Scáthach paused mid-pace as the healer speaks up, head slowly turning to look this human over. Oddly this female didn't seem afraid like the others which made the feline curious despite her anger. "Hmph, at least you see more reasonable than that ninny." She takes a moment to find a spot clear of any debris to sit, tail once again wrapping around her paws. Her head tilts to the side as she examines the green haired female more closely. "Milk. The humans in the town I used to live by would leave me a bowl of milk at night. They also had some respect for me unlike some of you." The maid is rewarded with a nasty glare before the feline looks towards the barrel, head tilting to the other side. She had never seen a slime creature before and apparently neither had these humans. "Perhaps the fog dragged the little slime creature here as well..."

Things were beginning to get rather interesting now...Silho grinned her form curling up with expression. She slithered along the wall of what she could now see was some sort of eatery, long limps like narrow trunks as she stepped along the wall panels, silent as shadows do. Her form resembled more of a deer, her eyes traveling the form trying to figure out what to focus on… This...cat….seemed like the best bet for entertainment. Yes….heh yes this was an interesting place. All her fear had escaped her now, her form almost consuming the whole wall as she turned in the corner, making her way to the shadow belonging to the cat. She stared at the shadow being created by the cat, slipping into it, making it grow. It wriggled larger and larger, making it comically big, Silho grinning the whole while, making a silly face, trying to startle the pointed eared human. She stood on her two back legs, making the shadow dance with her, cackling soundlessly as her nature. The form huffed like an angry wolf after piglets, ebbing and flowing like water waves, twisting like a snake. Silho grinned, trying to get the attention of the taller human thing. She traveled up the wall taking up the whole wall now, pulling a silent face, making frightening looking claws, bringing them in close to the cats feet, tickling her shadow. Would they notice the shadows dancing about them? Because the shadows do fancy their reactions.

The Alpha snarled at the Galemn as it charged at him, baring fangs and springing deftly to the side to avoid the hit. Its pack mates snapped at the creature as it speed past them, teeth scraping along its scaly hide. The leader gave a sharp bark, and suddenly the two that had hidden in the crops sprang out, effectively circling the reptilian creature.

Goopy wiggled, and wiggled and wiggled, freedom would soon be his! Ah- huh? The barrel stopped moving! No matter how hard Goopy pushed, the barrel would no longer budge. This barrel is cheating! Goopy blurbled indignantly at the bottom of the barrel, he was a barrel prisoner once more.

Yvenne almost laughed at the cats request. Of all the things it wanted, it was the one thing this town had the least supply of. Lonnie would talk non-stop about his beloved bovine, the only cow in the entire town. Oh, he had aspirations to get another someday, but right now that was what he was stuck with. As for the respect thing...well... "Unfortunately, you have arrived at a point when we are ill-equipped to provide you with the milk you desire...and at a time when the townsfolk are on edge from the fog occurring a few nights ago...and..." she stopped mid-sentence, eyes following a monstrous shape growing and writhing along the wall behind the maid. Her eyes snapped back to the cat. "You are not doing that to try and scare me, are you?" she asked it levelly.

It was coming down with both claws like a demented feline leap. << Howly meat tough... Not picky right now>> It thought dully as it let gravity carry it to it's next target.

"Maybe just a bit of meat the-" The healers last comment has the feline turning around to look at whatever had caught the females attention. She blinks in confusion as she stares at what should have been her shadow, "That is most certainly not me."

The other watched as the monster sprang toward it, hackles raised it backed away from the falling creature, crouching low to spring at the vulnerable neck.
At the same time, another to the side snapped at the Galemn's heels, dodging the thick, rudder-like tail before circling round to the other side of it to serve as a distraction, while the Beta moved forward, slinking into the shadows to find the vantage point to make the killing move..

Yes! Silho was noticed! She bubbled with glee, they did not seem scared, though. Which upset her...she shifted a bit, turning her form resembling that of a goat man, horns curling skyward, her eyes still hallow as she moved her arms down, traveling the floor, shooting to the woman’s feet as if grabbing for her with malice.

The Healer backed away a few paces from the reaching shade-being, looking to the cowering maid for assistance. "Annalise...it is dark in here, Would you mind fetching us a candle as we talked?" The sun had set, and in her mind, being able to see the thing would be rather nice at the moment. The maid nodded shakily and bolted from the room to go get the fire flint, hands knocking together as she tried to light the wick. After a few tries, she finally managed to get it lit, its glow spreading throughout the room.

Silho stopped having fun, immediately as soon as she saw the flint, but she was to late , light filled the room and she shrank rather quickly, screaming in her silent way. She shrank, desperate to find something less direct. She was to weak from hunger to hold her own, even to this indirect light. She squirmed, searching for something to hide I- There! Silho formed herself like a mouse, scampering quickly, running to the womans shadow, hiding herself within it. She looked up at her, her eyes blinking curiously up at her as she cowered in the shadow of her heel.

The feline watches the strange shadow curiously as it hides in the healer woman's shadow. This was another creature she wasn't familiar with and she wasn't sure how to feel about it making mischief in her shadow. She walks towards the healer to curiously bat at the woman's shadow with a paw.

Shao Kashana GalemniusIt fell on the other wolf with all of its weight << Squish>> It's claws smashing the furry face as it landed. << Many cracks pops...>> It took the bait at it's heels and turned with brutal lunging swipe to the side of the next wolf, claws rent flesh as it hit home. << Bye bye howly... Special meat not for you...>> This left it open to the unseen wolf on it's flank however. Too late, the crouching wolf saw claws rake down at its head with tremendous force, and then it saw no more. The one at its heels yelped as the claws dug into its flesh, the momentum sending it spiraling. It struggled to its feet, trying to do its duty to the Alpha. The injured one by the leader gave a pained whimper that its fellow packmember had met an end, turning to snarl at the lizard beast, inching forward hop by hop on its good leg. The leader, growled at it to stop. He did not want to lose all the members of his pack in this, even if one was crippled now...giving a commanding bark, he led his remaining pack members slowly away from the Galemn, fading away into the forest edge...
But they will return later...

Morning of Day Five The antics at the Inn continued through the night, Yvenne taking the opportunity to position Martha more comfortably than just being slumped in the chair, her eyes keeping watch over the ones staring back at her from her own shadow. She set a plate of some spiced apples down for the cat creature to eat while they negotiated a way to keep her from breaking more of the Innkeepers belongings. With a thought, she also put some of the apples within the barrel for the slime to eat, watching the food enter its body with fascination. Cailly ventured her way down to where the slime was kept captive, chattering excitedly at seeing her green friend again. Why did it not come out to play again? She looked over to the maid that was keeping a hold of the barrel while the Healer went about the building. She tried wriggling under Annalise's hand to get her to release it, but was just patted on the head and moved away. ------------------------ The Twiggs had come home after unsuccessfully locating the Healer, taking a rest for a majority of the day after making sure everything was fine. Soundly asleep after being up for an entire day and a half, they did not stir when the wolves attempted to attack the farm, or even hear the Galemn escaping when it did. Lonnie stood numbly at the scene in front of him. A wolf's corpse splayed out by his corn field and the lizard creature, deep gashes along its sides, sat there with its tail thumping excitedly against the dirt. He looked to his sister with a grin. "Can we keep it?" ------------------------ Beety once again packed her granddaughter's pack with the orders from the store. She felt something crinkle at the bottom, and pulled out a vibrantly colored flyer featuring a traveling troupe known around the areas. She smiled widely. It looks like they are coming to their quiet little town soon!
