Quote: Results for November 18-19:If you are traveling from the Wooded Glen: A) You follow the antlerbeast off the beaten path and quickly find yourself jogging to keep up. You lose a lot of energy dodging, dashing and trying not to spook it out of your sight, but at last you seem to emerge in a mushroom buffet. You lose 2 stamina and gain 3 mushrooms. You are now located in the Deep Woods. B) You travel along the beaten path. There aren’t very many mushrooms to be found here, as other hunters and hikers have either picked or trampled them. But, the walk is quite easy and very familiar! You gain 1 mushroom. You are now located in the Picnic Area. C) You stay on the outer edges of the woods, traveling a winding and lengthy path. It’s scenic but tiring, though you find a couple of specimens on your way. You lose 1 stamina and gain 2 mushrooms. You are now located in the Forest Edge.
Item Results: If you used the snack bars, the forest creatures seem to be more keen to come to you! You attract a friendly nutbeast that scampers off towards a very large tree - one of very old growth that happens to prove fruitful! You gain 3 mushrooms.
If you used the potato sack, you empty out the remnants of the sack and found that there are a couple of leftover fungi in here. Nice! You gain 2 mushrooms.
If you are traveling from the Meadow: A) You take the wandering path. It’s a pleasant balance between grass heights and leads you to a simply magical clearing inhabited by hoofbeasts. Fantastic! You gain three mushrooms. You are now located in the Forest Edge. B) You trek into the deep grass, which quickly becomes an obstacle and dreary to trudge through. Luckily, the relative uncharted territory means that you find some bare spots with loot inside. You lose 2 stamina and gain 2 mushrooms. You are now located in the Tall Grass Patch. C) You follow the colorful flowers, picking up a mushroom as you go. As the pastel flowers grow in vibrance, however, you notice something a little strange – a slight tingly sensation in your fingertips! You lose 1 stamina and gain 1 mushroom. You are now located in the Poisoned Glade.
Item Results: If you used the mushroom snufflin’ gerbils, you’re in luck. Their wobbly little nubs go to work immediately and shuffle into the grasses that you can’t see through the thicket. They procure 2 mushrooms for you!
If you used the City Slicker’s Field Guide to Farmland, you manage to flip to the section on open meadows. Fortunate! You gain 3 mushrooms in your newfound wisdom. Choice for November 20-21:If your location is the Deep Woods: The deep woods are dark and uneven, with a thick undergrowth of tangling vines and ferns. Moss, lichen and canopy absorb nearly all of the light scattering through. As you progress you notice that the woods become deeper and thicker, until soon it’s very difficult to traverse. You can hear the faint sounds of water moving nearby. A) Squeeze through the trees B) Follow the water sounds
If your location is the Picnic Area: What appears to be a leftover picnic area from an abandoned park. Some old worn out signage warns of dangerous Alternian fauna sightings – likely a cause for the decline in the park’s popularity. There’s a large river nearby at the edge of the clearing. A few trees, one with a surviving tire swing, stand near by. They’re marked up by playful troll-made writing carved into the bark as well as the occasional claw and scratch mark.
A) “Investigate” the tire swing. B) Go upstream. C) Go deeper into the woods.
If your location is the Forest Edge: After a while, the outskirts of the forest edge become untraveled and rather marshy. Mushy grasses begin to populate, while a treacherous trail leading into the darkness forks into the drier forest.
A) Climb a tree to spot a better path B) Continue along the marshy outskirts C) Follow the treacherous trail
If your location is the Poisoned Glade: Noxious, fruity smells mixed with fresh rot fill your sniffnode; brightly colored plants meet your view. There’s a great sense of danger here, and even standing in the wet, tinted glade makes you feel dizzy. Near the outside of the glade there are fewer plants, but greater marshland, while a running stream cuts through the middle. The driest area of the glen boasts deep yellow pitcher plants nearly shoulder-height to an adult troll.
A) Cut straight through the plants B) Ford the river C) Keep towards the outside of the glade.
If your location is the Tall Grass Patch: There isn’t much to see in the tall grass patch. Before you know it, it’s over your head and tangling around your feet!
A) Try to push through the thicket B) Backtrack
The next choice will be posted on November 22nd.

Quote: A-trekking through the woods I go!Troll: Miache Gahiji Inventory: Daywalker Spray, mushroom snufflin' gerbils, city slicker's field guide to farmland, 'used' bowie knife, night vision goggles Location: Forest Edge Choice Picked: A Item Used: Bowie knife Mushroom Count: 2 Stamina: 9/10 Two mushrooms. Not a bad haul. He puffed his chest trimphantly. Clearly staying the course had been the right choice, following the windy (if a bit tiring) path. Miache glanced around the edge of the forest and pursed his lips at the sight of the marshy grounds. Well.....he may be stuck in the swamp, but he refused to trek through the muck if he could avoid it.....but the more risky path was rather dark and who knew what lurked beyond the shadows. Neither was a very ideal path. His eyes followed the trees, though, as the idea struck him. Maybe from a better vantage point he could spot a better path! Or hell, maybe he could even see further down the dark and spooky path.
Heaving a heavy grunt the blueblood hauled himself up a low-hanging branch, huffing with exhaustion almost immediately. He wasn't built for tree climbing....he knew some trolls spent all their time climbing trees or running around the forest....but that wasn't him, he wasn't the troll of action. He was the type that was more....reserved and mature......ugh. He hated admitting defeat though so he pushed those thoughts aside as he continued hauling himself up, bowie knife in hand just in case. (One could never be over-prepared for some creature jumping out at him.)

Quote: A-trekking through the woods I go! Troll: Sephos Arbola Inventory: 8/10 Stamina City Slickers Field Guide to Farmland Potato Sack Daywalker Spray “Used” Bowie Knife Super Protein Snack Bars Location: Deep Woods Choice Picked: B: Following the water sounds Item Used: Potato Sack Mushroom Count: 3 As he'd thought – there would be good mushroom pickings deeper in. It had been a long trek over uneven ground, but, frankly, that was an everyday stroll for Sephos. Though he'd lost the hoofbeast's trail, that was not a problem for him. The woods were his home, and despite actually enjoying the festival, being in the woods – even in a wood not his own – was relaxing. And such a wild part of it, too! Sephos took a few promising cuttings (especially the ferns) for back home, placing them in the ever lovely potato sack as he continued his search for mushrooms. It was dark and eerie, but Sephos was used to thick growth. Now. Where would the likeliest place be to find mushrooms? In the dark... well, that was the case here. They needed to be damp, though, so... maybe near the water...? No, though, they couldn't be too wet... However, he didn't have a flashlight or other light source handy. Normally, he had some sort of lantern or luminescent (bio or otherwise), but he'd apparently forgotten something like that... ”Hmm.” he grunted, hefting the potato sack. To the water, then, it was. He might find something interesting along the water's edge...

Quote: A-trekking through the woods I go! Troll: Aconan Eyulft Inventory: Super Protein Snack Bars Night Vision Goggles Daywalker Spray Mushroom Snufflin' Gerbils Colourful Yarn Balls Location: Deep Woods Choice Picked: B Item Used: Night Vision Goggles Mushroom Count: Three! Stamina: 8/10 As Aconan chased after the antlerbeast, she soon found herself left behind, even with Loupsus's assistance to go faster in some places. It wasn't unexpected, because tracking and hunting antlerbeasts was an excercise in being careful and fast, and these were woods she didn't know, but it was still a little frustrating - at least until she spotted that bounty of mushrooms! A feral grin flickered across Aconan's face, and she examined the mushrooms closely, taking the three biggest. She left the smaller ones so that the mushrooms would continue to flourish. Aconan was well educated in good foresting etiquette, mainly thanks to survival guides she'd read through, but also due to hunting in Four Fronds at the base of Busthind, where she lived in her cave-hive. Carefully placing the mushrooms in her satchel and making sure they wouldn't get crushed, the greenblood looked around at her current surroundings. She hadn't lost her way so to speak (and even if she had, Loupsus would lead her back - though she'd get the dissapointed face) but it was worth checking out. Wow. It was dark here, even for troll eyes. Hmm...hadn't she....yes! Rummaging through her satchel, Aconan brought out the Night-Vision goggle and attached them to herself, lighting up the forest for herself. Then she cocked her head...was that the sound of water? It was! Mushrooms liked the damp, so Aconan decided to head that way.
