Eren Jaegerbomb we could also go with that the Apocalypse has already happened and the survivors are trying to work out how to survive this "new" world E.g. Zombies - finding/building a safe area for people to take refuge Global warming - civilisation building around the fact that most of the world is now under water, what it means for transport/govenment etc Nuclear - are they gonna hide in the shelters for the rest of their life or are they gonna risk it to see if the radiation is gone. has the world changed since they went under ground? What if not all the rooms are after the apocalypse, and others are currently undergoing or about the begin the apocalypse? I really like the nuclear one. I've read too many apocalypse novels with civilization being underground and such, they were all epic. <3 just noticed I hit edit instead of quote again. >.< Sorry Eren gonk

troubled-pasta 14Mushrooms There could be people affected by radiation in a post-apocalyptic room. I'm not sure about the elemental part though, so instead what about 'powers' that enchances the brain/mind, maybe give esp? Since we did a party sort of thing last year, I think doing something different this year would be more original. Plus, I'm not sure how having a party would prove that the planet doesn't deserve to be destroyed. (Maybe it's by showing how much fun the planet has or something?) Demonic stuff could step on people toes, but it sounds pretty fun actually...heh. Zombies x Demons anyone? I got the idea that not everyone had powers, just the folks who were exposed to a lot of radiation? And there was the iron messing peoples powers up last year too. Thank you for the ideas! emotion_hug I'm definitely thinking mutations caused by radiations should be a thing in the Nuclear room, otherwise the only way it can really go is Mad Max style visuals, and that could be a bit bland. That being said, I'd steer clear of X-Men level mutations because that overlaps too much with the idea of superheroes. I'm thinking it would be for a mostly aesthetic purpose rather than significant god-modding power. Forgot about the X-Men xD emotion_hug

I'm thinking the fallout room could go the way of the Fukushima Daisies, where the mutations just cause biological irregularities, so things like wings, horns, tails, etc aren't too far fetched. Maybe.

That could happen...I think.

Well, that seems like it'd be more suited to a futuristic/science theme than a fallout. This trailer pretty much sums up the aesthetic I'm visualising, but possibly with a bit more of a fantasy twist (like fairies and elves and whatever else you see on Gaia).

Hahah ikr? The hype is so real. And well I mean it's pretty easy to replicate Fallout. Like they went with 50s, but we could do anything from that point onwards really. And yeah, pretty much! Like, instead of it being only guns, there could be magic adepts, shapeshifters, etc. Basically a less cyber, more punk, non-futuristic Shadowrun.

I'm good at world-building, but not very good at figuring out what goes on in said worlds. I'm leaning towards wanting it to be a post-apocalyptic scenario, but other than that, I have no idea.
