Captain Zircon - Being Rescued by Labyrinthite

"I'm here to rescue you Zircon."

For a moment, the captain's face froze, a blank screen that hesitated while the rest of her tried to process the information she'd been given. Then slowly, wearily, her eyes bubbled over with tears. It was over. It was all finally over.

"Thraen," she whispered, and her voice shook as tears began to run down her face. "Thraen, it was always Thraen, you have to get me out of here before he comes back--" Her soft words became a single strangled cry and she folded in on herself, sobbing as she reached for Labyrinthite's coat with her mangled hands.

"I tried to leave, I tried," she wailed, pressing her head against the motley print of his vest. Zircon was safe now, she told herself, but she just couldn't bring herself to stop crying, no matter how great a shadow Labyrinthite cast over her. The damage had already been done--there was only so much his protective canopy could do now.

General Labyrinthite - Rescuing Zircon

She didn't take his hand, instead she grabbed his cloak, pulled him forward desperately. Tears flooded her cheeks and Labyrinthite's brows shot upward in mild panic - he had no idea what to do with a crying woman. Comfort was not his strong suit, intimidation was, and the general was, once again, at a loss.

Thraen, she gasped and his expression darkened, with narrowed eyes and thin press lips Labyrinthite reached an arm around her, palm solidly against her back, pulled her close to him. "He won't touch you again," he promised in more of a growl than a coherent sentence. "I'm here and nothing else is going to happen to you under my watch."

He knew of the senshi, but had not experienced the man first hand, yet the idea of him and the damaged he'd done to the captain made Labyrinthite seethe beneath his otherwise calm demeanor. "Breathe, Zircon," he ordered, softer than one might think the man capable of. They shared history and the small woman was capable of coaxing things to the surface that the man didn't know still existed within him.

His emotions surfaced rarely and when they did, they were often only present in the presence of certain people. Zircon was one of them. "We need to get you to a hospital," he admitted, reluctantly as he slid an arm beneath her thighs carefully, trying to keep from disturbing the leg that wasn't healing right. "You need narcotics."

He'd steal them if he had to if it meant she could power down without being in too much pain. "It's okay," he murmured softly, pulling her into his chest as he rose up from his kneeling position. "You don't need to explain. It's over, you're safe. I'm going to keep you safe."

General Jarosite - Being rescued by Tourmaline

"As if the energy signature wasn't a giveaway, but yes, General Jarosite would be me," not that anyone else seemed to care at all, but... he grumbled to himself, giving a kind smile to the lieutenant untying him. She was younger than he was, and very pink. Probably not a bad thing.

He stood up, rubbing his wrists and getting the feeling back in. It was so nice to not have the chair go with him when he moved. Jarosite stretched, cracking his back and neck, and getting a good pop out of his shoulders. He looked at her and patted her shoulder.

"Thanks. Do you know of anyone else who still needs to get out?" he asked, though all the blue haired general wanted to do was teleport out and be done with this whole business. The worst part of it all, was not being important enough to get anything except being strapped to a chair. For a week. Alone. Was he really worth so little?

Maybe he was.

Lieutenant Tourmaline - Receiving Pats for a Job Well Done

"Lieutenant Tourmaline. Not too good with the whole energy signature thing yet, but glad you're one of our people." She flashed him a broad grin at the pat on the shoulder; better that then a head pat or hair ruffle. She might have hit him, general or not, for messing with her hair.

"There was a scuffle going on in the hall when we came in. I was given orders to locate and free Zircon, whose description you don't match, but secondary objective was to get our people out of here. Do you know how many of our people they've been holding here?" Tourmaline was avoiding saying that she didn't know anyone who might have been taken; that everything was so new to her that this was her first real outing that wasn't a same-side scuffle or a run in with a crazy skirt since her general had scared her to death and brought her back to life.

"Did they bring anyone in with you, General?"

Captain Richterite - Rescuing Lieutenant Prehnite

"We're going to have to work on your stand up, Lieutenant," he laughed just the same despite how much more tempting it was to groan at the terrible joke. His hands were gentle as fingers ran over the cuffs, searching for a safety release of some sort. Had the senshi managed to get real cuffs instead of the stupid bondage novelty ones?

"Hey, it's alright. We're going to get you the ******** out of here and once you're feeling better we'll track down who did this." Anger was an emotion that Captain Richterite hadn't felt this strongly in a while. He flexed his fingers to steady them again as he summoned one of his cards.

"I'm going to have to break the chain," he gave the other man a warning so that he wouldn't jerk too much at the sound, not wanting to risk hurting Prehnite any further just to free him. "Didn't think to bring lock picks with me. I've got a set back home that gives me a +9 to sarcasm while picking locks in shitty situations."

I am so sorry. I thought I had responded to this. ;;

Captain Zircon - Being Rescued by Labyrinthite

Zircon was a good soldier.

Zircon could follow instructions.

She breathed in, even if it was ragged, even if her body screamed while her lips only fluttered. He reached under her, and she nearly screamed herself, but she bit it down to a pained hiss, leaning in to the warmth of his cloaked body as she felt herself being lifted.

It's over, you're safe. I'm going to keep you safe.

She could only stare meekly in response when he mentioned narcotics, her heart already racing at the thought of stark hospital walls. Her body was healing too quickly, it would raise so many questions, but the alternative was a crystal slab deep in the Rift, and she knew where that led. But it meant powering down again, and just the thought was enough for bile to rise in her throat. No, she was in so much pain already, didn't he understand how brave she was for withstanding it? If she powered down, she wouldn't be able to endure, she would just be soft and weak and Labyrinthite had demanded the opposite. There were starseeds in her apartment, and energy was easy enough to come by--couldn't she just recover on her own and forget the whole thing had happened?

She shifted in his grasp, and fire lanced all the way up her leg as a staunch reminder that made her wince. Starseeds could mend broken bones, but she needed help if they were to be reset, if she were ever to stand on her own two feet again. "Hospital," she nodded weakly, clutching to the edges of her jacket as she braced herself. At the first hint of white, she would drop her glamour, and then the fight would truly begin.

Lieutenant Prehnite - Singing Richterites Praises!

Prehnite snorted painfully, the Captain was right; it was nice to get a laugh from someone though. He was sick of this dark, dank a** little cell, and the parade of 'crazies'. At least he now had an idea for a back-up career when this one killed him. Prehinte, corpse comedian! "I'm..so-so tempted..." He was going to be happy as hell just to be able to 'stand up' without the pull of chains or fear of someone waiting at the other end of a door.

He gave a tight nod of agreement, licking his chapped lips as he felt Richterite, gentle, careful, feeling over the cuffs. Nearly grinning for the idea of retribution; he didn't have much in the way of names, but he would find those faces again. Some auras were impossible to forget...

"Whoever called you an a*****e before.." Nodding again as he sucked in a breath and held himself still, loose. Promising himself all sorts of goodies later if he could just make it through this; just one more thing. "Needs to get stabbed..in the eye.."

Prehnite desperately wanted to roll his eyes at the man. A home, and not a dungeon? Nifty. He hadn't actually been over to anyone's home in..well..it felt like forever. He'd make an adventure of it. "Do it." The clipped words growled through clenched teeth.

Lt. Sylvite

"No, I can walk," Sylvite insisted, swaying noticeably... but staying upright. "...Maybe? ...Probably? I'll try." Her balance wasn't there at all. Without help, she would've still been on the floor, but her actual strength hadn't faded that much. As long as she was holding onto him, she could keep herself upright... at least for now.

She gave a very tiny nod when he said he hadn't seen Chrysocolla. "It's okay... there's lots of people here to help... they can help her... I can't... I wanna go..." she mumbled, not really aware that she was saying it out loud. Then, more purposefully, she said, "We should go," and started down the hall, trusting Huntite to get her out of there.

General Jarosite

He shook his head. "I don't know. I know we've got more people here - I could hear them - but I don't know who, or how many, unfortunately. Solitary confinement was a little lax in the information department." Jarosite walked out of the cell, glancing down the hall to see if anyone else was close.

Two choices here, either get out now, or try and see if anyone else needed assistance. He glanced back at Tourmaline for a moment.

"Do you know where the rest of them are? Or at least the route you took to get here? We might stumbled upon them on the way out." He'd rather not be completely lost for hours. He was already sore as it was.

She was going to ground those little shits. Both of them, and she didn't give a rats a** if she was their biological mother or not. She'd probably string Aqua's neck first, before grounding them but that was neither here nor there at the moment. And then perhaps a quick stop to make sure Jericho was okay as well. Just to calm her frayed nerves.

But first things first.

Azurite rounded the corner, the sound of something solid thudding against the ground behind her as she did. "We'll go home in just a bit, hun." She said addressing Jet. "But first we need to get you outta there." The corrupts eyes then darted to Aqua. "When you're done with that, move. I want to look at his arm real quick." Azurite said as she began undoing the bow on the back of her dress. She hoped the blue fabric would be enough to produce a makeshift sling until Jet could get it actually looked at.

She chose to not comment on the fact he was crying, instead she just reached through the bars to brush the tears off his cheeks. He'd likely be mad at her for doing that. Jet never was a fan of senshi. Yet here she was again, invading his space. "Just a few more minutes okay?" He'd made it through the worst of it. Aqua and Azurite would make sure he made it home now.

Lt. Huntite

While he didn't quite believe her, Huntite wasn't about to force the issue and nodded when she said she would try. He made sue to stick by her and keep a hold on her just to be on the safe side however.

"Yes, there was quite a few that came to help rescue everyone though I did not count to see exactly how many." He probably should have to make sure that the same number returned safely but he was trusting that some one higher on the totem pole was keeping track. After all he was just a Lieutenant for now. "Agreed. Stay close and stay alert." He said then lead her out and back the way he had originally came from, keeping ready for anything the entire time.

Lieutenant Tourmaline

"I remember how I found my way to you, yes. I can find my way back out." She gave him a nod as she followed him out into the hall before stepping just past him in the direction she'd come from. "Little disappointing that they'd hold you all up here and then skip out on guarding house for the jail break," she snorted softly as she shook her head only just now starting to wonder if they'd walked into a trap.

Lieutenant Tourmaline paused, pulling out her communication crystal to reach out to General Labyrinthite. "Sir? No Zircon here, but I've located General Jarosite. Going to continue the search. Any luck?"

Captain Richterite - Porting Out with Prehnite

"I've had a few friends call me that. Let's avoid stabbing them, hm?" His brow quirked as he stood, giving himself enough room to put all of his strength behind throwing one of his cards at the chain holding Prehnite's cuffs to the wall.

The first card struck, putting a dink in one of the chain links before deflecting off. He bit the inside of his cheek to keep himself from cursing out loud before throwing a second. By the third the link broke and the chain fell free.

He banished his cards back to the pocket of Negapsace that he stored them in, tugging the other man up by the elbow to support him as he teleported them both somewhere that he could safely continue fighting with the cuffs without worry of being discovered.

General Labyrinthite - Leaving with Zircon

It was hard to miss the way she lit up in pain and the general could feel his throat dry up as she bit back her screams. He understood pain and pain was temporary except - except it didn't look like the pain Zircon was feeling was going to stay temporary.

He hadn't been here, he didn't know how long she'd been injured like this, how damaged her bones were or if they were even reparable - Cosmos he hoped they were. He kept his expression stoic, not wanting to alarm or worry her more than she already was. Labyrinthite cradled her carefully, close to his chest, mindful of her injuries.

"It'll be over soon," he promised, understand how hollow his words could sound. His crystal went off and he was forced to delicately shift the captain in his arms to retrieve it.

Sir? No Zircon here, but I've located General Jarosite. Going to continue the search. Any luck?

A slow intake of breath, a slower exhale and then a response. "I found her," he said slowly. "She's injured and needs medical attention, I am going to take her to a hospital and I'll be back. Check for other captives, engage with discretion." There was a bubble of pride that welled within him at the notion that his lieutenant had rescued a general.

"Come on Zircon," he mumbled, teleporting them out and to a hospital, uncaring that he was still very much powered because -- Zircon needed help more than General Labyrinthite needed to stay hidden.
