Once everything was set and whatnot, Shun seated himself. He let out a low grunt in response to Chel, then started to quietly eat.

Chel imitated the grunt and then swallowed a huge spoonful back.
She chewed quietly for a while then said, "Yer really not afraid of none of it?"

Shun gave an impassive shrug in response to Chel's question while he continued to eat.
"I know it is dangerous. Incredibly dangerous. And I plan on handling it with caution."

"Yeah, yeah," she said, waving her hand. "I get it, yer doin' yer duty and all that." She wasn't interested in his speeches about responsibility.
"What you think yer gonna get out of this?"

"Mm. Satisfaction of a job done good, then." She put more of the food in her mouth, contemplating the answer. Maybe they weren't so different after all.

Shun shrugged, then continued to eat. He wasn't too interested in diving deeply into this topic.

"Man ******** you. Yer too cool," she told him, finishing her food finally. She stood up to take her dish over to the sink where she'd often seen him do the same. "Gonna freeze ya a** one day."

Finishing up his food, he went and carried his dirty dish over to the sink as well.
"My a** will be fine," he replied dismissively.

She had left her dishes in the sink and was now leaning against the counter it sat on. Chel was very used to Chris doing all her dishes; if asked she would help, but she was a bit of a mess.
"Alright, alright. You win cool guy." She waited for him to finish and give her a sign as to if she was needed further or if she should leave. It was probably the latter but she was still someone that relied on social cues.

After the dishes were done, Shun placed everything onto the drying rack, then turned to Chel.
"Are you done here, then?"
