it's ******** art
Aodh always got an odd sensation whenever Jaro would look over his way. Like he was missing something. Eventually he finished with his work and was pulling off the heavy gloves that he worked with, goggles pushed up onto his head, and walked over to see what the older man was working on.
"So what are you working on?" he asked, walking in a circle around it. Aodh always was curious about personal projects but respectful of the privacy all the same.

it's ******** art"Art obviously." Jaro had stopped welding when Aodh approached, lifted his mask, and then made a huffy face at the question. He then resumed welding in silence, attaching something that looked like a boob maybe?

it's ******** artAodh made a face at Jaro for that response. Usually there was some kind of better clue. A word or the like about what had brought it about. Today it was ... just art. Also him getting a look like he should have known? Except that he couldn't remember any notes about a piece like this that had been commissioned or- "It's always art," he replied. Aodhan resumed walking around it in a circle, trying to pick out details. Like that boob. What the hell?

it's ******** artJaro got the boob thing attached and stopped again, walking around it in a circle as he was known to do. The mask flipped back up again so he could get a good look at everything. He looked at at Aodh again, then back down. "What?" He was grabbing a piece of something and taking his mask off so he could move to his bench and work the metal with punches and clips, pinching and pressing designs into it to give it texture, "You can't tell what it is?" Again he was smirking as if the other should know.

go for itThey are at the hardware store. Aodh is given an order for sheet metal and Jaro is off somewhere else trying to buy new bits for a drill because he was wearing most of his out. The girl in the orange apron is cute, hair up in a messy bun and just the right amount of makeup to make her hazel eyes look just the right shade of green to compliment the atrocious shade of her work uniform. "Sorry it's taking so long.." She smiled at Aodh, not heavy handed but clearly trying to goad him into conversation.

it's ******** artAodh stared at Jaro and then back at the art piece. If he was supposed to be able to tell what it was, he definitely was not able to. It looked ... He had no idea. "No ... ?" he said hesitantly. That smirk he caught sight of had him a little unsure. Usually he could pick out something but this one was definitely throwing him.

go for itAodh shifted, shoulders rolling back and looking at the girl and blinking a couple times. If he was supposed to notice anything other than the atrocious color of her uniform, it was not working. Instead he just nodded slightly at her; gave her a sympathetic smile. It's empty but she does not seem to notice. "It's alright," he said. That was it. No, no conversation for you.

it's ******** artJaro frowned at Aodh, frowned at the piece he was working on, then smirked. "Hold on.." He grabbed another piece of metal, already crimped and trimmed, and began attaching it to the side. It was supposed to help but...

go for it"You umm.. work for that other guy?" Because Jaro was clearly an adult and Aodh was clearly a teenager. "He like your dad or uncle or something?" He was very interested in talking Aodh.

it's ******** artAodh just blinked. Tried peering at the piece from a couple other angles. There was a hopeless shake of his head to show that he really did not have any clue.

go for itAodh's attention was on the aisles and he turned when she kept talking. "Yes, I do but he's not my uncle or dad." That actually made him frown briefly. Jaro was kind of like ... the opposite of him. Aodh was small, scrawny and pale blonde. Jaro was tall, fit, and auburn-haired. Still not really offering additional dialogue for conversation either. Just answering what was asked while he was waiting.

go for it"What are you guys doing with all this stuff?" She was full of eye bats and everything right when Jaro came around a corner. Having come from the yard he was in his bandanna and work clothes, smudged and dirty, and now carrying a basket with a new drill bit set and some odds and ends. He noticed the girl's googly eyes and got that slow troublesome smirk of his, "Hello you two.." The girl grinned at that, even though Jaro didn't even know her. "Everything ready?"

go for itAodh finally seemed to click the moment that Jaro said you two that the girl was trying to flirt with him. It made him straightened up and look between Jaro and her. "... still waiting on the sheet metal from the back," he replied, pleasant smile in place but his shoulders tensing up. Aodh was more than a little uncomfortable with the idea of her flirting with him. Not even remotely interested. "Did you find the bit sets we need?"

it's ******** art"What?" he sounded a little incredulous. Aodh looked at it again, tilted his head and studied it before he turned to look back at Jaro. Then back to the statue. "I mean ... it looks good ..." Slowly said because he really, really did not see it at all. How was that even remotely him? There were no boob shaped parts on him thank you.
