Romsca now wished he HAD paid a visit to the minibar, if only to grab something flammable and make a torch. Ah well, if he turned back now, he might not get another chance. After reaching the bottom, he walked on and was just thinking about maybe turning back after all when a sudden shifting sound above him caused him to look up. "s**t!" He pulled out his dagger and attempted to stab the hideous walking nightmare; at least it wasn't as big as a horse instead!

Romsca's dagger flails wide and wildly at the spider. By some strange turn of luck, his blade cuts deep into it's carapace. The spider issues a shrill screech that sounds more like nails on a chalkboard before it topples over onto it's back and curls it's legs up. Silence follows the spiders quick demise. Romsca has the following choices: 1) Inspect the dead spider. (You will receive a +2 bonus due to your intelligence and a +2 bonus from your Search skill) 2) Check out that fancy crypt (You will receive a +2 bonus due to your intelligence and a +2 bonus from your Search skill) 3) Browse the crypts in the walls. (You will receive a +2 bonus due to your intelligence and a +2 bonus from your Search skill) (I am very sorry for how long it has been since I have replied. I had some news that took me away from the internet for a few days.)

"Hiyah!" Romsca never felt less graceful with his dagger as he flailed about wildly, just wanting the overgrown spider to drop down dead. He blinked in surprise when with a spew of guts, the creature actually fell and curled up! Nudging it with his boot for good measure, even though the amount of ooze assured him it was definitely dead, Romsca looked around at the crypt and smiled a little. Now HERE was a place lousy with treasure troves and hidden secrets! He decided to look around first to see if there was anything interesting in the crypt itself, keeping a sharp eye out for any booby traps to snare the nosy visitor.
(Choosing option 2; I'm assuming I roll a d20, correct?)

The crypt is incredibly detailed. It shows the image of a man who appears to be just sort of lounging on it's surface. A lazy sort of smirk on his face while he holds a rose in one hand and a flute in the other. The effigy almost seems to be grinning up at Romsca. Your search seems to be pretty through, even so you nearly miss the fact that the rose has a vauge dial like look. Nearly, but not quite. Upon turning the stone rose, one of the detailed images pockets actually pops open! Inside Romsca finds a leather wrapped object. Before he has a chance to open it though, one of the standing stone guardian's makes a clicking sound. It's eyes pop open. One blue, one purple. They blink, look left then right, and are followed by a weird little laugh. "Ke ke ke!" Another click sounds and the stone guardian swings forwards on hidden hinges to reveal a narrow passageway, and Galloway. The strange little man claps his hands and bounces on his toes. "You got it! Oh that spider kept giving me the most terrible looks every time I tried to come down here to dust! Hurray and yay for getting rid of the creepy crawlie! Why don't you come with me now? Everyones waiting!" He says as he gestures for Romsca to follow him into the passage. (Congratulations! Romsca has found a prize! He will be able to relax now at the party and sample all sorts of treats!) To all Players: Thank you all so much for playing my game! Please do not take your Pockettu to the certing thread. I fell behind on getting the prizes coloured, so as soon as I have them I shall quote you all again!)

Galloways party was both extravagant and weird. Tiny cakes dangled from strings tied to the chandeliers as both a display and decoration. Edible decorations it would seem. There were several drink fountains that had a variety of liquids bubbling up from them. Tea, coco, wine, ale, and chocolate shake. The chairs were all shaped like drinking cups on top of that. There were tiny teacups as stools, large coffee mugs filled with plush marshmallow shaped pillows, even some wine glass shaped seats. These were just small samples of the eccentrics style of decor. Of course Galloway allowed his guests all the time they needed to unwind from their exploration before he finally clapped his hands. "The time is late and it's time now for the party to end! Please take your prizes and make your way to the exit. I hope you all enjoyed your visit!" He says with a delightful waving farewell. Sinbari  The heavy stone box reluctantly creaks open on thick rusty iron hinges. Sol'drin will fine a eerie glowing red eye blinking up at him from inside of the box. With a click and a clack, the object moves as quick as a blink. It scuttles at Sol'drin and snaps itself nice and tight on his arm. Raising it's 'ehad' up, it sways like a silent serpent, it's claw tines clicking against it's 'palm' setting. Well, it looks like Sol'drin may understand why that box was made of stone and out on that ledge now! He has found himself a Demonic Grapple Hook! I hope he can learn to control it! Ragers  Adran's leather wrapped bundle is rather awkward. As he unties it and unfolds it, he will come to realize that the leather isn't a wrapping at all. It's actually part of this strange bundle! Straps and thin metal tubes soon pop out from the wrapping, and a fine green silk flutters free from some corners. After a bit of unfolding and untangling, Adran will find himself with a pair of archaic bat like wings! Strangely these wings shift and tilt on their own towards the faint breeze. Hmmm. It appears Adran has found himself in the possession of Enchanted Wings! Oh. I do hope he isn't afraid of heights! Kitsu_is_EPIC_FAIL  It will take Laurenthiel a little bit of work to get the gilded box to open. Though for a girl as smart as her it wont be much of a challenge. With a click and a soft creaking sound, Laurenthiel will discover a golden bound book studded with gemstones and etched with mystical symbols, along with a matching amulet! Upon opening the book, the pages appear to be blank at first. The amulet will glimmer softly, then the matching symbol on the book will mimic the glimmering. Slowly words in a archaic script will appear on the blank pages. 'Greetings Mistress. What mystical knowledge dost thou seek?' it asks. Oh my! It seems Laurenthiel may have come into possession of a Tome of Knowledge! Just be aware these books can be tricky sometimes! Alamoraine  Upon unwrapping the leather bundle that Romsca had discovered in the tomb, he will find a strange shimmery cloak that feels lighter than a feather. Upon inspection Romsca will realize that while he can see through the cloak, he will not be able to see his hands as they hold the cloth. Oh goodness! It's a Invisibility Cloak! I fear what troubles this brave spider slaying thief may get into. Okay folks! Lets put a nail in this shall we? Please take your pockettu to the certing thread within a week, and thanks again for playing!
