J`Five Queentintin J`Five Queentintin J`Five chilly and rainy here, going to work in an hour or so. Here it's sunny and 0 degrees! chickens should love it, they roam around all day, looking for bugs to eat lol and I collect about 7-8 eggs per day, have lots in the fridge! ^^ is it not difficult to find eggs when they roam? lol well they lay their eggs in the chicken coop, ok,ok...sometimes I might find one near the coop on the ground, not often though! lol ooooh, thats good. whee yes indeed, and now tintin will go outside and set them free lol *sort of speak!* ^^

Okay. So everyone that chats with me on a regular basis or maybe even a bit knows how much I adore my dog Hank. He had a bug bite/sting on his toe that's been healing up and was supposed to go back to the vet on Thursday.
His toe is mostly healed up now and no longer infected, according to the vet.
We had to rush him to the vet yesterday for a totally different reason.
Ashe woke us up yesterday to Hank barely able to walk, slobbering all over, burning up, bloated, and crying in pain....
at first...we thought that he was having a gas issue (since he does have stomach problems) till I felt his back and then I thought the worst because of Audrey is so rough when she plays with him not that she is much bigger than him. However, this could have happened just by getting on and off the couch too since he's only 15 inches tall.
The vet seems to think that he has a vertebrate pushing on his spinal cord. So, Hank's on an anti-inflammatory, a pain med, and a muscle relaxer. He goes back to the vet on 9/5 so he can be re-checked to see how he's doing.
If he's still having trouble walking then the vet will do x-rays and figure out what else to do from there for him.
As of right now, no playing, no going up/down steps, etc.... Not that he wants to move even to go potty. I mean...I've had to add things to his water to get him to drink but of course...being a Beagle...he hasn't lost his appetite. lol

Word of advice: Don't eat or drink before you go to the guild games for fun and make sure that you take a trip to the potty too. If you don't, just remember that you were warned. So, if you happen to choke on your food, spit out your drink, or have an "accident" while reading the hilarious stories then it's not the fault of the writers. You were warned. blaugh
