After what seemed like forever, the party finally managed to reach their end goal. Aiden looked over the shards that were scattered before them, mixing in with the flora, and carefully stepped closer. When the vines started to move and the shards started to rattle he was quick to bend and grab the closest shard. He then spared a glance to the other two to make sure they were following then booked it out of the area, waiting for them only when he himself was out of the vines. With the craziness of the randomly attacking creature taking up most of his attention, Rhys didn't even realize that he already made it to the other side of the lake until he heard Aiden land just nearby him. His eyes moved on to the pile of shards just ahead of them, and then on to the vines that were creeping in closer and closer with each passing second. He quickly leaned down and picked whichever one up and once again was right on Aiden's tail as they booked it out into the safety beyond the vines.
Damn vines.
