find the best stick she wished she could have, but digging around in the brush was a bit too tiring for her. Hopefully Dog wouldn't mind chasing after a thin, modest, stick like this one.
She hopped into the air, using what was likely the last of her energy, and let the stick twirl off into the distance. It made a soft whistling sound as it spun forward, eliciting a laugh from the blue colored doe.
"Well, that was funny! I should try to do that more often!" She giggled.Quote: 2-5: Your stick is ok. But your throwing technique? Now that is amazing. You get a token!

Oh! What fun fun fun! Bird Chaser ran up to the game, immediately grabbing any old stick (and boy did it actually look old, there was probably some mold growing, too!) and chucking it. Yes! This was excellent! An excellent game! She did enjoy it!! She will come again! Yes!2-5: Your stick is ok. But your throwing technique? Now that is amazing. You get a token!

Something More grabbed a great, big stick, and was nearly as thrilled to throw it as she was sure the dog-acha was to fetch it. It took some effort, she realized, hopping on her legs a bit to position herself... She threw it, and it soared through the air a lot farther than Something More could have imagined. Delighted, she took her token, nuzzling the other acha's head before running off to other festivities.

Well, he supposed "away from other booths" would have to suffice. He found a strangely thick branch with tiny twigs sticking out of it - like crane legs, and tossed it as far as he could.

"Um, I'm not sure what makes a good stick..." Low Tide really didn't find a great stick - it was pretty small, and a little dry and gnarled as well. But when she threw it - maybe with some practice from tossing icicles - it went absolutely flying, and Dog shot off at high speeds after it! Maybe she was pretty good at this after all!

This was it. The perfect stick. Rouge had seen many sticks in her lifetime, and this was the perfect stick. Perfect length, perfect thickness, aerodynamic, 10/10 mouthfeel. It was even a beautifully ashen hue.
Perfection was transient.
Off the perfect stick went.

Something More loved playing with this acha. They were just full of energy. Picking up a simpler, smaller stick with a funny looking knot, she tossed it as far as she could through the air.

Darkness Calls approaches Dogs again. "Nice to see you today! Lemme go pick a stick!" He heads over to the pile. Darkness Calls soon finds a really cool stick that looks like it grew curled around something, but whatever it curled around is gone now, leaving a spiral stick. He returns to Dogs' side and tosses it for her.
6-7: Your stick is fantastic. You toss it and Dogs takes off after it. You get a token!
