	It was day and night. As she slowly and carefully worked at the lock, it clicked once, twice, and then a third time, unlocking. The 'safes' were little demons in a sense. Stubborn and some just not worth it she decided. But, as she got the new box open, she held up the treasures in her hand. A low trill, she took them to be weighed and smiled as she saw the results. Absolutely perfect. Nothing for her to worry about, she smugly sat down. Yeah, she'd be a lock picking master in no time. (15+ Thank u bby jesus)

	Some click-clack sound like metal being inserted and pushed into another piece of metal woken her up. Hrrnh? She was in the middle of hibernation-training, and has been here for at least 2 days...so what's they doing here anyway? Some boils seemed to be doing something with their hands...to locks scattered everywhere. Hrmm. She looked to the teacher which watches upon the students with warm eyes... "Teach, can I drop in for this class? I know it's kinda late but..." The teacher handed over a new set of...lockpicks. Uh, she can manipulate roots and stems to make a key, but if the class was meant to be taken with physical tools she can only oblige at the rule. And yes, she knew that by using her Natural Ability it can be traced back to her-who else was a plant spirit with control over plants anyway? Clank-clank-clank SNAP Ooops, she used too much power. The pick's snapped into two. Lockpicking Picking Attempt: Fail Treasure Gained: 0 Total Treasure: 0

	The reaper was more excited about a class than their familiar was that was a certainty. What wasn't was just how well Crimson would do. the reaper was often about as careful with non alchemical things as they were with their own self awareness. AKA no concern, not a single damn given for their own well being. Crimson might have been hyper focused when it came to potions, enchantments, magical infusions but anything within the realm of the physical? They were just a hot mess. Their familiar shuddered to think how this was all going to go but alas, he didn't have a choice, following the reaper as they sat down and began to hang off of each and every word from the professor. The familiar was still not excited. Crimson was just thinking how they could use such skills to break into places to get various ingredients.

	Grumbling, Mahlan reached for the next pick and the next lock...since the broken pick was jammed still into the previous lock. Why is this so hard compared to what her usually do to 'save' the under-hydrated plants inside other boil's house? If she was using the usual way she only need to put some small root inside the key and try to move every small nibs inside it while forcing it to 'lock' the nibs--- "OH! That's what I should do!" snap Poor Mah. Her excitement causes the pick, again, to break. Hrrrmmmmggh. Lockpicking Picking Attempt: 2(still FAIL lol) Treasure Gained: 0 Total Treasure: 0

	Third time's the charm! She already know how to do this by now. Putting another L-shaped piece of metal rod into the keyhole, she pulled out a smaller pick with wavy shape on its thin end. Slowly 'massaging' the nibs of the lock one-by-one, she kept constant tension on the turner rod--- -ohgreatjackwhyit'snow- "Htchu!" snap With a cute sneeze, the lever broke again. 	This was literally the worst idea ever. That was the singular oevr riding thought that the familiar had as they watched Crimson pick away at the box's lock with an almost alarming fixation. There was nothing to be gained in this endeavor, nothing but bad choices and the possibility that Crimson would think this a practical and smart skill to use on things they should not be getting into. Crimson didn't care what was IN said box, only that they could get into it, and while the treasure was put to the side, the fallow deer buck was left to make faces as the blood mage went to grab another locked box with too much enthusiasm. This was the worst idea ever. Total: 4

	Or perhaps not. The familiar couldn't help let out a bleat of pleasure when the blood mage failed to break into their second box, trying several times before giving up on that particular one. So long as the reaper didn't become good at this, the familiar had nothing to worry about. Hopefully. Crimson was tenacious at times, but this was not a spell or blood that the reaper wanted. It was just the satisfaction of breaking into a box. That much could at least, be mitigated with various failures.

	Total: 4 Shiki frowned at the lock and waggled one finger yipping at it softly as if telling it that it better open. The lock did not speak kitsune.. it stayed locked.

	Forsaking the lock picks for a moment Shiki kicked the box aiming for where one of the picks was sticking out. All he managed to do was bend the end of the pick. total:4

	The kitsune was getting a tad angry at the box, if this didn't work this time he was going to move to another and leave this one to rust.. maybe he would even bury it to be spiteful. With ears laid back he kicked dirt onto the box and headed to a new one. total:4 attempts:4 Fails: 3

	Finding a nicer, friendlier looking box Shiki knelt down and started working with his pick. Looks were deceiving, this box seemed to hate him too. attempts:5 total: 4

	Tears started to form in the boil's eyes, tears of frustration. He wanted into the box and it wouldn't let him. He worked harder with the pick, pushing it in deeper. The box opened with a click letting Shiki pull out... a ball of tinfoil? Oh a ball! He wagged his tail and stuffed it into his pocket., The ball was tightly coiled and kind of heavy. Total: 4+6=10

	He wasn't exactly sure what was going on with Helki lately but it was becoming rather annoying and pressing on his patience. Just when Tavi had thought his mentoring had made a breakthrough it was like the wolf pup regressed back to before they even met. Luckily however he hadn't stopped bathing again. When mention of a special class caught attention Tavi was more than ready to pull his pupil out to see what it was all about and this is where they found themselves. Picking locks! What fun, Tavi beamed to Helki giving him a playful nudge of elbow before rushing over to pick up his set of tools and one for the other boil. A hand of the extra over and the kit bounced ahead towards a nearby box to try for some treasure. Sitting down in front of the box the demon pulled out one of the wiry tools and shoved it into the lock. A moment to jiggle it around and he started to hear a few clicks and clacks. Getting excited was the bad part he had to pace himself from going too fast and breaking the tool. On a huge deep breath he turned and twisted the tool once more and a loud click sounded as the lock got loose and tool easier to turn. "I did it!" 	The kitsune boil wagged his tails and bounced to another box. He noticed others coming into the area and pounced on a box before it was taken, starting to work the lock with vigor. If this goes this way, and that goes that way... The pick flew out f the lock and struck the kitsune between the eyes. Oh pretty stars... total:10

	When the stars faded Shiki blinked a few time and went back to working the lock. He would get what was inside, even if it bit him. Which for a moment it looked like the box may do... do boxes have teeth? Err.. Shiki yanked the picks away and headed to a new.. not toothy box. Total: 10
