Oh no, not bots again. He thought he was done with bots, after he helped take down those annoying bureaucratic bots that went haywire in the main hub. Lanata charged at them, only to be winded by the bots as they linked their arms and ricocheted a third bot at her. She shook her head, her horns getting crumpled by all this fighting she'd been doing. Poe gasped and tried to help her, only to get winded himself by more bots. He fell on his butt and coughed, trying to catch his breath again. That really hurt...

Maybe she needed to tone it down a little. There were kids around-- Not around them quite yet but she assumed that the must have been somewhere around there, ya know. Kids were like flies, always went where they were supposed to. Like her. Then again, these kids seemed a little more mature than most, and that kept Forera on edge. What if they realized she and her pals weren't government supporting, queen kissing, money grubbing idiots like they were? Then again, from the trolls she had met the past few nights, not... not all of them were so bad. Boss Attack
The corridor ahead has floor tiles that glow with a light emitting from under them. There are blue-hued tiles, red-hued, yellow-hued, teal .. why the entire hemospectrum is on display! How pretty. What a nice decoration.
If you rolled a 1, you step onto a red tile, which shoots up a sheat of hot flame. Running around, you eventually manage to put out your jumpsuit which, thankfully, is flame retardant. Take 5 dmg.
If you rolled a 2, you step on a yellow tile and are promptly thrown off it by the nasty electric jolt it gives you. Your hair is now incredible. Take 4 dmg.
If you rolled a 3, you step on a blue tile and the ceiling above you slams down onto your head, retreating slowly back up afterwards, leaving the innards of it's mechanisms exposed.Take 4 dmg, and deal +2 dmg.
If you rolled a 4, you step onto a green tile, which slides back, revealing the inner workings of the machine, and two large blades that scythe up towards the soles of your shoes. Take 3 dmg, and deal +2 dmg.
If you rolled a 5, you step on a purple tile, and the ceiling above you opens, dumping enough seawater and irate snipperbeasts on you to make you stagger to your knees, spitting water. Thankfully, it also seems to damage the mechanism in the floor, which begins to emit some smoke. Take 3 dmg, and deal +2 dmg.
If you rolled a 6, you step on an orange tile, and the ceiling above opens to dump a bunch of fruit on your head. Take 3 dmg. The fruit bounces off your shoulders and onto the tiles, which begin to hiss and crackle from the acidic juices. Your attack does double damage.
Rastin Morden is ATTACKING and going RIGHT. Thankfully, it also seems to damage the mechanism in the floor, which begins to emit some smoke. Take 3 dmg, and deal +2 dmg.
Rastin held his cloak up as he ran as best he could, but really all he wanted at this point was a clip so he could hold it together. All grumpiness about his choice of clothing for this event aside, the teenager was relieved to see a room that looked as nice as this one did. Colorful tiles, good spacing, he had to pause for a moment to linger upon it.
However, when someone in front of him stepped on a tile and got electrocuted, he didn't find it quite so charming anymore.
"A trap floor? You're kidding me!" He gasped, raising his hands to his face and shaking his head. "This has got to be the worst day of my life!"
But fate only seemed to want to make it get worse, as his foot triggered a purple tile close to the wall and the ceiling poured a barrel of water and snapperbeasts upon his head! He screamed, kicked around, and shook those disgusting fish off of him, before rushing to catch up with the rest of the group. It was much harder to hold his cloak than when he arrived, though, the water had soaked into the cloak and made it two times heavier! What a nightmare!

Caiden watched from a little ways off as the trolls around him proceeded to be awesome and attack things. Caiden shifted from foot to foot, looking at the building's walls. It was a nice building, it was a shame the thing was trying to attack everyone. Maybe it just needed a nice talking to? Caiden ruffled through his bad and pulled out one of the mealworm muffins his dad had made for him. The boy looked around, there really wasn't anyway to give the building the gift, and, Forera was looking a little tired. In between the tealblood's attacks Caiden offered her the muffin with a big smile.
If you rolled a 3, you step on a blue tile and the ceiling above you slams down onto your head, retreating slowly back up afterwards, leaving the innards of it's mechanisms exposed.Take 4 dmg, and deal +2 dmg.
Merely glancing at the greenblood that'd joined their party, the tealblood offered a quick wave in her direction, allowing Luxara to respond for her. She seemed promising and eager to help, and Forera was definitely not against that!
At last, they were at a new intersection. This time, however, it seemed there were a ton of tiles on the floor? Judging from the trolls that ran ahead her, all the tiles must've been attributed to something. She carefully walked onto a blue tile, and a hard SLAM wrecked her head. It took her a moment to compose herself almost stepping onto a red tile in the process before blinking away the dizzy and looking up. It was still going up, and-- It was showing an opening! Forera grabbed at anything she could in there, wrenching and wrecking anything in the way of her hands.
After finding the path through and yelling STEP ON THE TEAL TILES back at her group, the tealblood was suddenly almost face first with a muffin. She blinked at it for a second, looked up to the offerer and realized it was Caiden. She took it easily and peeled off the wrapped before shoving the entire thing in her mouth, munching a little, and gulping it down. "Thanks! Needed that. Let's keep goin'!" No more bots for now, Luxara realized, relieved at the thought. But there had to be some kind of replacement mechanism eventually. Rera took the lead, Luxara following after while also trying to keep an eye on Etsali. Was that Caiden kid still there? Yeah? Cool. The group was getting a bit big, full of non-rebel trolls. Par for the course, but Luxara didn't feel obligated to keep track of them as much as she did her own.
They found themselves rushing towards a colorful hallway. Luxara watched Rera hop on bravely, with Luxara herself not far behind. She landed on a couple of safe tiles, but misjudged blue for teal in the rainbow blur. She got smacked, well and good for it. Disorienting, but not the worst. Luxara looked up, rubbing a bump on the side of her temple, noting how slowly the ceiling was retreating. She hopped up, grabbing some wires, and pulled them out with her weight. She hopped onto a couple of more teal tiles before catching up with Caiden and Forera.
The younger kid had food! Yooo! "I hope you have enough for the whole party," she stated with a laugh. No time to eat now, but maybe later.

Crowma is attacking and her and Ri are going up
An older troll had addressed Ri when she had arrived. She was a little surprised, but all too excited to be spoken to like an adult, by an adult. Though of course she'd never show it. Rianon recognized this one, she was the one messing with that blueblood girl who had said some interesting stuff, but was overall dismissive. Wait...that was her moving along with the group too wasn't it? The witch was finally getting situated with the others as her and Crowma followed along up ahead. "Thanks for the tips. Ya sure look like you've done this rodeo before." she responded, proud that Crowma was fairing so well thus far. The lusus was still struggling with that latcher on kidbot. When Ri looked down and locked eyes with it a strange shiver went up her spine. Horrid little things. "Lookout Crowma!" Ri said, catching sight of a blue tile moving on the ceiling in her peripheries. The lusus was able to raise a wing to stop part of it, still taking a beating but able to swing her vines from the other wing at it at the same time. With a sigh of relief, Ri turned back to the gaggle of trolls she found herself in. "If anyone's feels a little worse for ware, give a holler. I can help fix ya up," she called out, clutching the little bottle around her neck.

Kolako dealt 2 damage. Kolako is moving RIGHT.
The blueguy spoke, and Kolako giggled, offering him a small, excited wave. "I'm Kolako! And there behind us is my lusus, Papion!" She grinned even wider at his words, releasing a small giggle at his response. "Wild?" Didn't that mean from the forest or something? Kolako didn't know if it was good or bad, but she judged that his smile probably meant it was good. "I can be wild!! Nono, yo soy wild, I am really wild, wild is mee!" She was a lot more excited now, having been distracted long enough to not think long enough about their current situation. Looking up at Mera, Kolako shook her head eagerly. "Nah, I'm okay! But I think it'd be better if I hung onto your back, that way you can see what's in front of you!" Kolako blinked-- "Or I could just walk, y'know! Either is fine, I can be really very fast when I want to be!"
Catching up behind them was Papion, having joined them but-- As he was too big and walked too fast, the lusus ended up walking directly into the tile maze, paw falling on a red tile. Kolako only watched as Papi was burned alive, and Koko couldn't help releasing a loud screech as she saw him get hurt. He shook it off as if it was nothing, but Kolako knew. She frowned deeply. "Why are there so many harmful puzzles...?"

It figured that the second Sascha left the premises everything would go straight to s**t. It was almost flattering.
The courtyard-esque space surrounding the base of the elevator was abuzz with frantic trolls trying to do damage control without getting caught in the crossfire. Perhaps it was because Sascha wasn't a technologically-minded troll, but it didn't look like the crowd was getting much done. If being outside wasn't solving the problem, then clearly inside the elevator was the place to be. Without a second thought, Sascha tossed his empty paper cup aside and charged right into the thick of it.
The guards corralling the chaos seemed a little too relieved to have more trolls funneling themselves into the fray. If Sascha hadn't realized it then, he was quick to learn this wasn't a glamorous job he'd thrown himself into. When was it ever, though?
For all the construction sites Sascha had infiltrated, this was the only one that involved being doused in seawater. Being in the middle of the desert wasn't even the half of it, as Sascha tore toothy little fish off the edges of his jumpsuit. Part of him regretted running blindly into combat with a skyscraper, but the majority was immediately dead set on petty revenge. The fate of the space program was one thing, but this was just rude. Sascha made sure to punch in the tile he'd stepped on as he pulled himself up up off the floor.
Leeroi shot the redblood a friendly wink. "Leeroi!" He introduced himself, and then turned back to the task at hand. Seemed like they were face to face with a giant puzzle trap.
Stepping on one of the purple tiles, Leeroi stopped in a flash of momentary confusion. Saltwater poured out from above him, as well as some irate snapperfish, but Leeroi hardly realized this as a punishment. A cooldown was more than welcome right now. So he had to pluck off a few puny fish off his suit, who cared.
Shaking off the excess water, Leeroi slicked his hair back out of his face. Laughing, he shot a look over his shoulder to check on Hemera and Kolako. "You guys doing alright back there?" He asked sincerely.
He hadn't even noticed that his robot arm started sputtering and sparking.
This would be kind of neat if it wasn't trying to kill him. Poe peered out at the lighting up panels, and saw a green one. He felt compelled to step on it, and did so. When he did, the tile slid back, revealing the inner workings. He saw all these little machinery things, that Tierte would have liked. He almost wished she was here! Avoiding the blades that appeared, Lanata gracefully stepped on the inner machine bits that were exposed, trying to destroy the panel so it would be safe for another troll to pass. The green tile wasn't so bad, all in all! Good color, good trap.
Poe dealt 4 damage to the Defense AI He is going RIGHT!
"Mmmm." Hemera stared down the tile puzzle herself. A very odd defense mechanism, she had to admit. She watched Leeroi go first. The blueblood was predictable, and made for an easy observation method. However, it was one tile per troll, and she wasn't about to make him test them all. This was supposed to keep trolls out, after all.
She furrowed her brows at the result. Water. Just water? Odd. "Don't ingest it." she said, though she wasn't even sure if it should touch his skin. If anything, she wasn't about to touch any of it.
Her turn. Going by what would be a quick jump across, Hemera stepped on a red tile. Soon, there was fire at her feet. She shrieked, continued her second jump, then rolled on the floor until it was out. After a harried moment, she got up, adjusted her glasses, and made sure her hair wasn't too out of place.
"That was more of what I expected." She tried to sound unaffected, but her voice cracked a little. "Anyway." Hemera pointed at Leeroi's arm. "I believe you might have failed to waterproof your prosthetic."

Caiden took a break, plopping his butt on the hard floor. He knew he would disappoint the greenblooded adult. She seemed really harsh, but also maybe she thought Caiden could really do something. The orangeblood just was not sure. Sitting against the wall for a minute to catch his breath, the orangeblood rifled through his bag again, pondering the greenblood and her words. He pulled out a mealworm muffin, one of CamoDad's specialties, and proceeded to bite into it. The boy smiled as he enjoyed the soft fluffy muffin. The mealworms were a little crunchy, but that just added to the overall flavor of it all.
