Yui and Tori, as well as resuming Art and Tamaki, p.14733Silver Angel Yui: *drawn out by Tori's brilliantly colored plumage* surprised *reaches out to touch the tailfeathers with her fin*Cereza del Chocolate Tori: *squeaks and looks at the beta* Well, hello! *grins* Silver Angel Yui: *smiles back curiously, mesmerized by the tailfeathers floating in the water* Hello... *lifts her head to look the Beta in the eye* Ah... I'm Yui.Cereza del Chocolate Tori: *brushes his fingers through his feathery mane* Tori. Pleasure to meet you. *wiggles his tail feathers* I see I've caught your eye with these. Silver Angel Yui: *looks surprised* Ah... I guess that's so... *smiles a little self-consciously* The colors... they're so pretty....Cereza del Chocolate Tori: Really? Well thank you. *plucks a feather from his tail* Here, for you. Silver Angel Yui: *gasps a bit at the unexpected gift* Oh... thank you! *takes the feather gently between her fins and strokes the fibers carefully, watching the iridescent greens shift in the light* I didn't mean any trouble... it didn't hurt, did it?Cereza del Chocolate Tori: *laughs* No problem at all. It's like hair, eventually it'll fall off and grow back. This one was loose. So, it didn't hurt at all. *ruffles his feathers* Silver Angel Tamaki's curiosity gets the better of him, as it always does, and he slowly swims around behind Art to peer at her work from behind her shoulder. Upon seeing the makings of his own portrait, he smiles. "My, and you have a gift as well. I suppose it's only to be expected from the embodiment of art." He chuckles softly. Yui: Oh, really...? *tips her head to the side as she looks at Tori* That's interesting... I've never had feathers, so I wouldn't have known... Thank you, again. *falling into a hypnotic, calming rhythm, her fins continue the new habit of stroking the feather thoughtfully, being careful not to separate the fibers*Lady Evelon She smiels soem. "It's the only thing I can do. so I jsut keep drawing." She says and looks at the rose that was handed to her then goes back to her drawing now coloring it in. Cereza del Chocolate Tori: *watches her play with the feather* Well, I'm glad I could grace a lovely lady with a gift she can enjoy. Now you can enjoy the beauty whenever. Silver Angel "I doubt it's the only thing you can do, princess... but it's marvelous that you have such talent." Peering over the other shoulder this time, Tamaki watches her color the work coming into full bloom before his very eyes. It was a remarkable resemblance, and Tamaki's narcissistic side was very much impressed. Yui: *smiles, blushing very slightly, just now noticing her fidgeting* Yes... thanks again. *holds the feather up to the light, watching it play across the iridescence* It really is beautiful... *looks back at Tori* The colors suit you very well. Art and Tamaki, pick up p.14739Silver Angel Lady Evelon "My Mom says I need to be more umm. what was the word she used out going with others or else I will remaing drawing in dark conrors. though that suits me fine. I cna capture anything I wnat in my book." Tamaki said, though inside he shuddered a little at her words. Dark corners and capturing things... it sounded a little like what a certain terrifying Black Magic enthusiast might say. He hoped Art didn't have any powers like that... especially now that his portrait was in her sketchbook. Even so, he continued to smile. "If I could reveal your beauty to the world, I would consider myself complete." This he said dramatically, spreading his arms out toward her as if she were a magnificent painting on display. Haruhi: *mumbles to herself* But isn't it the artist's job to present a masterpiece...? *sighs* Ah... that's Tamaki-senpai for you. Lady Evelon She blushes. "going out int othe open just isn't comfertable to me. people are always poping out suddenly. It scares me whe nsomeone is suddenly near me that wasen't one moment ago or if someoe nshouts at me. in the shadows neither happens." Silver Angel Tamaki laughed to himself a little... Art was a little more skittish than the shy girls he'd dealt with before, but he was sure he could find a way to bring her out. At least he knew she wasn't like Nekozawa after all... Art was frightened of people popping out, while Nekozawa was more of person to love popping out and frightening people. "A-ah, well... I tend to find that people like to pop out of the shadows just as much as out of nowhere..." Tamaki shook his head, trying to dislodge a memory of a creepy encounter with Nekozawa. "A delicate flower like you could do with a bit of open sunlight, though. You don't have to be in a crowd to be out in the open."Lady Evelon She looks at him but instead of awnsering showsh im the completed picture of him. "It's finished." She says. "Thank you for staying long enough for me to complete it."

I remember the comments about him feeling like a chipmunk. xD;; Tamaki: *lounging in an easy chair with his tail stretched out, his chest rising and falling as he naps* Kuma-chan... *mumbles and smiles*Lady Evelon Articuno swims up to tamaki and blinks wondering where the lovley Haruhai is even if she is really a he. "Um excuse me." He says. behind him hiding is art who looks like she is embaressed about something. "Rember if he says no don;t push it." she whispers. Silver Angel Tamaki stirs from his sleep, slowly blinking up at Articuno. He can't help the puzzled frown that flashes across his face, but his usual smile comes to his face as he spots Art hiding behind the Pokemon Beta. He straightens in his underwater chair and makes a sitting bow with his hand. "Is there something I can do for you?"Lady Evelon Articuno looks at Art and then Tamaki. "I was wondering. Well Art mroe thoug hshes to shy to say anyhting. If you would tkae her on a date she heard you do that kind of thing and she wnated to try one and feels msot ocmfertable around you." Silver Angel A bit surprised at the request but by no means above it, Tamaki puts on a brilliant smile, his eyes also seeming to shine with a princely radiance. It was habit under Kyouya's management that usually led him to do things like this, but it was his nature that allowed him to enjoy it. "It would be my pleasure." He rose from his cushy underwater chair and bowed to Art, extending his hand to escort her. "What would you like, princess, or did you not have anything in mind?Lady Evelon Art shrugs having no idea what to do on a date. "This would be my first date so I Don't know what to do on them. but They seem like fine." She says quietly. Articuno looks aroudn for Haurahi wantign to talk to him/her. Silver Angel Forgetting Articuno almost entirely, Tamaki smiled to himself at Art's inexperience, finding it cute. He'd been designated by sweet, shy girls before, so he thought himself used to her type. "A date is meant to be fun, princess. But these things are usually planned so that everything goes well. It'd be a shame if we rushed things and you didn't enjoy yourself." He put a hand to his chin to think a little, then looked back at Art. It would be best if I had some time to plan, but there isn't any reason we couldn't enjoy our time together in the meantime." He moved closer to her, taking one of her hands in one of his signature charms. Lady Evelon Art Blushes. "It's ok if time is Needed I wana see what a date is like. so if time is what it takes I can wait." She says softley almost unhearable. Silver Angel Tamaki smiled even more, feeling quite pleased with himself. Young ladies were so charming when they blushed! "Forgive me for being so forward, but if I may ask, what is it you like most?" He had a fair guess that it had to do with artwork, but if Art could give him more of a hint, it might make it easier to plan a breathtaking date, and Tamaki did like to think of himself as a bit of a mastermind. Lady Evelon "beautifull things." She says. "thats why I started drawing so I could take home all the pretty thigns I see and look at them later. It is cheeper the na camra and can acutlly look better at times." Silver Angel Tamaki chuckled softly. It was a general answer, after all, but one that left open many possibilities. "It is very fulfilling to be able to create something beautiful with your own hands. I feel that way sometimes when I play the piano.*waves to Tamaki from beyond the plot* >.>;; Nodding back knowingly, Tamaki turned back to Art and smiled a little sadly. "It seems I must leave you now, sweet princess. But we'll see each other again soon, and I promise to make you happy." He bowed and swam in the direction of his tank, his mind already swirling with ideas. ^^;; I'm going to take a break for the night and watch some anime with my boyfriend and then go to sleep. We can pick up later and choose a date for the date. xp Silver Angel *tosses out Zane on his tail* YOU NEED TO GET OUT MORE. Zane: AAACK! p. 15782Nathan Shiarra (Sirrush) Silver Angel Great, thanks! Humming the Star-Spangled Banner absent-mindedly to himself, Nathan swam leisurely into the main tank. It'd been a while since he'd wandered out, and he figured it'd be good every once in a while to check up on current events while he was exploring the waters. He surfaced, looking up at the brilliant, sparkle-studded sky. Breathing in contentedly, he dived again and continued his swim.
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed something shiny. At first he thought it was the reflection of the sky, but he didn't think the light wouldn't travel this deep. At a closer look, he realized it was a Beta, the stars and moon in her pattern almost glowing in their own right.Sirrush Humming softly to herself as she looked at a little pebble that seemed shinier than all the others scattered on the tank floor, she sighs a little as she wipes it off with her fin. As she looked around, she turned around, just in time to spot someone else around her and blushes a little under her scarf. "Oh! Uh.. h-hello there.." Shiarra says shyly as she tucked the pebble into her scarf. Silver Angel Nathan stopped humming and chuckled a little at the Nitemare Beta's apparent shyness. Tossing the end of his own scarf over his shoulder and out of the way, he gave a casual salute. "Hello!" he answered, smiling broadly. "How're you this evening?" Sirrush Shiarra just blushed still as she gave a silly looking salute with her own flipper and smiled as best she could over her scarf as she was approached. "Me? I-I'm fine thank you.." The little Nitemare Beta said softly as she toyed with her scarf. "What about you mister...?" ananda082001 Lilli*lets Lilli out to play for a little bit* Lilli splashes happily and does a few loops in the water. Silver Angel *patpats Aryn* x3;; *joins Meegs in Caramelldansen* q(^-^)p Giving a good-natured laugh, Nathan said "Ah, you don't need to call me 'mister.' My name's Nathan. Nice to meet you....?" He trailed off and gestured to her with one hand to give her the opportunity to introduce herself as well.Sirrush "Nathan..? That's a nice name. Oh! I-I'm Shiarra.." She said with a more visible lavender blush on her cheeks as she wriggled the scarf over the glowing hue as best she could. "It's nice to meet you Nathan.. It's really all in how you'd like your Beta's character to come out. I think it's the most fun when you don't have any expectations and you just go with the flow without worrying about interruptions, so even if you do stop, you can always pick up later. "That's a pretty name, Shiarra." Nathan's smile never left, his eyes open and smiling along. "You seem a little shy, but that's natural for newcomers. Then again, there are the ones who aren't shy at all. You gotta watch out for some of those." He chuckled a bit, thinking both of the bold, brash types and the darker, unsavory types. "I give you my word, though, that I'll never hurt you if I can help it."Sirrush Ahh, okie then. X3; *flails and gets back into fishy mode* O3O Shiarra blushed at the compliment and smiled. "Thank you." As Nathan spoke, she listened to all he had to say about the different kind of personalities that could and probably were in the other betas in the tank as she looked around a bit. "Oh, well then I thank you. I wouldn't ever want to hurt anybody." Shiarra says with a soft, but still shy smile as she swims up a bit so she was eye level with Nathan. "So... what's it like? I mean.." she blushed a bit more and thought her words over some more. "What's it like having arms?" Silver Angel "Oh, these?" He held up his hands reflexively, opening and closing his palms as he thought over her question. "It's like having fins, really..." he said, thinking back to his unevolved days, "but you can handle things more efficiently when you've got fingers. That's not to say normal Beta can't do amazing things with their fins. I say, if you've got 'em, use 'em, and it is all in how you use 'em." He laughed, resting his hands behind his head and floating in the water for a moment. "It must be odd at times, having so many digits to keep track of. Being a beta is simpler because you have one fin on each side." Shiarra said with a smile, a full hearted smile. With that, she blinked and blushed at how close she was before swimming back a little and glanced to the side. "So... do you know any other betas around here..?" *Encourages more people to join if any are around* X3 Silver Angel He chuckled a bit as she hesitantly touched his fingertips. "It was a bit odd, yeah, when I first got evolved and I had no idea how to use my hands. After a while, though, you get used to them. It's just another part of growing up, I guess." Nathan chuckled again, quietly admiring her pretty smile. The world could use more of that, he thought to himself.
"I've known a few," he answered, smiling himself. "I've been staying in my tank a lot, though, so I don't know what they're up to these days. I'd have to say because of that, though, I know my tankmates the best. My tankmates are good Beta... well, most of the time, in their own way." Using his fingers to straighten a stray fold in his scarf, he said, "Maybe I should introduce you to my kids sometime."It's all right, I'm being a bit slow myself. ^^; Sirrush It's alright. x3; Shiarra smiled again and nods as Nathan went on about hands still before her smile faded to a shy and somewhat flat face. "Ahh.. tankmates? That would be nice.. I-" she pauses and blushes deeply at the mentioning of children. "You've your own children..? I'll bet they're beautiful." She says and smiles softly. Silver Angel Nathan laughed a little, scratching the back of his head as if he'd been caught bragging and was trying humility. "Well, I think they are, but you know... I'm their father." He rearranged his scarf a bit and redirected his gaze to meet Shiarra's. "Haven't got any tankmates, huh? That's too bad... sounds like it might get lonely. I really ought to encourage my own kids to get out more, now that I think about it. They should meet some more people, too."xD; I knew someone would still be about, lurking at this hour... Sirrush Ooh! Okay X3; *is bored out of his skull and just received an invitation to bounce now* Shiarra nodded softly at the pointing out of her lack of friends and or even a single tankmate. "Yeah.. very new here. But I'd love to meet your kids sometime if you don't mind." She says with another real smile, the still apparent lavender blush on her cheeks that peeked from above her scarf as it drifted under her aimlessly. Silver Angel ^-^ *plops three of Nathan's children in the water* Stars 'n' Stripes: *spinspinspin* Whee!!Noelle and Cinnamon: * tumbletumble stop* Looking up at the splashing sounds in the tank, Nathan laughed and spread his arms. "Looks like you'll get to meet them right away. C'mere, kids! There's someone I'd like you all to meet."The youngest one swam up obediently, greeting his father with a hug. The other two swam up in turn and faced Shiarra, smiling politely. "Hello, I'm Cinnamon," said the older boy, extending his right fin with a grin. "And I'm Noelle," chirped his sister, lowering her head briefly in a cute little fish-curtsy." Her brother snickered. "We like to call her Noey." Noelle glanced up at him a bit reproachfully, and Nathan laughed. "These are my brats," he said, catching Cinnamon by his fins and giving him a gentle noogie as his son protested, trying to squirm away. He released him in a moment, gesturing toward the Nitemare Beta. "This is Shiarra. Kids, say hello."Sirrush Wheee! More fishies ^ 3^ Shiarra eeped a bit at the splashes as she looked up, her scarf slipping a bit from her face as she gazed at the brightly colored beta. "Oooh, they 'are' beautiful.." she whispered to herself as the kids went to their father. With a soft chuckle, Shiarra bowed politely as she was introduced. "Nice to meet you all. Nathan, you're a very lucky beta. Your children are very beautiful." she says sincerely, though her blush lead to questions in her mind as she tried to cover it with her scarf. SillyAngelKitty Sets the newly evolved Sango into the tank Sango looks around then attempts to swim. "Ohhh come on!! Why did you haveta go an make me semi human?? Now I have to learn to reswim." She whimpered a bit trying to get her new body to cooperate with what she wanted to do. Silver Angel Stars 'N' Stripes peeked up from beside his father and made a little salute, introducing himself quietly. "Hello, I'm Stars 'N' Stripes, but you can just call me Stars.. or Stripes... or..." He blushed self-consciously. He'd never really had to give a nickname, since his family were the only ones who really ever called him.As his youngest introduced himself, Nathan beamed proudly. "Well, y'know. Their other parents were pretty good-looking, so I can't take all the credit for that. Noelle here looks most like her other dad, I think." Sirrush Shiarra smiles and waves a fin at Stripes as she nodded at Nathan. "Oh I'm sure, but just seeing your children now shows me that there must be some very colorful beta around this tank. A-.. (Yaoi extremo O o x3) Oh. Heh.." She blushes a bit at the realization of two fathers and shakes the thought from her mind as she was addressed by the youngest beta. "Hello there, it's nice to meet you. I think Stripes is a good one." the Nitemare beta said sweetly and nods. Turning her gaze up at the higher waters of the tank, she spotted a newly evolved beta and blinks. "Is.. she going to be okay?" Silver Angel "Hm?" Nathan turned and looked where Shiarra was pointing, spotting another Angelic Beta not too far off. She seemed to be struggling with her arms and long tail. "Ah..." he chuckled softly. "I remember what that was like." He quirked his head toward the newcomer, made the "come with me" gesture with one hand, and began swimming toward the bewildered female Beta, his children tagging along, though Noelle and Cinnamon were bickering over something petty again. SillyAngelKitty Sango peers at everyone who was coming towards her. She quickly grabbed her scarf and tried to hide herself in it. "Ohh dear." She muttered to herself. She hadn't expected many beta to be around in the main tank. She was usually pretty good at hiding herself just to sit contently and watch the others interact. Tears welled up in her green eyes. At least in her old form she could get around and hide. Sirrush Nodding softly, Shiarra followed as she was asked and watched the children behind her with a soft chuckle before turning around, letting out a surprised eep as she bumped into Nathans back from swimming too fast."Sorry! Sorry, wasn't watching where I was swimming." the shy Nitemare beta said and blushed a whole new shade of lavender as she peeked from beside the Angelic beta at the other. Silver Angel "Oof," Nathan grunted as Shiarra smacked into his back. He laughed and shrugged, unperturbed, as she took a place beside him. "All right, you kids, settle down," he called. Noelle and Cinnamon instantly stopped their silly little argument and faced the other Angelic Beta, peering curiously at her, while Stars 'N' Stripes smiled and gave a little wave.
"Having a little trouble there?" He smiled. "No need to be scared or embarrassed, it takes some time. Here, try this." He held his arms by his sides and wiggled just the edge of his tailfin, moving ever so slightly in the water. "The tail's still pretty much the same, just longer..." Sirrush Shiarra blushed a bit and smiled innocently as she waved at the other angelic beta. As she watched Nathan give an example for how the other evolved beta should swim, she hmmed softly to herself and looked back at her tail fin and gave it a few wiggles, moving in a sloppy path before she nearly bumped into Nathan again, gcking silently under her scarf as she straightened back up. SillyAngelKitty Sango peered at the others still feeling raither paniced. She tried what he was showing her. Ahh this seemed to be working much better. "Thank you." She whispered shyly. She still didn't like all these other fish that were around her. "I'm Sango. I'm not scared. I'm just not use to many beta being around me all at once." She whispered softly. Silver Angel "Ah," Nathan said, nodding. "I'm sorry, we didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. I'm Nathan, and these are my kids, Noelle, Cinnamon, and Stars 'N' Stripes." He pointed to each of them, finally gesturing to Shiarra. "And this is Shiarra." Sirrush "Oh! Uh.. Hello there Sango." Shiarra says politely and bows before glancing back up. She could see the nervous face on the Angelic beta and tilted her head to the side a little. SillyAngelKitty Sango peers at all the others. "Hello." She tired to get her nerve back. "I have many tank mates but I tend to keep to myself. I have children out there." She frowned a bit. "I don't see many of them." Silver Angel Aww... poor Hito. heart *fixing lunch* "Yeah, I know how that can be, too. These kids are all I've really got in my tank, and none of us really get out much anymore. We're hoping to change that." Nathan smiled. Stars 'N' Stripes had taken to batting at his father's scarf, watching it float away and catching it again, tossing it another way and grinning as it swished in the water.Sirrush *Meeps* Sorry! Shiarra chuckled lightly at Stripes playing with his fathers scarf as she looked at her own and tidied it up the best she could, brushing off a little tank debris as she looked at the other betas, remaining silent for the time being till she felt comfortable in a conversation she could relate to. Silver Angel Hello! Nathan grinned as his son played with his scarf, untangling it from around his head when Stripes batted it especially hard. "Tankmates are all well and good, but it's nice to see a few new faces every now and then. Like today." He smiled. "We were able to meet two very nice ladies."Noelle had floated over next to Shiarra to strike up a conversation. "So, Shiarra, do you have any children?"I have to leave in about half an hour to get to my advising appointment. whee Sirrush Eeping slightly, the nitemare beta turned to face Noelle and smiled as she greeted the other beta. "Huh? Me? Children..? No. I haven't had a chance before. First time actually coming in contact with so many other beta to be honest." She said with a deep blush. SillyAngelKitty Sango smiles softly. "I'm trying to meet others. But I handle it so much better on an one on one basis." She peered at Shiarra. "So are you new around here then?" I been coloring. ninja Pretty kitty!!

Iris swam back home to the tanks as fast as her speckled tail would take her. Nathan, chuckling aloud, followed at a much easier pace, though keeping her in his sights.
"Ying! Hey, Ying!" Iris called out breathlessly as she stuck her head around the corner of the lantern Beta's curtain of underwater plants.
Guang YingXiong looked up from his pacing, a little alarmed at the way Iris burst in. Nathan, catching up in a moment, peeked his head around as well, chuckling at the Chinese Beta's wide-eyed expression.
"It's good news... well, fairly favorable news, anyway."
"Yeah, it looks good... pretty good. They didn't say anything bad or look angry... I mean..." Iris's smile faded a bit as she brought a hand to her chin thoughtfully. "They really sounded like they wanted to meet you... to see what kind of Beta you are." She fidgeted a moment. "No offense, Ying, but... is all this... really necessary?" The pink evolved clownfish waved her arms in a jumble of circular motions to emphasize her words.
Ying's glow flickered and he opened his mouth to protest, but Nathan stepped in with a word of his own. "We understand your desire for proper protocol, but we met the young lady's guardians, and in this case, I think tradition might be more troublesome than it's worth. They don't seem any more Chinese than Iris and me, and while I think they got the point, I really think they might feel that a clean match would be one in which everyone is straightforward and lay all expectations on the table, so to speak."
Ying was silent for a moment, mulling over his envoys' words. "What you say... has merit." His glow dimmed a bit as his fins sagged. "It may be wise to change our approach..." Swimming in a circle as he thought, he paused and looked to the other two Beta. "On the other hand, it would be a waste to leave unfinished what has already begun."
Smiling broadly, Nathan put a hand on his hip and invited himself into Ying's corner in the tank. "How about a compromise, then? When they get around to replying to the letter we gave them, we'll arrange for everyone to meet and talk things through. We'll see her, they'll see you, and we'll be around to vouch for you if they look like they need any more convincing."
Iris came into the space as well, resting on the stone floor. "It doesn't sound like Jia YaHuo has talked to her guardians about this, either. Didn't you ask her to put in a word for you? I mean, doesn't she want the same thing you do?"
A tight smile came to Ying's features, and he looked up at Iris. "I believe so. I can only hope so... I... I know it seems as if this is all happening so quickly, but I feel... I feel there is nothing more right than our love for each other, and thus it would be wrong for me not to pursue a marriage relationship."
Her features softening, Iris lay a hand on Ying's softly glowing back. "I think if you two really love each other so much, you should talk about what the both of you want out of your relationship, and what a marriage means to each of you. After all, a marriage isn't just about one person."
Sighing as if to release all his anxiety, Ying nodded, conceding Iris's point. "I see the wisdom of your thoughts. I am to meet her tonight... I shall speak with her honestly and... if we really are a good match, I am sure we will have the blessing of heaven."
