"Yeah. I've only been Below for a little while. I still need to adjust, I guess." She laughed slightly, and smiled at her seat mate. "It's just really different from home. I guess both are probably good. But I really miss Above."

The Dryad had also noticed the group in front of them with the camera. She smiled a little wider when she heard Nashira ask them for a photo. "Such a good idea!"

She beamed at her seat mate, and leaned in to create a standard photo pose. Once the shot had been snapped, she inspected the Nightmare who'd taken the shot a little more closely. "Thanks for the snap! I'm Nadinia, by the way. Want a candy?" She stuck her arm over the seat, offering a treat to Zahneel.

Keeping a ear tuned in to the general conversation, she turned to Neptune. "Oooh, I really like your idea! Then we can always remember the carriage and everything!"

She turned back to Nashira, beaming, "Isn't his idea so good?"

The Dryad was feeling a great deal better, now that there were things to distract her.

"Okay Dun." Index drawled, deliberately ignoring Fidel's pleas to use his own name. "And yes. I do."

He reached over to pluck a loose scale with the claw on his finger and thumb and to eye it curiously "I mean, I've not had to heal anyone or anything, but it's something that I guess in theory I could do. If it came down to it." In truth he preferred the theory side of things. His aspirations lay less in working hands on and more in maybe the realm of autopsy, dissection and cataloguing healing magic and data.

"What does a dusty fae do for a living?" he asked.

"Fidel," he insisted, more firmly, and then, "...Business. I'm studying business. I plan on working in the finance sector." And spend even more time indoors.

But...on this trip...

Index had the window seat. But he could still see faintly into the bright.

"I'm loooking forward to...whatever activities our supervisors have planned."

Tambre noticed the hesitation, and she couldn't help but frown. She had warned her that she wasn't good with small talk, but she couldn't help but feel like she had overstepped her bounds. She shifted in her seat and offered a small smile, "You said you're confident in the things you're comfortable with? What do you like to do?" She hoped that eased some of the previous tension without fully focusing on where the conversation had dwindled.

Tambre gave a quick nod and for a brief moment, she almost seemed vulnerable. It was a look that she quickly did away with. She didn't like to think about being in big crowds of people or forcing herself to get along with them. In her experience, people were collectively terrible and self-serving. However, it was her fault for deciding to come and be apart of something like this, so it was something she'd make the most of. "That's the way I look at it." She put on a smile, even if it was slightly forced because of her own insecurities. "Perhaps we'll both be able to meet people and make some friends."

It didn't take much for Tambre to believe that the girl wasn't an angel, most people weren't, and for the most part Tambre did think the worst of people until she was proven differently. That was something she was trying to change, but with how badly she had been hurt in the past, it was hard to break. "Honestly, I don't think anyone is truly an angel. Everyone has something they hide. But still, it's admirable that you want to help people, just be careful that people don't take advantage of that."

Bridgette frowned feeling bad she had made Tambre uncomfortable. She always seemed to do that. She forced herself to shake t off. If she dwelt on it all that would happen is this conversation would just go into a downward spiral of badness. She shook her head and smiled back at the small smile. She tilted her head as she thought about make she was good at. Well I'm good at making things. I'm good at figuring out how things work and how to make them work better. Stuff like that. It makes me happy to find out how something works and to be able to help it work better." She smiled as she talked and looked over.

She frowned as she saw the look on Tambre's face. Was that vulnerability? She didn't know if it was for sure but wished she could fix it if it was. She didn't want her seat mate to be upset and she would feel terrible if it was her own fault. She nodded her head as she thought about what she could do to help Tambre. She chewed on her cheek more as she thought. "Well maybe we have both already made one friend. I'd like to be your friend if you would let me be. If not I understand but maybe?" She hoped Tambre would want to be friends. She already respected her a lot for being so honest and for also protecting people. It wasn't the strongest foundation for a friendship but maybe as the trip went on it could be stronger. She smiled hoping she could make the smile on Tambre's face not be so forced.

Bridgette tilted her head again as she listened and pushed her hair back again as the firerie mane tumbled forward. She nodded her head and thought about what to say to all that. "Yes people tend to have something to hide but I think people can surprise you and be kinder than thought. I think most people can be good if they want to and many want to. It's just sad that the not so nice ones taint the view for everyone." She laughed and shook her head. "Most people are so ready to assume I'm some thug or something scary they don't get close enough to try to take advantage. I guess that's one positive about how I look. Who would think a lady in leather with a face like mine would help you" no I tend to help most when I see something bad happening. But thank you for your concern. It's nice and refreshing." She smiled more and pushed her hair back again.

Aurora smiled. "Seems like we have that in common, the joy of writing, do you like reading as well??" Aurora noticed a nixie with their head down writing. "Seems some others enjoying writing as well." Aurora gestured to get the nixie's attention and said. "Hi I'm Aurora, would you like to join Clyde and I??" Then she turned to Clyde and said. "If you don't mind of course." Aurora said warmly. Aurora grinned and said. "An active imagination is a sign of a creative mind, and good for making stories." Aurora really loved writing and reading new stories. Aurora choked her head to the side and said "Military or writing, those are quite different from one another. What makes you say milatary??" Aurora asked curiously. Aurora smiled again and then said "Thank you." Aurora nodded "I was bouncing on my paws waiting for it to be time to get on the bus."

The way that Bibi was always super literal with everything just made the grimm laugh to himself. It was just too funny to him. Shaking his head, Ghester snuck his arm around her shoulders as she sat next to him. This was their first trip together and he couldn't be more excited to have her sitting next to him the entire ride! he tried his best to have an innocent look on his face, but who knows if he pulled it off. "Hey... Do we have any snacks for the ride?" he asked as he realized he left everything of his under the bus. Crap.

Ah well. Even if they didn't have something to snack on, the ride was bound to be freakin' awesome. "Man... I'm so freakin' psyched for this! What about you, Pinkie? Whadya think we'll find when we get there? Maybe some sort of monsters or something like that! That would be freakin' awesome."

Divone quickly pulled her luggage behind her as she made her way to the bus. She was running a bit behind, pretty much because of her older sister doting on her and double checking that she had everything. The hybrid gave a soft, though happy sigh that she had made it on time. Sliding herself into a seat, she pushed her bag beneath her chair.

Forbidden forest, huh? This was going to be an interesting adventure, though she wasn't quite sure how she was supposed to get a conversation started with the people around her. It seemed as though she had missed some of the first introductions.
