He might have been more careful after the angry wind, but Fish paid little attention to his surroundings or the people in them as he searched for this so-called magic alcohol. After a few minutes, he glanced at his cohorts to make sure none of them had located the essence, ducked under the arm of a woman who looked like she was aiming to touch his hair, and went back to searching.

Slowly weaving through the party goers, careful not to attract anymore unwanted attention, Lazarus circled the group as he tried to search for whatever that looks weird among the food items. He glanced at the drunken logger man again, consciously moving further away from him. At the same time trying to rack his brain to remember what fel essence in Kyou's vault that is alcohol related.
"I'm not a professional at smelling alcohol.." If there is someone that is professional at that. Although the Valsaros had to admit he drinks his fair share of alcohol. "...but that smells like wine right?" A sweet, slightly tart scent. He don't drink a lot of wine, so he's a little unfamiliar with the smell.

Henry definitely wasn't the one to ask about alcohol -- he never touched the stuff, even in college. With a quick glance to the compass he shrugged. "Sure have me beat..." he admitted, looking to both Nell and Fisher for answers.

"I can't really tell with all of this," she said, waving a hand at the ruckus going on around them. If there was wine around, it was lost in the general smell of alcohol and food and naked dancing people. Though if it was some kind of drink, she was surprised they hadn't downed it all yet.

"Maybe. I've got nothing though." He knew what wine smelled like, he just failed to smell any here. It was as Nell said. There were just too many other smells around to pinpoint a single one.

"s**t..." He cursed to himself under his breath. This whole ordeal is turning into a nightmare. Even though everyone around them is living in some sort of drunken dream. The smell of alcohol is slowly coming and fading as well as he goes around the group. He is starting to have difficulty smelling it out among the smell of sweat, junk food and other questionable scent. One glance to his right and he caught two naked people making out. This might be getting a little out of hand.
"I'll go look again on that side..." He motioned to where the man had dragged him to before. There are so many things strewn about, perhaps they should start digging through the mess? Kneeling down in front of a picnic basket, be began to rummage through the food items inside. Surely they wouldn't mind, or even remember perhaps. However, he did not struck gold, only a handful of cake.

The nurse was really hoping that they could find the essence soon to get out of this mess -- the smell of alcohol was overpowering and, quite frankly, very unappealing. However, the needle seemed to finally settle in one direction.

As the group braved the fray they did find that becoming "one of the group" in one sense of the phrase did keep the partiers surprisingly at bay. A cheer went up to be sure and there were a few unwelcome glances, but it seemed the drunken folk perceived the team as having joined in, even with their clothing still on. However, as they "joined in" the party did start to swell. The singing became louder, the movements faster, and anyone looking on their hands and knees were at great threat to having their fingers stepped on. The smell of alcohol seemed to grow as well - dizzyingly heavy and cloying.
Laz's digging was a good idea to a possible solution, but he turned up nothing in his digging other than some turkey sandwiches and a surprisingly unopened bag of chips.
Henry, however, was more fruitful in his search. Literally. When a drunken merrymaker stumbled it was only natural to try and get out of the way, which meant putting his foot down in a discarded cluster of grapes just outside one of the picnic blankets. Each one that was crushed underfoot audibly popped like tiny balloons and beneath the nurse's shoe the ground ran red with liquid dark enough to be blood but smelling far too much like fresh chianti to really be so.Fel Essence #68  Grapes of Merriment
A cluster of Concord grapes sits in this Essence jar looking as fresh and crisp as if just picked off the vine. However, upon touching one of the plump fruits, it bursts open into nothing but juice! But wait...is that the scent of alcohol in the air? Turns out these perfect looking beauties have actually fermented from the inside and each berry is a pint-sized pocket of wine! As if blessed by Bacchus, this stuff is potent; a mouthful of grapes packs enough punch to make even the most tolerant of drinkers start to feel tipsy!

It was certainly an experience she likely wasn't going to forget for a while. In the search for the essence she ended up being grabbed and spun and twirled around to some unheard music. That, combined with the heady scent of alcohol, left her head spinning, and she finally managed to stumble out of the group of people and rest against a tree trunk until she regained her bearings.
She was careful to keep her search to the edges of the group after that, and edged even farther away when Henry scooped up the grapes that were supposedly causing this.
"Cool," she said, warily keeping an eye on the revelers who were already seeming to lose steam. "Um. We should probably get back to the Lab with these soon, yeah?"

Henry stumbled as the smell of alcohol permeated the air, covering his nose as soon as the stench hit. That must have been it, he figured, and he quickly scooped them up into a jar as quickly as possible. As soon as they were sealed away, the scent softened -- the nurse could only imagine how pungent the grapes would have been for poor Ethiriel and, once again, was somewhat glad she didn't get dragged into this.
"Jeez..." he sighed, glancing around at the merry makers as they began to calm.
Looking to Nell, Henry took a few paces towards Laz and offered him the jar. "I guess so. Today's been enough of an adventure..." Once the jar was out of his hands, he slumped his shoulders and motioned toward the car. "I hope the other groups were able to find some essences easier than we did..."

Fisher didn't notice that the essence had been located until he unintentionally ran headlong into some guy's naked back and realized that no one he'd come here with was nearby anymore. He looked through the crowd until he found the Raevan, then wove his way over to his trio of companions.
"We going?" He leaned closer, not bothering to hide his interest in getting a better look at what Henry had found.

As Lazarus kept an occasional eye on the rest of his team mates during the search, Henry's find did not escape his attention. Briskly he jogged on over as Henry deposited the grapes into a jar, looking not so full now that half of it had been eaten or crushed. It's staining the inside of the jar and is collecting a small pool at the bottom as well.
"I had a feeling it was this one." Lazarus lets out a long sigh as he runs a hand through his hair. "I just wasn't hundred percent sure you know?" There are a few fel essences in Kyou's collection that can are alcohol related or can potentially be. He had certainly seen these grapes before, and they certainly were in better shape. Right now they just look sad with so many empty stems.
Now that their search is over, Lazarus finally realized that the light in the area had visibly dimmed. Pulling his phone out of his pockets, he checked the time. "Damn." It's the evening already, nearing sun down. "I think we should head back out before it gets too dark to navigate." Especially on the forest trail. Plus it will take them some time to get back into the city as well.
The journey was not as fruitful as he had hoped, but they can always continue on tomorrow when Kyou will be more well prepared. Perhaps the other teams were more productive than they were.
