In fact, it might have been the perfect opportunity for her other Nidoran to get in some training. This one was a Lv. 12 Pokemon but she needed to contemplate a bit about this Pokemon. The first Magnemite used Light Screen which mean that special attacks wouldn’t be too effective. That would include Charmander’s attacks. As much as she didn’t like it the girl didn’t want to risk a fainted Charmander on her team. Instead, she switched out the male Nidoran for the female one.

This was an ideal training ground. Although she couldn’t quite train the others her weaker members were getting a great training session. The battle was getting down to the nitty gritty as the trainer appeared to become more frustrated. Perhaps he was recalling how her team swept the battle last time too. He probably needed to look for different steel Pokemon if he was going to make any progress in his journey. ”Thank you for the battle! Through the light fog that covered the city, Grayson and Emmet walked about aimlessly in silence. The two men, though not technically enjoying each other's company, were content in remaining quiet, at least until they passed by the Pokémon Tower. Without a word Grayson stopped and stared up at the tall building, his expression blank, and immediately Emmet stopped and turned to look at him. "You'd like to visit, I assume?" he guessed, taking the few steps needed to rejoin the younger male. Grayson shrugged. "Don' see why not," he muttered, then closed his eyes before he exhaled slowly.
He could feel it within him, just how much spirits resided in the sleepy town and the Pokémon Tower, as to be expected, was where the majority of those departed resided. It caused the hair on the back of his neck to stand up, and something to stir inside. This much 'supernatural' activity was enough to wake the 'other him', and while he was aware of the risks visiting the Pokémon Tower was, he was... curious.
Stifling a yawn Grayson turned around and began walking back from where they'd come from, "let's go and round up my pokemon." Emmet nodded silently, pushing his glasses back up, though lingered behind just long enough to look up at what had quickly become their next destination. "Hm," he hummed softly before he shook his head. He'd never visited such a large gravesite before, though he doubted there'd be much interest to be found there. After all, it only held the dead, those left behind in mourning, and the occasional ghost; that wasn't exactly 'exciting'.

With Grayson setting the, sluggish, pace it took the two men several minutes to locate the younger trainer's pokemon. Just in time too, as they arrived to see Morta face off against a rather impressive sight, a Reshiram. "Your Gengar is in need of medical attention," Emmet observed, gaze traveling towards the legendary and then the trainer who commanded it. "I'm surprised a town like this holds this many trainers," Grayson mused dully, far less interested in his pokemon's health. The male stuck his hand into his pocket, eyelids falling over his eyes, leaving him with the appearance of being half-asleep. "Morta," he called out. "Hurry this up."
The Gengar, though she didn't turn around, only frowned before she hacked out a large, purple blob. She didn't wait to see how much damage she'd done, flashing back to her trainer's side with the widest of grins; she was pleased. Grayson didn't pay attention. "The same goes for the rest of you," he called out, Aita taking the time to float over to him and settle himself onto his shoulder. "We've got places to be." While Grayson was giving out orders, he ignored the steady line of glares a small group of nearby trainers shot him. Emmet did the same, his interest remaining with the battles still going on.
"I take it these are your pokemon?" One man swaggered up to Grayson, frown on his face. The pale teen sighed before he turned, one hand reaching out to scratch Aita's cheek. "Nah, I jus' take care of 'em and tell 'em what to do," he quipped. The man scoffed, "smart a**, eh? Well, look here, the rest of us don't appreciate you letting your pokemon run wild on ours." Grayson turned to look at his pokemon, a smirk pulling up when Styx easily took out an Aerodactyl. "Sounds like you need to work on training your pokemon more," was his only response, eyes refusing to stray from the battle. "T-tch..."
Grayson yawned and rolled his free shoulder back, waiting the last few minutes needed for his team to finish up. Once done, he gathered up the rest of his team, returning Morta, then took the time to dismiss the rest of the trainers with a, languid, two-fingered salute. Emmet didn't even bother with that, pushing his glasses back up, before he fell in line with the taller male as he made for the Pokémon Center. On his way there, Grayson took the time to sweep appraise his team, assessing who he'd need to hand over to Nurse Joy.
"Heh. You seem to always come out unscathed," Grayson mused, in regard to Aita. The Magikit purred, feeding off his trainer's amusement and responding in kind, before he settled down to continue his sightseeing. "And you look like you've gotten stronger." He looked up at Tartarus, who strode ahead with its head held high, before reaching out to pat the beast on the chest; a hollow sound echoing out each time his palm made contact with the scaly hide. Inwardly, Grayson was a tad less enthused as he appeared. He knew enough of the Ghoizard line to know that, nothing good came out of allowing one to grow too strong, too fast. He'd need to switch it out, soon, and give it a cool down period. Though even that would be considered moot, since Tartarus still had a hold of that Exp. Share.
Aaaaah well. He'd think of something.
