It suited him. Bren snorted out a single huff of laughter at the sight of his interestingly placed tattoo, holding back any further comments on the subject.
He pressed his lips together, debating whether or not to actually answer her question or try to change the subject so he wouldn't have to get into it. With a sigh he replied, "It's a potion shop in town. I've been interning there for a month or so, I guess?"

As usual, Mahlan dropped to the reaper's booth for her daily present from who-knows-who. This time...uh, the reaper's been scratching something off his head. Was that...a tattoo similar to hers? Absentmindedly picking another present, she opened it on the spot and found a small stamp...with a NICE FOREHEAD written in black ink. Hrmm. She can use this for PRANKS! On her way back to her and Shiki's booth, Camilla stops by at her favorite booth along the way. The box she picked up was small, yet a bit weighty. After carefully unwrapping it, the Dormouse ghoul finds a small ice colored stone. Curiously, she pulls it out of the box only for a small cloud the form the moment she held it in her hand! "Ooo!" she squees excitedly as snow begins to fall down onto her hand! She could have snow all year round with this! Not that a cold intolerant Dormouse needed snow all year round, she wouldn't be cold intolerant forever however! "Thanks!" she chirp to the booth owner before pocketing the snow rock and heading on her way. Smerdle presents! minisite username: Rikku Takanashi

Nerisei got the chance to wander around once more, her mind set that she would avoid the icy land of making snowblobs and see if there were any other interesting things to offer. It was a slow meander, and her eyes often got distracted with the creeple over the booths. However, eventually she made way to an interesting booth filled with presents of all shapes and colors. It appears that many others were enjoying the said booth, and were getting gifts from the location.
Maybe she would find something of her own through her wandering.
As she approached the booth, Nerisei waited for some of the more surly creeple to get out of the way before she stood in front of the stand. She eyed the boil as he waved his arm at the presents before her, and took a long moment to evaluate each and every one. When her eyes finally landed on the long, thin present that was wrapped in more green than red, Nerisei nodded to herself and delicately lifted it and moved away. The crowd was gathered, and she didn't plan on being too close to others if she could help it.
Stepping fully away, Nerisei studied the packaging for another long moment before her long fingers began to peel it away. It took more time than most - other monsters seemed keen to tear it apart and leave a pile of shredded paper in their wake. However, Nerisei liked the paper she selected, and didn't want to do any lasting damage. Maybe she could use it as inspiration in the future.
When she finally got to the box, she pulled it open to reveal a...light wand. A sigh escaped Nerisei's lips as she took out the poor twig that had a pom-pom glued to it's top. The pom did seem to emit a bit of a glow, but it still was quite the frustrating thing to see such a glorious plant be reduced to a children's toy. Glancing around, she could see that there were others who received the same thing, and she shook her head accordingly. Placing both the wrapping and the gift in the little bag she held, Nerisei decided to move on to the next both and see if anything better would come her way.Smerdle presents! minisite username: Elyessi

Damaris was back and was in the same awe struck attitude as she had been the previous times. She was thinking she was actually going to miss with wondering place and the event. It was, after all, one of the first big events she had had to pleasure of participating in since she had arrived at the school. Besides the classes and such, of course. The Terron wandered around for quite some time before her stormy gaze landed on a rather quint looking box. It was a baby blue color with a frosty-white ribbon tying it shut. Damaris grasped the ribbon as delicately as she would plucking a flower, lifted the lid and looked inside. It was a book. It had an emerald-colored covering but it was still very appealing to the eye. The note inside stated what it could do and Damaris wasn't entirely sure if it was accurate or not. "Oh, cool!" Brenley was saved from immediately having to answer a plethora of questions when Piper spotted a particularly shiny present. Maybe lucky would be with her, and Bren had something nicer there...Maybe something special for her? That was totally why it was sparkly, right?
Her hopes had been somewhere along the enchanted jewelry line when she picked up the slender box. Those hopes, however, were quickly dashed. It was just a piece of string are you Jacking kidding. Cheapskate.
"So how's that working out?" Piper asked as she waved the string around experimentally, making a face when nothing happened. "Are they paying you? Can I visit sometime?" Maybe they had a better selection there...
