Odette looked at her master and she nodded her head "Thank you master" she said to him and bowed, she closed her eyes for a moment to think as she heard him get up, she knew a few names that she might be able to put forth already. When her master came back however Odette quickly stood up and nodded her head "Yes master" she whispered as she started to follow him, trying to get her brain to work slightly. She wasn't use to thinking for herself, all she had to do ever since she could remember was to think of what her masters wanted, but not this time.
Odette would follow her master to his study, looking at his back as she thought, it was only when they got to his study that she remembered "One of mistress Landon's women spoke a few months ago about a few things that could help, she said she wanted me to know because the 'sweet flower' (opium) was how Mistress Landon keep the brothel women in her dept, when I asked her why she would help me she said that if mistress landon took in another their would be less to go around" Odette said to him as she opened the door to his study for him, bowing her head once more "The courtesan suggested Clary Sage oil And raspberry leaves as a tea....I've never heard of Clary Sage oil, but the raspberry leaves should be very easy to come by right?" she asked him. Despite being a slave Odette was actually a little higher then average intelligence, she blinked a few times and looked up in confusion as she quickly moved the door so it was only open a crack "Master Achemetha, are all of your experiments still down below?" she asked, keeping her eyes open and trained on the closet door.

"Sickly little boys sometimes become powerful men." The man would simply nod to her when she thanked him, he headed ahead and didn't necessarily expect her to be so prepared for her trip. It wasn't like him to even accept things as such to happen, but this case could be an exception. Maybe his main fear was her knowing a little too much about his work and in much detail. With a quick glance at her as she followed him, he looked ahead, exhaling deeply as he walked ahead. The man would open the door to his study and begin to rummage through the vials he had kept in a drawer. He would give her an ear as he did, clearly used to multitasking. He glanced back only once to see her when she mentioned 'sweet flower'. That brothel owner seemed like trouble to bring up something with such a lucrative name. He shook his head a little and continued for his quest to find something useful in the stacks of poison that he carried. He found a small pack of roots that he took a good sniff off. It was just regular ginger he got from the lot of herbs he received from vendors at Zalto. He held it up to her as she asked him about some oil and he thought over it, nodding lightly. "You can ask the maids to help you, I've heard one of them is pretty good with flowers. For now, mix these seeds with some hot water and drink it up." he said to her, glancing over at the woman as he dusted his gloved hands from all the dust he had collected. His brows would knit together suspiciously when she asked him that question and he decided not to answer it for her. "You seem to be very curious today, who permitted you to ask all these questions?" he asked. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Odette nodded her head but she didn't take the roots "Sorry master, I do not mean to ask so many questions" she said as she took a few steps toward the closet despite the pain "I just ask because theirs a rat" she said, not out right saying that something was just behind the closet door. She stood in front of the closet and brought one of her hands forward while her other hand lifted the side of her skirt to show a leather garter with a small 2 inch blade. She took the blade and she opened the closet door only for her eyes to go wide "MASTER!" she yelped as she quickly turned around and tackled Keiron to the ground despite her tiny size.
She felt something score across her back and Odette let out a sharp cry of pain before she managed to twist slightly and launch the small blade at the assiliant, missing completely since she didn't have well enough aim, but she was able to see what it was before it bust though the door and slammed into the hallway wall before it started running down to corridor to wreck havoc upon the Achemetha mansion. Odette shivered slightly and turned even paler, weather it was from fear or from the fresh wound on her back adding to the bloodloss either was a possibility "M-master....how did a soulshredder get into the mansion" she whispered, she had only seen their pictures in books, the clingy paper white flesh the outline of every bone within its body, the pointy growths coming from each joint... the way its knees bent backward made ever inch of her crawl with fear, making her forget the wound she now had and that the blood from the slash mark upon her back was dripping onto her masters clothing as she didn't move from when she tackled him.

"Sickly little boys sometimes become powerful men." Keiron would look over at her as she spoke, holding up the roots for her and then back at the closet as she seemed to be fixed on the closet. He would glance over at her then at the closet door, something seeming odd now. He stood from his position now, carefully stepping closer to her when she would go closer to examine and his eye widened, his body falling to the ground with hers from the collision. That caught him offguard, the woman suddenly throwing him down but his eye quickly shifted to the closet to see what it was. The male would carefully get away from the woman, his eyes fixed on the door where the creature dashed out and a smirk slowly growing on his lips. He couldn't care less about what happened to his mansion as long as it wasn't going to destroy his home completely, but he wanted that creature in his collection. He would dust himself, glancing once to check if she was alright but he had to work fast. He couldn't lose her and the the creature at this. "Probably the smell of your blood, or the rotting body I threw away yesterday from one of my experiments...I would say the latter as most of the maids bleed too and this never happened before." he would say, helping her up now. Luckily one of the maids had run in after seeing the creature, terrified yet still a little calm to see if the two were alright. "Ah, good timing Amelia, take care of Odette's wound and keep her away from that thing, I've got some big fish to catch.." he would state, his shadows emitting out from under his feet to stretch out and look for the creature before he took off after it. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇
