There was a hesitance in followthrough with the order. Slowly but surely Orynoko climbed over the rail. His gloved hands hid his skin turning white from how strong his grip was on the wood just in case Vanu got cute and decided to push him. It took everything for the human to not roll his eyes at the simple instructions being barked at him. Really Vanu wasn't barking at all but to Orynoko everything was going to be taken out of context and blown out of reality to make this man seem like the monster he remembered. In such a sour mood, Orynoko put out his hand for the bucket Vanu mentioned. A wicked idea came to mind and suddenly that pout turned into a cocky smirk.Oh no! Caelum looked between Orynoko, the ropes and Vanu and became immediately worried. While the First Mate made such intentions known, this tiri understood the heart too well and with what Orynoko had in mind he ran over to the railing and pleaded, "Please don't do that! Remember, this guy has your ropes! If you do that, he'll drop you into the ocean!" He then looked back at Vanu as if he were as sad as he could be, ears drooping. Vanu caught the smirk, instantly addressing it. " Boy, do you really want me to drop your rear in the ocean? Take the bucket and do the task assigned to you for crying out loud. Why does everything with you have to be a struggle. Did you ever think you might actually be happier if you actually listened?" Vanu groaned shaking his head. He looked at the astral, " Don't look at me like that, not my fault he is a situational idiot." He handed the Astral the bucket, " Here you give it to him while I take the ropes instead. Gives him less chance to be a idiot."

Vanu's warning did little to make that smirk disappear. If anything he almost gained a sly look on his face. There were sparkles of joy in his eyes as he heard of the complaint the First Mate held against him. There was a soundless burst of laughter motion from Orynoko at Vanu's suggestion. Him? Happier listening to this murderous fish? That was a good one.Caelum sighed and took the bucket giving one last pleading gaze to Vanu before turning back to Orynoko and offering the bucket. "Please don't do what you are planning. Please, Orynoko!"

Vanu rolled his eyes at the gestures of the man. His attention turned to the ropes as he took them up, kneeling down all the while keeping an eye on the man from under his hair. He saw that the astral still had the bucket. "Well aren't you going to take your tools? Or you just gonna let your friend hold them for you?" He could tell there was something going though the man's head, likely infuriating.

There was a wild grin flashed to Vanu for his impatience. This would be good. He took the bucket of tools from his astral and gave a nod to Vanu. He was ready to proceed and for his plan to start.Caelum curled up at the railing, looking absolutely scared and miserable. There was no saving his companion from his fate and whats more he had to trust that the NIvasi Halfbreed wouldn't kill him. That was a tall order for what was in store.

Vanu knew this man all too well in the years of being stuck on a ship with him. There was plan in him, and it made Vanu cautious. That grin was a dead give away, as wall as the astral's behavior. "You should really rethink what ever you plan to do, considering who I am." Vanu gave him a leer. He had the ropes in his hands.

It was a vicious cycle that Orynoko never learned any better from. He would construct a plot or ploy to get on Vanu's bad side, and get some sort of punishment for it but that didn't matter to the pirate. He enjoyed what little he could do to get under that man's skin. The warning did as much good as it usually did for someone as stubborn as Orynoko could be: Very little. That grin continued to be as bright and almost mocking as ever as he awaited to be lowered down.There was so little the astral could do. He let out a small huff and sighed. How stupid emotions could be to humans. All for a vendetta against the man who committed the crime so many years ago. Then again Caelum understood that it was something beyond his understanding. He did know of the pain Orynoko felt in his heart for his lost family. However, he also understood that doing stupid things like this would only serve to hurt the human in the present.

Vanu lowered the man down over the side and grabbed a large barrel from the starboard side, and tied the ropes to it. It was enough weight to hold the man in place while he worked at that part of the ship. That and it kept him form being on the direct end of the ropes, all he had to do was move the barrel around. "Let me know when you finish that section, and I will move the ropes over for you get to the other section." He called over the side.

Just as Orynoko wanted. Now was the time! As he was being lowered, he struck. He made it as flashy as possible for being condemned to silence, kissing his hand then blowing it at Vanu, giving him a wink and a wave as he was slipping down the side. HAH! Let him have an 'air kiss' from a human. Triumphantly he grinned.Caelum moved to his hooves and watched Vanu cautiously. Would this be the day he actually dropped Orynoko overboard? He couldn't really blame him.

Vanu growled under his breath, and looked to the astral, " Watch the barrel I will be back. If it moves your human might die." He dismissed himself down to the galley and grabbed a bucket of freshly done fish guttings. The Cook eyed him suspiciously, "Its a gift for a brat." The Cook shook his head and gave him a dismissive hand gesture, the sooner he was out of the kitchen area the better. Vanu walked to the side and dropped the contents of the bucket on to Orynoko down below.

The tiri looked at Vanu in sheer horror. Where was he going?! Was he going to cut him loose? That couldn't be since he asked him to watch the barrel. He did as Vanu asked but was incredibly confused as he watched the man come back with a bucket with something foul smelling. What was he going to do?HAH! He got away with it! Triumphantly he dangled but noticed he had stopped moving. Perhaps he had actually killed Vanu with his display of affections. His entire face lit up at the thought. He cocked his head up to laugh when he just happened to only catch a glimpse of the discarded fih entrails and from the wrying ropes on deck it was MORE than clear Vanu had beautiful aim. It took everything in his power to not scream but he did try to take one of the fish heads now stuck in his once black hair and toss it as hard as he could back at Vanu in defiance. UGH he would get it when he got back up on deck!

"You had that coming and you know it." Vanu dodged the fish head that came flying back up at him. "Perhaps if you weren't such a pain in the arse, I wouldn't have dumped a bucket of chum on you. Maybe once we are done here, I will let you take a bath in the ocean." Vanu practically promised, " Can't have you coming back on ship a mess like that." Vanu looked to Orynoko's astral, "See I didn't kill your human, now he just smells like low-tide." Truth was he planned to also pour a bucket of soapy water on the man before he came back up. He was serious about not letting him up like that. The Captain would kill'em both.

Orynoko was practically seething with hate for Vanu. He took the slop he had on him and smeared it with a sneer at Vanu against the side of the ship. Let him come down here and wash it off himself! At the the talk about letting him come on the ship like this he flipped him off and hatched a new devious plan. He was going to tattle on Vanu the minute he was back on deck. What had been a confident glowing man was back to a sour sap but now a smelly fishy sour sap.

"Aren't you supposed to be doing a duty down there, like removing barnacles hop to it." Vanu light-heartedly commanded. Pushing the barrel to the edge to put Orynoko at the right level to get to work. "Let me know when you finish so I can move the ropes over so you can get the second half." He called over and started to prep the bucket of soapy water, for when the man was about to come up.

Again now with the other hand, Orynoko flipped him off and glared at him with seething hate. He got to work removing barnacles since he was stuck there and couldn't really do anything else. Oh when he got back on deck that fishman was going to get in so much trouble with the Captain! The good news was that at least he was a fast worker. How was he supposed to let Vanu know without the use of his voice?! He used the bond between him and Caelum to ask Vanu to move him.The tiri had curled up a little amused by all the plans Orynoko was hatching. At least his companion was an industrious mind. He could feel the plan to mess with Vanu's hammock later when he got Ory's message. He walked over to Vanu and pawed at the ground to get his attention then motioned to the railing where his human dangled.
