It was enough for the girl to have a skip in her step, and a bit of excitement....Crushed by the appearance of another, powerful enemy. However..."Human! You seem to be a swordswoman of considerable strength! Would thou wish to have a proper duel, after we fell this enemy?"An..interesting proposition, from a skeletal demon with a red cape...But, one she was eager to accept.
"Right...So long as we defeat this thing first." she called, the demon swinging his own blade."I swear by my blade and Capote....I shall emerge victorius!"And..they were. With the combined swordsmanship, and showmanship...The two were able to easily handle the demon with misdirection, and otherwise formidable forces. She sighed in relief, as the demon turned...and bowed his head to her. No sooner did he, did a glow flow into her phone..and she had a new demonic ally.Quote: Event: Special Encounter! Minori Koroko  After that encounter, Minori was left thoughtful, but urgency was still in her mind. This was worse than she had imagined... and she needed to get to the others fast. She was getting close to Downtown, and she could hear fighting. More people were out here, but there were so many corpses as well. The girl flinched at the sight of a bloody mess of a man laying motionless, her hand clasping at her mouth to avoid a scream. The wounds inflicted were of the vicious kind...a demon, a powerful one at that. Her insides churned, and the girl hurried on her path, averting her gaze.
Whatever had killed that man was near though... but she couldn't ponder on it as the hairs at the back of her neck stood on end as a raspy breath was felt on her neck. She whirled, noticing some kind of sea monster monster behind her, and before she could even summon her Pixie, it had already thrown her away against a wall. The girl gasped out for air as she hit the ground, coughing, aching. Her Pixie did all it could to protect her, but she knew it wouldn't be enough against something like this. Still, she stood up and held her impromptu weapon in front of her. She'd fight...she needed to... she needed to find...
'Don't fret, child.' A voice that was familiar but at the same time new to her echoed behind her. ' A valiant lass, I can see that. I will aid you this time. Seeing you fight for a noble cause deserves rewarding. It isn't your time to rest in Fólkvangr with me.'
Syr? No... Minori turned to look at Freya and nodded, accepting the demon's power, feeling it flowing through her veins.
...
It had been a bizarre feeling. Not being able to move on your own...trusting the demon blindly and hoping it wouldn't kill you. The Forneus was dead and Freya had stay true to her word. And now... she stumbled through the streets, alive. There was a fight up front though...and she approached carefully. Whatever was attacking seemed extremely powerful... maybe the same thing that had killed that man.
What she saw then made her heart stop. She recognized the cotton candy colored hair... but there was so much blood. So much... "Genji!" she blurted out just as the other figure walked out, bored with its prey for the moment. She didn't care... she couldn't leave him there... She couldn't.
"Please... Genji! Please!" The girl fell to her knees beside him, hands already trying to stop the bleeding. "Pixie! Help him, I beg you." her words broke...her voice trembled. "You can't die, Genji. Don't die on me... Don't leave me here alone."

Nekura Myonmu'Okay..here's something I can get behind." Nekura mused, drawing his [improvised] weapon as it was...and looking at the demons that glared him down. He grinned ear to ear, lunging after one of them for a vicious bashing of the skull.
And, like a Pinata....With enough bashing..a token popped out!

"And what of what I want? Justice...revenge for the sister they murdered?!"For Kisa, everything was likely dark. Encountering the True Chaos Demi-Fiend usually ended that way. Bright crimson blood and darkness consuming one's vision, the end of life and everything that meant within.
...But as the darkness fell and the blood drained, a voice suddenly called out in the dark...one that she had heard more than a few times now, and perhaps, had begun to trust in this Hellscape that did not foster such warm feelings on the regular. It called out to her and above her, a faith warmth began to permeate her entire body, a hand cradled the underside of her head as he seemed to be piecing her back together bit-by-bit, restoring the light, the feeling, the blood within her body. And behind him was the shadow of a woman with dark hair, glaring darkly at the two of them...or perhaps she was simply watching their back and ensuring that nothing were to overcome their Lord's distraction. He worked his devilish art as the light finally began to return to the girl, helping her to her feet slowly before letting her go.
"Rise now, Kisa," the low hum of the Red Viper's voice filled the air as he smirked with that confident grin of his, "I am not about to allow that monster to claim you as a prize just yet. And I am certain this is not how you wish to let this end, yes?" He stepped back and nodded once, then glanced over his shoulder at his bodyguard and nodded again, turning away from Kisa and holding out his Candelabrum, now burning a little more dimly than before, letting the Amala Network slowly begin to envelop him. "Try to be more careful, no?  Kisa"Thank you." Kisa's words were slightly muffled by the sound of all the dirt in her face as Obelyn came along and helped her up after that last attack. She had not been doing well AT ALL, not with all the crimson lightning that was being chucked around, and while part of her wanted to run away... even more of her wanted to keep going. Youmu KonpakuFor the fourth time that day, life had come back to her...And she looked up to see the same, strange blue haired boy once again.
"Oh....Hello again." she called, with an uneasy chuckle. "We..uh..gotta stop meeting like this."
He kept coming to save her...Yet, as he was covered in blood too, she felt..a touch uneasy. He seemed all too happy with the situation as it was....And, as she pushed to her feet, she bowed once more.
"My name is Youmu Konpaku." she called, bowing deeply. "Thank you so very much for saving me..."
She waved a hand, as if gesturing for him to do the same. Someone who was like that...A friend as it was.....She hoped he would be friendly in exchange. Is this a dream? Yuuki thought to herself as her eyes laid on the the destroyed town of Inaba. Who in the world was responsible!? However, that question answered itself, and in turn it gave the girl a clear goal: an enemy to defeat, a way for her to help.
"I'll help you!" A small bell-like voice cooed from behind, but when Yuuki turned to face the person, she came face to face with a Pixie. Not looking an (exceptionally cute) gift horse in the mouth, Yuuki accepted the offer, and headed forth into battle with her new companion. And their first battle ended in a success! While they were a new team, Yuuki was able to sufficiently protect her ally and provide some attack support with her shield, wile the Pixie took to taking the lead in fire power.

Shun Fujomaki"Shun! Shun Fujomaki!" the boy called with a grin, doing his own exaggerated bow as he started off with his blades drawn again. "I hope we meet again, Konpaku! On better terms!"
But, as it was, he had a problem coming..One he could tell with keen instincts....
A horde of humans, that were more or less terrified at his bloody visage. He held up his swords and grinned, swinging them in a flurry.
"Dwarven Vow Number seven!" he called, slashing through the demons..and breaking the phones of the humans, even as they joined their assault on him. It was a scuffle, and his outfit was more than a bit dirty from the encounter..But...
