Personality: A dull sword must be sharpened, cleaned, and oiled to regain it's luster. When wielded by a true master with respect for their blade is the only time when a sword truly shines. But Nacre wasn't a dull sword. Once she was a mass of impure iron, untempered and never having seen a hammer. Once she was a delicate flutter, content to serve as a beautiful set piece to hang off of someone's arm and nothing more, but these days she shines brighter than any other.
Every day she sharpens her skills, she strives to become more than she was the day before, never again will she return to being nothing but a weak object. She must know everything, beat everything, do everything, otherwise what was all her hard work for? This is both her greatest strength, and her greatest failing. Because to be the best, someone else must be worse. The idea of someone knowing something she doesn't, having the affection she desires, they are direct threats to her sense of self. She must be more than because just being is not good enough.
An intelligent pony, she admires perfection and symmetry, however her overly-logical thinking sometimes gets her into trouble. She often completely misses non-liner thinking, or the intricacies of social interaction. Because her world is so perfectly balanced, the slightest change or bump can throw everything off kilter and have her making completely irrational decisions.
But beyond her insecurities, beyond her strength, the part of Nacre that shines the brightest of all is her devotion. Her single-minded drive to love someone to the point that she would give up even her own life for their happiness. Despite all of her failings, she tries her best for those that she has devoted herself to. Everything she is, everything she wants to be, are all for the sake of those who believe she can be everything.

Dislikes: Clutter, disorder, being told she's wrong, Comet Chaser (to an extent), unruly behavior, eating (just because she has to doesn't mean she likes it), cooking, food in general, most jokes (right over her head)
