"Thanks for the refreshments JD, but let face it, they are circling eatch other like sharks about to attack, If we don't do something, they'll be swimming with the fishes! This is deader then the morgue so its up to us to do something about it!" This dancing was not her style... she wanted something she could really bust a fin with... this was just so stiff. And there was a certain Bee-u-tiful blue, buff, boo, she wanted to sink her teeth into since RollerMaze. She looked around for him.
Then JD said something strange."What's a Vani? Ohh... The ghost ghoul, We have a lot of them where I'm from. I guess not all monsters can breath under water." She shrugged her shoulders, and continued to order more and more drinks.

"I could get Quicksilver to get it....but... he still hasn't mastered the game of Fetch yet. As in, he doesn't bring the item back... So it usually ends with me throwing something then retrieving it myself." She pouts a little. "And I'm going to have to unburry my shoes, I'm pretty sure it's why my room mate left, I don't this she likes digging much with the goo--uh!" Vani's sentence stopped mid way through her prattle when she noticed just the boo to help them with their instrument problem... "JD?" she whispers.

"Don't mind if I do." Tori slips her claw into Draconia's and wiskes her away from the mansters while they were distracted. While she wasn't the best dancer, her kinda thing involved grmnastics and learning park-rawr. She did manage not to step on any toes."Hey, sorry about stealing you from your boo-friend, it looked like you needed an out from Jimi Hexdrix, from what I could see. Wasn't he the Manster from Woestock? I think I agree with your Boo-friend, for once, he doesn't seem groovey."

"Hexcuse me, everybluddy?"Layla's voice carried over the ballroom, prompting everyone present to turn to the stage where the band had paused in their playing for her to make her announcement into the microphone."I jussst wanted to take a moment and thank you all for attending. And a ssspecial thank you to all of my school friendsss who have also graciously accepted my grimvitations."The adults present turned to the children and applauded in a dignified manner.
Layla continued, "As my mother, the Queen, did with her social guests, before the Ball, I asked all of my friendsss at school to draw names for a Sssecret Ssssanta gift hexchange."Layla smiled, obviously excited for this portion."Boos and ghouls, please find your recipient and give them their present!"The adults went to present their small tokens of the howliday to one another, while Layla briefly watched the school kids and her friends pull out their gifts to do the same.
She then drew in a deep breath and turned to Gryff."You are a very difficult boo to shop for, with such discerning tassste. Well..."She held up a small package, wrapped in a plain, brown paper. Oh how she wanted to use a more colorful and festive paper, more attuned to the spirit of the howlidays! But that annoying little gremlin and his automaton bluddy were of much help to Layla when she had asked for ideas on what to gift their 'leader' with -- and the fact that Gryff would be more appreciative on a recyclable wrapp9ing paper. Still, being a ghoul she could not help but use a bright and shiny violet ribbon to adorn it with..."...I hope you like it?"

UGGGGHHH. Relationship drama. Atomica could SENSE it on Vanissha's voice. No! No chance that she was going to let THAT get in the way of an Atomica and the R.I.P. reunion! Atomica had to prove to Lin and Cassie that a) she could do it and that b) this party NEEDED it."No time for that! C'mon!" Atomica grabbed Vanissha by one hand and Melody by the other again. She couldn't let them get distracted by-Layla LaMia "Boos and ghouls, please find your recipient and give them their present!"
But before that, Atomica wanted to see who was going to give something to HER.

"Gift time!" Rory was a bit relieved. Although the dance had been going well for him - so far, he was positive that every dance he and Peggy were doing was strictly for the benefit of her doing surveillance on Jimi Hexdrix. The two of them had been doggedly following the sinister star across the dance floor, to the punch bowl, over to the seating area, and back onto the dance floor as covertly as possible. Jimi hadn't done anything yet (other than creepily once ask a teenaged dragon ghoul to dance), but Peggy seemed determine to keep one eye on him the whole night.
Rory was glad for a little bit of a break."I got this for Astrid Fantasy. She was, uh, you remember. The ghoul who sort of appeared in the middle of Woestock from another dimension? It's a mirrored compact with some sparkly powder in it..." He looked around. Had Astrid even showed up to the dance?

Kai turned his head and found a large package held up in his face by his Secret Santa Claws, his bluddy Glen da West with a g-normous smile on his face. Glen absolutely loved giving his friends presents and when it was a booday or howliday such as this, all the better!
And he obviously went to the effort of making sure it was a sight to see as it was wrapped in a colorful (probable) magical gift wrap that seemed to be changing colors?

Essi, being as noticeable as a ghost....aside from one who kept taking photographs everywhere, sneaked away from being a wallflower. She had been asked to dance several times but felt it was too unfair to her escort. Who she didn't know arrived or not since she was honestly looking around to charge her Icoffin. "Ohh it's time?!?!" Asking no one again. She hurriedly 'clawed' around her pouch for a huge red cooler and a cardboard box with kids on it.... She looked around for Lin. Spotted! She hurriedly handed him his gift. She had baked a three layer chocolate cake with five ice cream flavors and cute little fondant flowers. It looked more Wedding than Crytpmas....plus a remote control car.

Cassie walked to the ghoul Essi, A medium sized box covered in pink wrapping paper from valentines day was in her arms.
"Essi, I hope you like it"
She handed the box to the other and then nervously moved a strand of hair out of her own face.
As Essi opened the not-so-perfectly-wrapped gift box. * Like Seriously, Cassie REALLY doesn't know how to wrap gifts* The doll's nervous eyes rested on a throw pillow, on one side it was a plain navy blue, but on the other it was a flurry of a purple and blue nebula with silver constellation embellishments and silver star-like sequins. It looked positively out of this world!
"I'm sorry if its not exactly what you like I just thought that it's space themed...and you...like...space" Her voice slowly and nervously trailed off

Melody gave a sigh of relief as she took her glove off to let her fingers breathe, Atomica had one killer grip! As she slipped her glove on she overheard it was time to exchange presents, "Oh!" As she picked up her present for Necrolin, she anticipated her surprise when Necrolin opened her gift. Although she wasn't too sure what to give her originally, she hoped she'd understand but still like it. "Now where could she be?"

Demona walked over to Atomica to give 5her the gift. Demona didn't really have much time to prepare so Atomica got (the sold out) Kyli-EEK lip kit. And the season of ANTM that demona was on and won. ALSO Demona signed the case just because Demona wanted to be funny and wanted to see Atomica's reaction to the signed DVD. "Hey bro here's your gift" Demona smiled as she handed the gift bag to Atomica who practically ripped Dee's arm off trying to get to the bag

Essi gazed and at her gift, softly stroking the sequins...
"....Miss Cassie? Do you know what this constellation is?" I guess not since she looked confused. Essi laughed a little.
"It's a very old story of good health and prosperity......it's a good luck charm!"
Essi looked it over again. This was also a fortune telling item but that wasn't as important to her as the unintentional sentiment.
"Thank you very much!"

"I'm so glad you like it. I was really worried that you didn't really enjoy space..."
She played with her shawl as she bit her lip.
"I should go...." she turned seeing Layla. She let out a heavy sigh. Debating on whether or not she should ACTUALLY leave. She looked at the time. They wouldn't miss her right??? Wait but then she would miss Atomica preform.
Fine, she'll stay
