"I think you will be wonderful your highness. Just be yourself and judge things the way your instincts tell you too." She murmured before holding her breath a moment at the mention of another question to be put forward. Hearing it she sighed and looked down at her cup. "I fell in love with him because he saw me as a normal girl and not some prize to be won. He didn't know I was a princess when we spoke for the first time nor did he realize I was the same girl he had seen in walking in the streets with Kaiden and mother a year ago. Neither of us spoke of our titles or of our royal blood, we simply talked of the weather and simple things like that. As time passed we got to know one another, but it was the winter ball that seemed to prove fate had drawn us together. After that I had been told by mother to visit Bellris and thank Roland for his aid at the event when things had gone sour, during that time I learnt of the flood that had happened here and he escorted me home, giving aid to my kingdom without a second thought. That was our first night as prince and princess in one another's eyes, so we spoke some more over a meal." She explained, pausing to sip her tea a moment and finally look up at the young woman. "That was the night I chose to lay with him for the first time and fate was kind enough to keep us from baring fruit. It was after that the war happened and we could only speak in letters, hiding our love in fear of it being rejected by our families. Once the war ended and we were able to see each once again my heart soared. In the end I snuck out of the castle in the dead of night, wanting to get away from the worry and tensions over not seeing father at the time. Well this time fate chose to give us a child and so here I am, unmarried, in love and waiting for the day when my mother and Aldon will either accept things or shun me. I made a mistake in letting my love control my judgement in the matter, but Roland and I truly want to be husband and wife." She said softly, though her tone held a little confidence. "Please don't say anything to your father about this though. I fear that it would cause more problems for Aldon then necessary if he were to find out."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Elentiya Drosselmeyer Elentiya smiled at Athena as she lifted her head again "That sounds like a good reason to fall in love she said to her but...and I know you didn't ask for it but I would like to say something" she said to Athena "From what I can understand you cant control love...which is why in my heart I am happy for you, and I feel that King Aldon and maybe the Queen are happy for you to...but as a Princess of Lionis I...I'm not that versed in politics but I know a little" Elentiya bit her lip slightly as she tried to find a way to word it "As a princess you have certain obligations to fulfil, but...I mean, you've been a princess longer then I have so..." Elentiya wiggled slightly and she sighed "That you and Roland would marry is great, but speaking from experience... my mother was the Emperor's wife for a time before he took the crown, but he caught her in bed with another man and had her beheaded..." Elentiya stopped "I never new her...so I don't say this out of wanting pity, I say this more because as royalty your child would be seen as a b*****d if its born before you are married to Roland...the life of a b*****d isn't a kind one. It hurts and its full of rejection, even if your family accepts the child other nobility wont... Your mother is right to be worried because it can effect not just her and Aldon but you and your child...whom has done nothing, can both suffer" Elentiya wiggled "I don't think that it was right for them to bar you from going to see him though..." Elentiya muttered "I...but the other thing is. Zalto is loyal to the Empire. As soon as I marry Aldon it will be set in stone. When Bellris pulled away from the Empire to create its republic they took most of the food that fed everyone into their hands as well, The Empire doesn't like Bellris and..." Elentiya looked at the ground again "My father isn't a nice man... Queen Valeska and King Aldon probably knew this while talking to you and didn't explain... but given any reason to do so he would go to war with Bellris. He killed Empress Catherine himself so it is known that he has no problem killing women, and if he where to do that.... logically... The republic would fall back to being a queendom... and if Lady Hysteria is dead and Roland falls... my father would use you and your child to take back Bellris... does this..." "Please don't take this the wrong way highness, but I'm not a simpleton and don't need you to explain things to me. I understand that this child will be a b*****d if born before Roland and I marry, but that is not something I can control. This child will come when ready, whether it is before or after marriage doesn't matter, so long as he or she is healthy. I also understand fully that mother and Aldon are happy for me in a sense as well as their concern for our safety. As for the nobility rejecting my child should he or she be a b*****d, so be it. I would give up royal life if needed just to raise my child in a loving home." She said before biting her lip a moment and looking down at her cup. "Believe me when I say this highness, I know all too well what your father is capable of, he is after all my uncle. The truth is though that Bellris being a republic doesn't matter to me, nor does it matter that Zalto is loyal to the empire. I realize that I cannot be loyal to both the republic and the empire at the same time, that is not the point. I can be loyal to Roland though and stand by him when needed, at the same time I can lean his ear towards things that may help keep the peace too. Your father does frighten me and I wouldn't give him the reason to wage war on Bellris if possible, another reason for my request despite not saying so at that moment. Granted should what you've said come along, your father would be sorely disappointed. I am the daughter of Arthur and Velaska Llewellyn, and wouldn't willingly become a pawn before ensuring that Roland's people were looked after. Nor would I so easily be controlled by him either." She murmured before looking up at Elentiya and giving a small smile that held a little mischief behind it. "I understand all too well where Aldon's anger came from. I'm his little sister, the baby of the family. He both feels like a failure and fears for my safety. I'm unmarried, young and with child. Should news reach the ears of those in the city who feel that Roland was behind fathers death, they may riot or cause me harm in revenge. Should the news reach your father, the events you've mentioned may come to pass, among others maybe. As my eldest brother, he thinks that he didn't protect me from a wolf in sheep's clothing and worries that I've been used for simple amusement, only to be left by the way side with the child." She stated before breathing a soft sigh and shaking her head. "It doesn't really matter now any way. What's done is done and there is no going back. I do appreciate your point of view on the matter though highness. You may just know more about my brother than you realize. That being said, I do apologize for throwing a kink in the planning of your wedding to Aldon. I know it has a deadline that needs to be met."

He wants power in Bellris and if he thinks that by controlling you he will manage to get it he will. It wont matter how strong you are, whos blood runs though your body, my father is a monster, he will use everything against you even things you think that are going in your favor will be taken away... "In truth this whole thing has me very frightened, anything could happen to cause strife. Thing such as Aldon not finding Roland worthy of my hand, war breaking out between kingdoms... I don't even know if raising a child is something I'll be capable of, or if I will have my beloved with me to help. So one small step at a time would be best." She mumbled before giving Elentiya a quizzical look as the princess pulled out a mirror shard on a chain. "That is an interesting ideal, but would that not go against everything one is taught to believe before entering the church? A-and you don't need to give me your charm, we are to be sisters soon. As such giving one another advice and showing concern is normal. Plus you may come to need that shard while married to Aldon, so please keep it for your own child, if you have any." She murmured before glancing over to Sarah, who has been unusually quiet since the princess came into the room. "Speaking of your marriage to my brother princess Elentiya, we will be needing to find your dress eventually. Sarah here knows some lovely shops in the city where you might find something you like. Of course I'll be unable to help unless Aldon grants me permission to leave the castle, which probably won't be likely."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Elentiya Drosselmeyer Elentiya blushed slightly as she put the chain and mirror shard back into her pocket "The church is not widely accepted, but its message is a good one" she said to her "It is one of self love and kindness, treating others as you would yourself, and to serve yourself and to help others that may have been forgotten by the gods... a decency in helping everyone not just those in one kingdom or another but in helping everyone from all kingdoms and a happiness brought about by learning of how precious life is and how different each life is" Elentiya said with a smile "Even though the church is underground they give alms to the poor and help those in need even though it could end with their own death...I have, I have wanted to join the church but my duties as princess, and soon Queen here...I could do a lot more here" Elentiya said to her as she put the pendant in her pocket "ah... the wedding... Even if you can not come with me I would like you to attend the wedding, and... If I can I would like to invite Roland, to foster good will with Bellris... and maybe persuade Aldon into letting you have a wedding on your own?" she said, giggling slightly $1000ec

What could she really say or do to change anything that was going on here in Athena's bed room. Not only did both princesses out rank the maid but they were to be family soon. What they needed to say to one another is what they needed to say. Sarah wasn't going to stop Princess Elentiya's option giving but if she had said something too far out of line the head maid would have said something. Sarah could hear where Elentiya was coming from for she herself was a child born outside of wedlock. There were dangers of having a child in thous conditions and though Sarah's father was only a spy the threat upon loved ones is a good person's true weakness. Princess Elentiya hath shown the maid a part of her nature and Sarah could safely say she liked it. Aldon had been lucky to have found Elentiya for the head maid couldn't see the emperor's daughters being as kind as Elentiya. "My, you are quite different than what I pictured you to be." Blurted out the maid just after the calm, leaving her blushing from noticing how random she might have come across to Princess Elentiya. "I mean, I had heard little about your siblings, Princess Elentiya, but from what has been whispered of your father, well...after what you've said you are a far cry from being as scary as the rest for your family." Scary being a word for it. "How dose your family feel about you being betrothed to the how King Aldon? I-if you don't mind me asking that it." The maid nervously asks Princess Elentiya before then tugging at the end of her dress with worry and waiting to see how Elentiya will react.

Or is that just me?...Athena quietly sipped her tea as she listened to Elentiya talk about the churches ideals, a small smile soon showing on her lips. Aldon really had chosen well and would have a good queen by his side, it was a relief of sorts, though she wished he could have fallen in love like Kaiden and herself had done. "Well perhaps Aldon will allow me to join you dress shopping once while I can still hide my condition. If not however I'm certain he would allow me to attend the wedding, he is after all my brother and would hopefully wish me there to see his day. Inviting Roland to your wedding might be easier said than done highness, after what I have just told them I don't think Aldon trusts Roland any more." She murmured in a saddened tone before giggling a little. "As for a wedding of my own, it will all come down to the meeting Aldon has with Roland. If it goes well he and I might marry within days of the meeting, but if it goes poorly then he and I will be forbidden to marry. If that were to happen then I don't know what the future would bring. Would I be happy with just the child? Would I be shunned and rejected by those closest to me once this child is born? Will he or she be taken from me in order to be kept hidden while I am sent off to marry the first man my brother deems worthy?" She said before breathing a soft sigh. "Those questions and more have gone through my mind since realizing my situation, the uncertainty is frightening." She cooed before giggling at Sarah's comments. "Always so straight forward."

"Maybe he will be kind enough to allow it, but with how angry he was I don't think he will be persuaded. In truth I would love to come with you and help you pick the dress, but after the news I gave this morning, there is no way I'll be able to ask permission to join you." As straightforward as ever but as clumsy as ever as well. Elentiya expressed the obvious that her father, Azazel Drosselmeyer, was content with Princess Elentiya's chosen husband, making Sarah feel silly for even asking such a question. But the reminder of Princess Esther having come over that day with Princess Elentiya had Sarah shiver ever so slightly. There was a chilling air around Esther when she had smiled at Sarah when passing for a brief moment and that charming smile of the princess was something Sarah wasn't going to forget. Esther is extremely beautiful but it is as though her beauty is shared with sirens that will charm you into your own doom. "Zalto fashion is more flashy than it is rigid." Sarah says, agreeing with her princess. "Athena would totally be able to help you with dresses since she has an eye for beauty herself. After all, look at what she's wearing." A royal blue dress dyed in fine silk and lined with glinting charm that only enhance what the woman already brings as her own charm. "You should check out her closet too. You could mix and match for days!" Sarah says teasingly, just to get her pampered princess to blush. "Hey, I just had a great idea!" Sarah chimes after drinking down then last drop of her tea; Slight steam still rising from the teapot on the near by small table. "Why don't you and I ask Aldon permission to have Athena escort you into town to shop for a dress?" Sarah asks Princess Elentiya with eyes bright of hope. "I'm sure he'll be more willing if it were you to ask him. Besides, men like a woman who try to be voices of peace in this world that gives them much stress. After all how can your husband deny you something so soon." Sarah shoots her a playful wink and feels that if Elentiya uses her kind nature to speak with Aldon she can be the music that calms the savage beast that dwell with men. Hopefully Elentiya would be willing to try, and Sarah already said she'd go with her to ask as well; To provide moral support and add another voice of plea if need be.

There was to be a festival held and she was hoping to go see it, but getting the permission to do so was a different story. Of course she had remained within the castle grounds for the full month after talking with her family, and was now feeling a little stifled. Thankfully at two months pregnant she was only starting to show and could still easily hide her condition, but there was still the risk of others finding out. She had yet to have the talk with Aldon that he wanted to have, but that was most likely due to his busy schedule as king. The hope was to get it done and over with, but at the moment she would wait. She also wondered if Roland had managed to read the letter she had sent to him, hoping that Aldon wanting to speak with him wasn't scaring him off.
There was a quick sharp bark from dear little Snowy, earning a giggle from her. "Yes I know, you want attention and played with. How about you get me one of those ball things that had been made for you? That way I can toss it and you can chase it." She murmured, earning another sharp bark from her darling pet.

"I should go find out where I can be useful, if Aldon will let me do anything that is." She murmured softly earning a snort from the pure white chihuahua and giggling a little. She truthfully felt as though she wouldn't be allowed to help in her condition, but there was a least the hope of being able to do something along side either her brother or his soon to be wife.

It was doubtful Athena would be spared the interruption of the clamour either, despite how neatly tucked away her room was. If anything, the pooch would probably notice something. Regardless, a rattling knocking came to the door within moments of that kerfuffle downstairs.
