Filled with over confidence, after all who wouldn't like a hand picked bouquet, he dunks his head into the pool. Immediately he inhales, coming up Spluttering g and coughing, face red as he tries to rid his throat and lungs of water. Not by any means a charming look, water mixed with saliva dripping everywhere with each cough.
More embarrassed then he was the day before, Tiger Beetle stalks off, his tail drooping and wishing he could hide under a rock.

"Hellooooo," singsonged Wild Green Stones. "You are in luck, because I am looking for things to put in my mouth!"
He stumbled forward and stuck his head in the pond, mouth wide open for brackish water. Surprisingly, something long and thin swam right into it, and he closed his mouth around it before it could escape. When he pulled it out it dripped from both sides of his mouth, which he held in a forced grin. At Hunter's nod he finally released it again. "Was that really a fish?" he marveled. Well, best not to question it - it'd at least been alive, and he didn't pretend to know anything about fish. He'd gotten a token, and that was actually important.

Time to Go was skulking again. Maybe it was that the loss at Wax and Wane's booth still irked her - she looked like a doe who'd set out to prove something. Thus she'd returned to the site of her first failure, in her own eyes. With a baleful glare at the sharp-toothed acha running the booth, she stuck her head into the water.
She was surprised to find that a small fish was in her mouth when she pulled her head back up. Well, she wasn't that surprised - she'd been there to catch it, after all - but it certainly was a far better result than her first attempt.
She let it drop into the water again and waited for her token - which she deserved - in silence.

Fishing! Fishing for a fish-kin is the easiest thing in the world! Right? Right. Land Shark flashed her fins and showed off her strong tail, telling stories of her great fishing prowess until it was her turn. With a flick of her tail she shoved her head into the pool, and promptly slipped on the muddy bank, plummeting into the pool with a nasty muddy splash! How embarrassing! She barks back at Fair Hunter, claiming that she was pushed, because there was no way possible that a strong fish-kin like her could fail so terribly, before running off with her nose in the air.

19. You plunge your snout into the pond and pull out the ugliest fish you’ve ever seen. It has an oily sheen to it and razor-sharp barbels. You spit it out almost immediately- was that taste really worth a token?  Snailshell's attention is caught by a fishing booth. Approaching she's slightly disappointed it's catch and release. "Hi. I'd like to try." she tells the doe, giving her a friendly smile.
Dipping her head into the pond, Spiral waits until she feels movement and snaps up the fish. Almost gagging as soon as she does, her mouth filling with its foul tasting oil. As soon as she shows her catch off she let's it go, collecting her token with a mumbled "Thanks." and going to find some place to rinse her mouth out.

Light in the Ocean remained calm and looked positively towards his future doings. "Hmm," he said, while staring at the pond again. For sure there had to be better fish in there swimming about.
He took a deep breath and dove his face underwater. Luckily nearby, there was a fish that got startled which gave the grandpa acha enough time to bite down on it and carry it out of the water in his mouth. It felt real painful as the fish squirmed inside his mouth.
When he spat out trying to save his tongue and inner walls of his mouth, he noticed that the fish he fished out was the ugliest thing he had ever laid eyes on. He never would call others ugly but this fish was uglier than an old legendary's buttcheek! "Ewwwwwwwwww," he called out while making an immature and disgusted face. He spat and immediately started to flush the gunk out of his mouth by gurgling pond water.

Splash was back for some more splashing. She also stuck her head in the water and when she felt something there, flicked it up and out with her nose. The frog landed messily on the shore and hopped away. See you later Mr. Frog! (No token!)

"I can put the fish right back if I catch one, right?" asked Soothe. Yes, apparently that was the point. "Good," she said, satisfied. She proceeded to do just that (her fish was small but cute, and helpfully undamaged - this was satisfying), and then smile gingerly at Hunter, who she recognized from Gecko's booth. "How did you transport all these fish here, anyway?"

Walk this Road wanders over to the Acha, curious what kind of fish are in her pond. "Good morning." she says before plunging her head in to find out.
What she caught was absolutely disgusting, and she happily let it go as soon as the other doe saw it. Silently she collects her token, going off to find some berries or something to hopefully get rid of the horrible taste left in her mouth.

This acha does not know when to quit and he went to visit the pond again today too. But if he sees that fish with sharp barbels again, he would not touch it and rather give up on the token than have his insides slashed open.
Still rather very optimistic that he is, Light plunged his face into the water with his eyes closed and holding his breath.
He moved about under water and bit into a fin. Slowly, he pulled it out of the water as he pulled his head out of it to breath again. The fish felt heaavy, and he hoped it was nothing scary.
When he opened his eyes, he noticed that he caught a minnow, but one that was superly overfed and fat. Eh, a fish is a fish. A fish means one token.
He showed the fish to Fair Hunter and gently put the fish back in the water.

Fishing. False Light never had the type of patience for this. War and tactics, she can do. But something as simple as this, where it is all up to chance and no guarantee of getting anything at all... But as she got something...by nipping at her! She cried an angry yelp as she reared backwards, knocking over another kin. Let's just say things didn't go well from that point onward and she left empty handed.

Filament wasn't particularly good at many things, and he wasn't particularly good at fishing either, but since it seemed forgiving enough, he felt like he had to give it a try! With a deep breath, he stuck his head under the water and emerged with a little flopping goby in his mouth. He spat it out and retrieved the token gratefully, feeling quite accomplished.
