Username: Jun D Dice Roll: 7 Kin name: Shroud Response: In retrospect, the frog kissing booth probably hadn't been the best idea, but there had been a sweet voice advertising the venture, and Shroud was always willing to give anything a try. He'd smiled genteelly and puckered up where he was pointed, and planted a game smacker on the proffered target.
Not that he could tell between one frog and another – not that he could see between one frog and another haha – but something seemed amiss as soon as he'd laid his lips on the slimy creature. For one, the pleasant-sounding doe manning the booth laughed. And it wasn't a happy sort of laugh, or even amused, as most laughs were. It sounded decidedly nervous, and Shroud figured that had something to do with the fact that the world was suddenly swimming (again).
"Oh dear," he murmured, then, "thank you kindly," as a token was pressed towards him.
"Oh, I am so sorry," he gasped, as he stumbled into what he surmised was probably the remaining frogs as a chorus of scandalised ribbits erupted, "I'm just...feeling rather odd – ooooh...could you just please kindly point me in an acceptable direction? Thank you very much!"

(+1 token) Kin name: Blue Blood Response: He was almost wanting to kiss a frog at this point, doe or no doe. He returned to try his luck only to find still, the frogs had fled, rejecting him. It was an affront. Clearly these frog had no taste, rejecting him as they did and just flat out causing the poor doe to go chasing after them. Sure he got a token for basically free, but this rejection? It was rude and wholly untrue. Maybe.. Maybe they were shy? Yes. That muct be it. They just were shy and had performance anxiety. He could understand that, sometimes he really was just too impressive of a buck.

Gecko wasn't there when Streams of Silver showed up for a frog-kiss. The doe frowned, looking around– until she'd found one of the frogs behind the stall, and a pile of tokens.
Surely she wouldn't mind if Sil happened to give it a peck, nudge it back into the cage it had been in the process of escaping, fasten the top, and help herself to a token for her efforts?
Only her integrity kept her from trying to spirit away with a mouthful. Greed was hardly becoming.

Username: Tiarana Dice Roll: 2 Kin name: Dogrot Response: Gecko must not have been paying close attention when the living soul of death itself, or like, it's stinky doggy familiar, staggered into her booth, though how one could miss the overwhelming smell was a mystery. The creature stared down at the frogs hopping around in vague alarm, finally honing in on a fat bullfrog that croaked loudly in its direction. Dogrot knelt down and stalked toward the frog. The catfish earlier might have been cruelly taken from it, but it would not miss this opportunity for a prime meal. The frog croaked. Dogrot croaked back. It stared at the frog. The frog stared back. Dogrot stared harder. The frog stared back, harder. Dogrot resolved not to blink first. A resolution that it promptly failed, because the disease of the week was "crusty eye goo" and it itched unbearably. The frog croaked again, loudly, and made a break for it. Dogrot lunged after it, clattering out of the booth on a single-minded hunt, failing to notice that the creature had not even gone in that direction.

21 December Username: FrostyPeaches Dice Roll: 9. Gecko is on union break! No kiss for you. There's a pile of tokens on the table, and you assume to help yourself to one. (+1 token) Kin name: Kiss of Death Response:Kiss decided to drop by again. Maybe today was the day to kiss a toad. Then when she gets to become a grandmother she would have hilarious stories to tell her grandchildren..some day.. She was not going to tell her kids to produce a litter of foals for her to play with. The crowd had dwindled down near the kissing booth and Kiss noticed that Gecko was already walking off behind the stand and disappear out of sight. This situation seemed all too similar... There was no Gecko.. And no Gecko means no frogs.. or toads... All there is left is a tiny pile of tokens left on the table, unguarded... "Well, it is not meant to be," she said out loud, rather happy that she got another token without having to do anything. Maybe tomorrow it will be kiss a frog day.

The doe sets a bright green and purple frog in front of him, the spots swirling together in a slightly dizzying way. Minstrel puckers his lips, leaning in close his eyes shut tight. Smooch! Right on the lips, and a rather slimy kiss too.
Deed done, Minstrel pulls his head back, keeping his expression cheery, it wouldn not do to offend the doe. Nodding he collects his prize and goes off to see the rest of the market.

He walked among the frogs of the booth for a few minutes before returning to Gecko. "I've picked my target," he declared, clearly proud of himself. "Thanks for holding this thing, hey?"
Then he leaned in and smooched Gecko right on the lips.
Unfortunately he hadn't been counting on the acha from the closest booth watching. Wait - wait, that acha was the fish one. Uh...uh...
"It's a kissing booth," he tried to argue, but he was escorted away with a lonely token regardless. Dang - he'd really tried this time, too! Maybe he might stick to Never Misses.

(+1 token) Kin name: DogResponse: It seemed his adventures brought Dog back to the kissing booth where that cute fat-tailed doe was. He'd had fun before, kissing that toad, for as odd as that sounded. But then again, he was just having fun in general at the festival. So he decided to try his luck again. Tail wagging, he puckered up and... KISSED A FROG! And he didn't mind it at all. It was sort of like kissing Bunny when he was all wet, only there was no fur. Ok, it really wasn't like kissing his familiar at all, since it wasn't a thing he normally did. But the point was that everything needed a kiss. That was the point, right? He looked up at the fat-tailed doe who seemed quite pleased, and gave him a thing. Ah, a token. Yes! He had made the pretty doe happy, so this was a good thing! She even gave him a present!

Username:Mindsend Dice Roll: 7 (I kissed Frog the Frog!) Kin name: I walk in Dreams Response: Dreams watched with a sleepy gaze observed other kin attempt to kiss the frogs set out for them. Once understanding the point of the booth, she walked up and kissed the first frog she could reach, firmly and soundly on the head. It was a rather pretty thing anyway, such bright colors and bold markings, and everyone seemed to be avoiding it, poor thing could use some attention, "And that's how it's...." The electric cyan acha blinked, shaking her head rapidly to shake off the woozy sensation washing over her, and immediately regretting it as she staggered back and forth before standing knock kneed, "Done?" I Walk in Dreams blinked at the token offered her, eyes crossed as she blinked rapidly, still not entirely sure what to make of it. "....Okay. Thanksh?" Token in mouth, the doe staggered away before collapsing to sleep off the toxins in a nearby bush. WC: 150

Kin name: Water Dancing Over Stone Response: 150 words of happenings to your kin! Waterdancer had been following her brother when the sight of a brightly colored doe and her frogs grabs her attention. Without a word to Bloodsong, she changes course and smiles at the doe. "Good morning, I'll kiss a frog."
Closing her eyes and leaning in she's just about to kiss the frog when it hops away. Instead she kisses the tree stump, earning a slightly scraped lip for her try. "Oops.. should've been looking I guess." she tells Gecko before walking off to find her brother.

"It is I, champion kisser First to Strike." The kiokote tossed his head with a grin, and then turned back to the booth to realize...no one was, uh, here.
There was a pile of stones, though. And oh - they were the valuable ones, too! Well - just one wouldn't be missed, right? He'd be liberating it! He'd have totally kissed a frog if that doe was around. He would do that now. There! Right on the head. Ha.
Now he deserved one of those tokens. "You can do the honors," he told Grumble. Grumble grumbled. He did not seem to understand. But First to Strike knew he did.
Well, whatever. He picked the top one off the pile and put it in Grumble's paw, and then they walked off together.

Username: thyPOPE Dice Roll: 6 - toad kisses! Kin name: Lily Response: 150 words of happenings to your kin! "You want me to what?" asked Lily, but the answer was pretty obvious. There were a lot of frogs here, after all. And...nothing to do to them. Couldn't she subdue one, instead? She'd been getting quite a lot of practice, over at her own booth!
She picked one that didn't look very slimy. "Look," she said, and she bent to peck it on the mouth. Ugh - it was lumpy! "I kissed it," she told the bright orange doe. Maybe she should've been paying attention: clearly the orange meant stay away. When she was told it was a toad, she shrugged, unrepentant. "I already did the kissing," she pouted.
When she eventually did get her token reward, she grinned. "Thaaank you," she said, and she made a kissy face at Gecko as she left. Who cared if she'd upset that doe? At least she'd gotten a token for that dirty work.

24 December Username: FrostyPeaches Dice Roll: 6. You end up kissing... a toad? Gecko is upset. This is not a frog AT ALL. Nonetheless, you earn a token. (+1 token) Kin name: Kiss of Death Response:Okay today definitely felt like the day that something would be available for her to kiss. Sneakily, the doe cut in line as other kin were not paying attention. She had to do it before Gecko and her companions goes on a break again. Yes it felt nice to having kissed Gecko, but she wanted to know how it would feel to kiss a frog. Slimy? Wet? Gross? Nice?? Kiss of Death was almost at the front of the line and she had to keep a close watch at Gecko. So far so good, there was no sign of her or her frogs wanting to take a break. She focused on the counter and noticed that there were little boxes on them. So this must be how it looks like for her setup. No wonder. Or else the frogs be hopping all over the place… Finally, it was her turn. She randomly picked a box and stuck her mouth at the darkness and puckered up. Ugh she could feel bumps on her lips and opened her eyes. She just witnessed herself having kissed a toad’s back! “Oh how lovely,” she replied sarcastically, “just what I wanted to kiss!” She took a quick glance at the owner of the booth who looked pretty upset right now. But in her mouth, Gecko was holding onto a shiny token. Heheh nice. But hopefully tomorrow she won’t be kissing a toad again. All she had to do is try to kiss a frog before the event is over.

Username: Chibi_Kokoro143 Dice Roll: 3. You feel disinclined to kiss the frog, suddenly. Gecko is sad, but understands. Kin name: False LightResponse: False Light moved on to the next booth and...kissing frogs? It kind of sounds too silly and almost close to those sappy fairtales. But, upon further inspection, it was true. Now frogs were food and, though False Light likes the mucous secreting thing, she prefers to kiss something a little bit more dangerous something vicious maybe. That seemed like it was right up her alley. When the doe asked her if she wanted to kiss the frog and, after thinking about it, she declined and walked away. Maybe another day she could kiss a frog but not today was not the day. but think about the frog, made her wish now for some companionship. Not another kin but some sort of pet or familiar by her side. Maybe a vicious caimen or a stinging giant wasp. She wouldn't mind a docile pet either. If she could get a frog, she would but only if it was poisonous. She smiled as she left the area. Maybe she would would look into it.

25 December ; Merry xmas Moonstone Username: FrostyPeaches Dice Roll: 3. You feel disinclined to kiss the frog, suddenly. Gecko is sad, but understands. Kin name: Kiss of Death Response:Amazingly, today was the day were the booth was FILLED with frogs and many kin! Were they that excited to kiss slimy things? Or were they trying to bet against the odds to plant a kiss on Gecko? The doe stood there pacing back and forth wondering which box to pick since the counter had wooden boxes decorated with festive things. Today must be a special day. She just waited and looked around as the other kin had their go. She knew she was ready and prepared but the thought and image of having kissed a toad’s back lingered in the back of her mind. Ugh. Her saliva somehow tasted nasty all of sudden. Her stomach feeling a bit upset. The more she stayed near this booth and thinking about the toad and the other frogs she could be kissing the more she wanted to throw up. When it was finally her turn, she psyched herself out and backed away. “Sorry, maybe not today,” she told Gecko and ran away to find the closest pond to rinse her mouth. The bitter taste made her stomach feel all weird…
