Turn 7Corrinne's Attack x6: 15 - 10 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) (-15% From Stamina = 80% Defence Chance)FAILED! 75 - 30 = 45 Damage The Reaper Crab had seen the discomfort on the woman's face as it bounced her staff away from it and it shuddered with excitement. It was merely happy to see the discontent on her face. Any sort of discomfort was opportunity to abuse the situation and bring more of that discomfort to her. She didn't like when it vibrated her staff the way that it did, so perhaps it just needed to do more things like that. But, even as her attacks bounced back and were deflected away, the woman remained in an infuriatingly positive state. Sure she seemed bummed out and tired in certain ways, but at the same time, she was still so god damn full of childish energy. She started jumping around in the middle of the battle and throwing punches into the air as if she had time to waste. The Reaper Crab wanted to just rush in and beat her to death while she was doing these antics, but it was so stunned by the woman's lackadaisical attitude that it couldn't even move until she had picked her weapon back up and readied herself. By this time, it was too late, and she had already begun her assault anew. It had to keep deflecting these blows, however. It was the only way it was possibly going to win this. It was a battle of attrition. As soon as she was too tired to go on, it would be easy for the crab to--holy s**t! The attacks came faster than it had expected. It raised its claws with all of its might to knock the first away, and then spun its body to move the already raised claws to intercept the second attack. As the third came in the claws slammed down on the metal weapon, hoping to make the same sort of vibrations as before shoot up her arms. But as the fourth came in, the Reaper was baffled as it raised its claw and the woman's weapon slammed against the side of it and kept going. The staff seemed to have been wearing down the shell of the Reaper Crab, and this time it shattered the tip of the claw off completely and the Crab roared in pain as the blood began to spurt out of the end of the claw. As she continued her assault, the Reaper charged forward ,planting its head directly into her stomach to launch her backwards and stop her attacks as it screeched in agony. This b***h! This b***h has broken its claw! She needed to die! Die! DIE!!! The crab, at this point, was in a relentless frenzy. It rushed in toward her with reckless abandon and slammed its claws down one final time, trying to bash her skull in.Quote: Reaper CrabB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 25/160 Skill: 5 Strength: 12 Defence: 10 Tactical Advantage: Sadist: You revel in the pain of others, A.I. or human alike. Raindrops are my tears, wind is my breath and my story, branches and leaves are my hands, because my body is wrapped in roots. When comes the season of a thaw,
Horns and blades clashed yet again, their dull ring resounded all over the silent classroom, save for their breathing, heart beats and the noise they generated as A.I. and human fought for supremacy. The belle steeled herself as the beast used it horn to slam her to the ground hard! "Impressive..." a murmur of praise escaped her as Quantiis twisted her body before the impact and kicked off to stay out of the Elder Wolf's range. To analyze the battle situation and change her tactics accordingly or not at all.
Quantis can feel fatigue sipping into her muscles and mind; sweat damping her forehead. While her body had the assistance of her suit that made half of her acrobatic and anything she had done so far possible, her mind only had her mental fortitude to support it. The idea of being skewered by those sharp and unbending horns of the Elder Wolf was there in her head and it was only for time to tell when the stress comes to hit her hard; making that simple image created by her imagination from pieces of memories, people who suffered defeat on a Elder Wolf, a reality.
The classroom was trashed; nothing much was left of the room that wasn't ravaged by their fight. So much for a memorable place. She though to herself before taking a deep breath and moved the second she released the air contained in her lungs. If she can't deal a fatal blow, deal one that would lead to crippling the enemy!
With her blades poise to attack, her sprint led her to the flank of the beastly A.I. She kicked debris of a desk to the face of the Elder Wolf. In the same time, her arm lashed out to attack the legs of the beast A.I. once horizontally. With using one foot as a pivot, she spun and sliced vertically coming from below to above with her other arm.
Regardless if she succeeds or not, Quantis would ran outside of the classroom with the Elder Wolf in tow. The corridors would prove to be a better place to fight the monster with its size and Quantis having the advantage in terrain.

TURN 8 Reaper Crab Attack x1: 98% - 15% = ((83% Defense Chance)) (6 Attacks) __________________________________ Corrinne could see the reaper crab grow giddy at the prospect of defeating her and this somewhat angered her. All this fighting and it still wanted some more, where she just wanted it to be finished. She didn't have the knowledge to operate her weapon properly and she found this to be a disadvantage even if she was still able to use it to clobber the heck out of the Core. They were locked in combat till finally another piece of the creature gave and some of his claw disconnected from the rest of its body. Blood spurted out and made Corrinne jump, for some reason she didn't realize that it could bleed and this disturbed her. Her eyes widened in shock as it screeched in pain. The next thing she knew the creature head-butted her away to make some distance between them. The feeling of its hard head in her gut alarmed her and she allowed it to move her body upwards and out. Looking down at it in the process she felt pity for it and wanted to help it, even though she knew they were locked in battle. And it was either kill or be killed. She didn't like the sound of the later.
Once it had retrieved its baring, it launched into another attack, which Corrinne found amazing since it seemed to be in so much agony. The claws billowed down toward her and blood dripped onto her arms and chest before she lunged away again. These leaps weren't happening as fast as they were before and she could feel her agility waining. Taking the opportunity as its large claws crushed into the earth again, Corrinne leapt in with her staff and began to continue the constant barrage of attacks. Feeling worse since she could see the pain it was in but non the less ruthless.

▌Marthun If we could all just learn to speak to just one other person, ▌Gartun I'm sure we would find that the world would become much smaller.
Turn 07 100 - (-7) = 99% - 15% = 84%
Marthun noted the futility of his attacks and thus the seeming futility of these whole battles, he would have to train himself further for years before he ever went out on an actual mission, there was simply no way a baiter at initiation could fight off an actual low ranking AI. These things even in a weakened state stood a chance at fighting people off, it made no sense that the initiation process for an AI killing team could die at initiation getting the AI for their code cores. Why not just get one experienced baiter to collect code cores and trap Ai in them and transfer the cores to each person who volunteered.
Marthun quickly snapped back to reality as the harbinger launched a bolt at Marthun which caused Marthun to narrowly twist of the way and as the bladed arm came at him Marthun clapped his hands down onto the blade stopping it in its tracks sending a gust of wind blowing his hair about. Marthun Twisted inward rotating around and aiming an elbow strike for the hip joint of the Harbinger and rotated around again, back to the front, bending under the blade and aiming to strike at the front with a strong armed strike at the center of the chest.
Aiming these strikes was easy but the power behind them, the killing intent, seemed to be quickly diminishing from his strikes. It was as if he simply didn't care anymore, even if he died he did so fighting what he promised to fight. Especially in the place he promised to fight them.

Turn 8Corrinne's Attack x6: FAILED! DEAD The Reaper Crab was bleeding profusely from the end of its claw, and even as it swung the heavy appendages down toward Corrinne, the blood sprayed across her face and body, though her defence was not phased by the liquid spattering across her visage. The crab was in agony, to be sure, but it was not going to give up. It couldn't give up. It still had hope to land a blow on the woman and take her out. It needed blood! It needed to satisfy its need to kill, and if it could not kill the woman, at the very least it wanted to break the woman's bones! However, though the woman looked sympathetic toward the beast, her savage assault did not abate. She shot inwards towards the wounded crab her first strike was not a problem to deflect with its body, sliding it off of the side of its hardened shell, the second strike was a little harder, and the third a little harder still, but it managed to fend off the crazed woman and her flurry of strikes before the fourth came sliding in past the Reaper Crab's guard and smashed across the side of its head. The Reaper felt no pain, but its vision went dark and its body collapsed to the grass below. Its body began to slowly break apart and then in a blast of light it seemed to vaporize, strings of letters and numbers swirling around the body of the enemy. The essence of the A.I. Core laid bare. It was the code that the Code Core was designed to harness, and it suddenly whirled in toward Corrinne, headed for her staff, and as it was being absorbed into the Code Core, the item would change, and the woman, as it completed its absorption, Corrinne would wake up in the lab, where she had been put to sleep--the new found power flowing through her body, and an official member of the B.A.I.T.R Organization.Quote: Reaper CrabB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 0/160 Skill: 5 Strength: 12 Defence: 10 Tactical Advantage: Sadist: You revel in the pain of others, A.I. or human alike. OOC: Alright~! So your combat is over, and you are the victor! ^__^ You can have Corrinne absorbing the essence into her Code Core (the staff) and then have the appearance of the silver bo staff change in any way that you like, as Code Cores change slightly when they absorb an A.I. dependant on what A.I. is inside of them. After this, you are free to RP wherever you like, and do whatever you want. Though if you want to be a part of the upcoming Guild Event, you will need to head over to the B.A.I.T.R Headquarters. ^__^
Also, your lines are no longer doubled, as combat is over as of this turn! =] After your next post, you will need to do an update. You can check mine out for a reference. =]

Turn 8Marthun's Attack x2: 10 - 5 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) (-15% From Stamina = 80% Defence Chance)FAILED! 50 - 15 = 35 Damage The Harbinger was still impressed--no matter how many times it saw the man expertly evade its strikes with the agility that he could muster--and it would have smiled if its face would allow for it. The demonic visage remained forever twisted into a snarl as it looked at the man. When his hands clapped down on the blade of the sword arm, the demonic core looked at Marthun with shock emanating off of its body. Its head shook from side to side with the sheer impossibility of what the man had just down. Caught the sword! He ******** CAUGHT it. The Harbinger had heard stories of men with the martial ability to catch blades--masters of hand to hand combat--but to think that this man would be one of them! Suddenly, however, the man was rocking into his assault without the Harbinger being able to shake the awe off from the man's insane defensive movement, and the elbow strike landed true on the hip joint of the Harbinger and it felt the metal almost give way to it as it cracked the joint and the Harbinger roared out in pain. This man was becoming an issue to be sure. The new baiters were weak, compared to the strength that the Harbinger would have had when it was first captured by the baiter organization, but in the weakened state, they were an even match. The two of them were landing blow for blow, and they would continue to do so until one of them fell. The B.A.I.T.R Organization knew what they were doing with these ones, to be sure. They needed to teach them fear--to teach them struggle and ensure that they were able to handle that pressure without dying. If they died against a weakened opponent, they did not want them working for them--they would only cause more casualties rather than prevent them. As the second strike came in, the clawed hand came rocketing upward and slammed into the man's chest, knocking him backwards from the Harbinger. Not enough to wound him, but enough to push him back and halt the punch that he was winding up for. The Harbinger felt the hip joint creak when it moved and it growled under its breath. This man would need to die soon, or the Harbinger knew it would perish first. However, it could not deny that the battle had been enjoyable. Blood on both sides. The demonic core charged forward once more--this time the crossbow it had been using laid dormant as it charged in, lowering its shoulder toward the man and attempting to shoulder charge him, using the spikes on the armour to attempt to stab him with them. As soon as the charge had ended, however the Harbinger hopped backwards ever so slightly, growling with the pain in its hip once again, and then it charged forward, ignoring the burning sensation and swinging the sword diagonally toward the man, shoulder to hip.Quote: HarbingerB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 70/140 Skill: 10 Strength: 13 Defense: 5 Tactical Advantage: Sadist: You revel in the pain of others, A.I. or human alike. Drowsy [Mood] Code Core Development Facility [Location] What's next? [Thoughts] AI Core & Doctor [With]
__________________________________ The final crack with the staff across the reaper crab's face made the creature look dazed at first but then it fully collapsed. The ground shook from its weight. Then suddenly it began to break apart and disperse in what looked like streams of number data and code, it whirled around her and finally settled in her weapon, the Bo staff. Quickly, it began to change the shape of the staff, taking the personality of the crab; it grew jagged near the edges like the claws of the crab, with spikes sticking out from the ends. It also took on the nice yellow green that Corrinne had admired of the reaper crab from the beginning. Touching her face, she realized some of the blood from the battle had fallen on her face. Looking down at her fingers, she rubbed the crimson liquid between her thumb and pointer fingers. Then it began to grow dark. Taking one final look at the lush landscape, Corrinne began to close her eyes in the world of her mind before opening them again in the real world.
Her eyes fluttered awake and the doctor from earlier looked down at her with a confident grin. "See, I told you, you would be fine." His tone was warm and understanding. Bracing herself up on her elbow the doctor moved toward her just in case she needed help getting up. "I'm happy you knew because I felt like it was touch and go in there." Corrinne spoke hoarsely as she looked down at her hand where she wiped the blood away in her mind naturally it was gone now. She rubbed the fingers together again as she leaned up to a sitting position on the bed. "That is to be expected." The doctor continued holding her shoulder protectively, "Would you like me to call your uncle to tell him the procedure was a success?" She nodded and looked down at the staff beside her, its actual image had changed, like in the dream. Lifting it up, it suddenly felt much heavier than she remembered. Smoothing her hand over its surface she gripped it and quietly whisper, "thank you," to her weapon. More likely thanking the memory of her mother rather than the actual Core.
Looking around she noticed the others 'sleeping', when the doctor returned to her she asked him, "Will they be alright?" He looked at the others and nodded, "Let's hope so. That's the idea after all," He offered her his arm to help her down off of the medical bed. Once touching down on the ground Corrinne wobbled and held onto the doctor. Grabbing her by the waist, he steadied her, "careful." She looked down at her body and it looked fine but she realized that she had grown tired from the battle in her mind. Returning her eyes to the doctors, she smiled weakly, "I guess the stress took more out of me than I realized." He beamed back at her. She regained her footing but kept one hand on the doctors offered arm. “So, what’s next?” Corrinne asked inquisitively and the doctor looked at her with a start as he led her to the next room. “Well, you could head to headquarters, as you have successfully completed the HALF procedure, they would help you with training and honing your skills.” He talked and walked with her, she gripped the staff in her opposite hand protectively. “I would like that,” She answered, holding the weapon up to analyze it. “I would like to learn.”

▌Marthun If we could all just learn to speak to just one other person, ▌Gartun I'm sure we would find that the world would become much smaller.
Turn 08 84% chance to dodge 1 x failed = 13 damage
Marthun could see that the injury to its hip was causing the Harbinger physical distress. Even so the machine had acknowledged that they were a good pair yet still thought to do nothing but attack and destroy, it really made him think. Were these things even truly AI? If so they would have to have some semblance of intelligence, a knowledge of fight or flight, good and bad, logic and morality. This thing seemed rigid in thought, like it was programmed to destroy and do nothing else.
"It is a shame that this process destroys your personality traits whilst you are trapped within the code core. It would have been quite the fun endeavor to actually get to understand you deeper. Id on't imagine you really care for formalities such as getting to know a partner, just as long as it comes with spilled blood you are all for the ride along. All you want is me dead right? Well come at me then, allow me to see the ferocity and fervor of the machine designed to kill humanity. A rigid being, that is what you are, incapable of adaptation as humanity had done to destroy the bulk of your invasion, now you are trapped. A slave. Weakened and alone, but not anymore. I come here with the sole goal of partnering with you, on the cliche condition that in order to team up with the murderous machine....I have to kill it. Though you won't die....will you?" he said in a starkly uncharacteristic monologue actually attempting to have some form of dialogue with the machine in their final moments of battle. The machine charged at him with its shoulder braced in order to cause damage. It seemed that the effort of swinging the sword would hurt the machine.
Marthun grabbed a spike and slammed the shoulder down causing the machine to stumble passed him and then the Harbinger righted it self and prepared its next attacked. "The weirdest thing is, and you probably haven't even thought about this, is that even if I am defeated and you take over my body....the baiters outside are already prepared to completely destroy you...if I win in here, your very essence gets to live, in partnership, with me. Together we will show the world who has the true strength, who has the power to fight and who is too weak and should fall. Enjoy this fight, Harbinger, for it will not be the last, but, it will most certainly be the most memorable." he said as the Harbinger charged and slashed across with his blade.
The blade grazed across his chest and he caught the actual blade with his other hand at the tail end of the swing, his hand bleeding as it held the rusty metal. "If fear is the mind killer, then do not fear me...for your mind is the one I am most interested in keeping alive!" he yelled as he threw the sword back and jumped up launching a powerful set of two kicks straight at the Harbinger's face.

Turn 5 15-12 = 3 (100-3 = 97- 15 (stam) 82%) x3 The Elder Wolf was growing tired of these games. Even as it charged in and attempted to skewer the strange girl with its horns, she utilized those strange bladed arms to block the incoming attack. The classroom that they fought inside of was trashed, and the more time passed the more destroyed the room became. However, as soon as the woman had blocked its attack, she started in on attacking the Elder Wolf once again. She slammed forward and attempted a horizontal cut across its legs, but the beast hopped up, jumping into the air and allowing the blade to pass beneath it. When the Elder Wolf landed, it snarled as it saw the desk fragment coming in towards it. It turned its body and used the muscular sides of its body to deflect the piece of desk, but as it bounced the desk piece off of its body, the woman was already coming in for a second attack. As she slashed upwards with the bladed arm, the Elder Wolf threw its head downward into the attack, tangling the blade with its horns to keep it from doing any damage. As they disengaged from each other the woman ran out of the classroom, and the Elder Wolf followed her out into the corridor. As they found each other in the hallway, the Elder Wolf licked its lips, baring its teeth at the mechanical woman. It snapped its jaws yet again and let out a blood curdling howl. It was the end of the games with this opponent. The Wolf's eyes slowly became red, and the muscles on its body seemed to bulge ever so slightly and with a burst of incredible speed the Elder Wolf entered a state of pure bloodlust as it shot toward Quantis. It lowered its head once again, attempting to skewer the girl with its horns, but this time it was moving much faster and the maneuver was infinitely more powerful. It was going to end this little girl. Turn 9Marthun's Attack x2: 10 - 5 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) (-15% From Stamina = 80% Defence Chance)FAILED! 50 - 15 = 35 Damage The Harbinger puzzled over the man's thought process, and it almost laughed at what he was saying. The man was ignorant to what it meant to master an A.I. Core. Destroy its personality? Not likely. All that being bound to the Code Core would do to the A.I. was bind it to the baiter's will. It did not delete its personality. It merely harnessed its power and caused it to obey without question. It could not disobey the master of its code. The essence of the A.I. was still in tact, it was the A.I.'s free will that was mostly taken away. "You can not kill me, human. We depend...on each other...to live. Without me, you die. Without you...I die. This is known to me. But, it is a disgrace to give up your free will to an enemy without a fight. I would rather die than be controlled by a man who does not deserve to control. But do not think you will take who I am away...my personality...my being...will live on inside your body, fool." The Harbinger growled. Marthun had already grabbed him by the shoulder and forced him past without being harmed, but when the Harbinger had swung for his second attack, the blade bit into the man's chest and the hand that caught it was cut by the blade. The Harbinger was pleased, seeing that it was continuously landing blows against the enemy. It was truly a battle to remember. Both sides had landed shots on the other--both combatants were battered. This was what made existing in this world exciting still. The core let out hollow, echoing laughter as the man spoke once more and it shook its head. "Fear you, human, I do not." It stated plainly. But as Marthun's leg swung up suddenly to strike the Harbinger in the face it quickly pulled back from the man, though the movement only put more stress on its hip joint, and though it had moved back far enough to avoid the first strike, the wave of pain shot through the body and the A.I. was unable to effectively move out of the way of the second attack and the foot connected with the side of the Harbinger's face, denting the metal inwards and snapping its head to the side with incredible force. It seemed dazed for a moment, stumbling on its feet, before it steadied itself. It knew that it couldn't take another strike from the man without going down--so it had to crush his enemy before he could be defeated. The Harbinger dashed backwards from Marthun, putting distance between them before releasing another crossbow bolt at him from afar, attempting to land it in the man's knee. Somewhere in old information databases, the Harbinger had heard that an arrow to the knee was quite detrimental. Then, as soon as the bolt had been shot, it charged forward once again and pulled back its clawed hand, balling it into a fist and rocketing a vicious punch toward the man's face.Quote: HarbingerB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 35/140 Skill: 10 Strength: 13 Defense: 5 Tactical Advantage: Sadist: You revel in the pain of others, A.I. or human alike. ▌Marthun If we could all just learn to speak to just one other person, ▌Gartun I'm sure we would find that the world would become much smaller.
Turn 09 84% defense chance 1 failed = 13 damage
Marthun listed to the strained speech of the machine as it conveyed its own thought process to him. Saying that what Marthun had honestly assumed was merely untrue in every way. This made Marthun's stark face smile and his eyes softened. The creature he was facing was truly and utterly desperate to have Marthun prove his worthiness to be the Harbinger's master. Marthun laughed to himself as the Harbinger fired off an arrow aimed for the legs and Marthun flipped forward and, using rotational momentum, caught the bolt mid air in time to smile as he met an incoming fist with his forehead, with nary a wince, the smile remained and a trickle of blood dripped down between his eyes from where the fist now resided.
"It pleases me that we will get to know each other, though I'm sure in the future we will end up having to part ways at some juncture, I will be sure to hold onto your as long as physically possible. Perhaps one day we can come here together...back to this place." he said with a smile as he rotated the bolt in his hand and using it as a makeshift dagger he thrust it forward toward the chest of the harbinger and then rocketed a kick straight up into the hip joint once again, this time from the bottom. This attack was sheer brutality packed into a happy go lucky expression that didn't telegraph the attack one bit. It would he hard to dodge, especially this late in the fight and for the Harbinger it was all starting to come down to luck. Both sides were wearing down quite fast, but it seemed that Marthun had the heavier strikes.
Should Marthun live to become a legend among the baiter community or die without a word to anyone in the wastes of some cesspool left on the planet it would make no difference, but if he became a legend. Then at least the Harbinger would have a name that meant something positive and no longer would it merely be viewed as an evil entity used for destruction by a misunderstood enemy.

Raindrops are my tears, wind is my breath and my story, branches and leaves are my hands, because my body is wrapped in roots. When comes the season of a thaw,
It's howl resounded loudly and bounced off the walls of the empty hallways of the school clearly. It made her feel cold sweat running down her back. She felt her blood turn cold for a moment she heard its cry. Elder Wolf can enter a state of rage empowered by bloodthirst. While it made their attacks stronger, it made their defense weaker; becoming a berseker that didn't cared for anything except turning their enemies into a bloody mush.
That made Quantis smile savagely. Electricity ran through her nerves as she gazed fiercely at the A.I.'s blood thirsty eyes. She waited for the beast to find her for a reason: to end it all. As the Elder Wolf readied to charge towards her, to skewer her body with its unbreakable horns, Quantis had took her stance. With her left hand forward, her right hand pulled away, Quantis faced the incoming attack with her body facing sideways against the Elder Wolf.
She took the attack head-on, her blades clashed with its horns again. Yet this time, they didn't tangled with each other. Quantis was blown away by the force but also because she had jumped away in the same time. What she didn't expect was it was enough that she broke through a wall. "Ugh..." the femme groaned as she got out of the rubles.
She was bleeding on her left arm, punctured by one of the horns. It was a miscalculation on her part but scolding herself wasn't going to change anything at all. Except from the hole on her left arm, there was no remarkable damage or any blunt damage when she slammed into the wall; her suit protecting her from at least that. Quantis quickly jumped to her feet and moved, disregarding the pain on her left arm. The Elder Wolf was still on the same position it had been, moving slowly as if prowling the wild, observing if its prey was dead or not.
The dream was still alive, the mental landscape hadn't collapsed, Quantis was still alive and ready to fight back. The femme had silently come into one of the rooms and sliced the the wall open. She jumped through the hole she opened along with the debris of she made, towards the Elder Wolf. Her attacks came savagely and fast. A palm strike on the side of the beast. Quantis slashed horizontally on the legs and moved to strike the throat. The blade on her left forearm was missing as it was attached to the back of leg instead. She cannot use her arm anymore with it just a useless limb but her leg had more striking power, especially with its powersuit exoskeleton. Her left leg lashed, drawing a crescent arc in the air and to decapitate the head of the beast.

Turn 10Marthun's Attack x2: 10 - 5 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) (-30% From Stamina = 65% Defence Chance) The Harbinger watched as the arrow was easily avoided, and the man was able to actually snatch it out of the air once again, flipping around and snagging it while he was performing his acrobatic feats. The demonic core was still impressed by the man's mobility, but it was an issue in the long run. The Harbinger felt its body slowing down greatly. But it wasn't ready to give in quite yet. It was not ready to lay down and die. It was going to give everything in had for the entire battle, no matter what. As the demon attempted to slam the man, he met the blow with his head, and seemed to shrug it off like some sort of monster. It entertained him greatly, even though the A.I. knew that it shouldn't find joy in its enemy's ability to outfight him. The Harbinger merely took it with a grain of salt as the man suddenly lurched back into attack mode, slamming the arrow it had shot at him back towards its own chest. As he did this, however, the Harbinger slammed its body towards the man, knocking him off balance and using this opportunity to negate the man's first strike. Then it was a savage kick that the Harbinger had to deal with, but Marthun was going for the same strike that he had gone for before, andthe Harbinger was already all too aware of its weak point. As the kick came towards the Harbinger's hip joint, it hopped backwards, narrowly evading the strike, feeling the wind pressure from the strong attack brush against its body. But as soon as the kick had past by, the Harbinger jumped into action. It quickly slid in towards the man and brought the sword arm down in an overhead swing, hoping to cleave something important off of the man. An arm or a head would be just lovely. Then, as soon as the sword had completed its path, the Harbinger, as much as it hurt the hip joint to do it, spun its body in a 360 degree turn in order to send the vertically attacking blade into a sudden horizontal slash to try to catch the man off guard.Quote: HarbingerB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 35/140 Skill: 10 Strength: 13 Defense: 5 Tactical Advantage: Sadist: You revel in the pain of others, A.I. or human alike. Turn 6 15-2 = 13 (100-13 = 87- 15 (stam) 72%) x3 FAILED! 75 - 6 = 69 Damage The Elder Wolf could smell it--the girls fear. She could not conceal her basic, primal emotions from a creature like the Elder Wolf--not a chance. It seemed to lick its lips in absolute enjoyment--as if it were tasting the fear that the woman was giving off. However, as it licked its lips, it was blasting forward toward her, sprinting in at her and trying to stab her with the horns atop its head. However, as it managed to slam into her, the woman seemed to avoid most of the damage. But the smell of blood was thick, as well. She had been wounded. The woman rocketed backwards through a wall, and the Elder Wolf howled out once again in pleasure as it tasted the blood that dripped from its horn, holding its tongue out to catch the drops. As the woman recovered from the attack, she blasted through the wall of one of the many rooms, headed directly for the Elder Wolf once again. As her fist came in for the first attack, a palm strike at the side of the wolf, it hopped to the side, jumping like a gazelle to avoid the attack. The kick aimed for its legs was also avoided from the same maneuver, the blade passing beneath it before it had landed. But the last attack was different. In its bloodthirsty state it was not paying enough attention as the leg lashed out, coming down toward its head with a mighty swing. The woman was trying to decapitate it for sure, but the Elder Wolf would take more than that to kill. The blade came down hard, and it cut deep, but the way the Wolf instinctively moved its head saved it from any fatal wounds. There was a lot of blood, but the main arteries were safe, and the spine had been uncut, though it was close. The Wolf quickly recovered from the strike, shaking its head and getting ready as it felt the blood pouring down its chest. It blasted forward once again, leaping toward Quantis headfirst, but at the last moment, it changed its path and landed behind her, spinning around and aiming to savagely tackle her back, sending its horns through her back instead of attacking her from the front.Quote: Elder WolfB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 71/140 Skill: 7 Strength: 9 [19]Defence: 12 [2]Tactical Advantage: Bloodrage: Once per combat, you can work yourself into a murderous fury, striking harder and faster, with disregard to your personal well-being. Raindrops are my tears, wind is my breath and my story, branches and leaves are my hands, because my body is wrapped in roots. When comes the season of a thaw,
Blood sprayed onto her face and suit as she severed the flesh of the monster but not dealing a fatal strike. She didn't felt cutting any bones and the blood she drew wasn't enough for her to actually cut the main artery. The Elder Wolf had evaded in a nick of time from getting it killed while lost in its blood thirst. With both woman and beast wounded, it was only a matter of time to tell who fall first due to fatigue and blood loss.
Quantis who had only a single arm she can use as the her left one was dangling on her side as a useless baggage. She had attached the blade mounted on her left arm to her left leg as it was useless when the limb cannot move anymore. The femme had taken her stance, not letting the glimpse feeling of landing a hit lower her guard as the Elder Wolf charged. She didn't not expect for it to use a feint, leaping towards her only to shift where it would land with her back facing its sharp horns.
The dread from being stabbed attacked her senses; it gave an invisible sense of being pierced on her back. She used that to detect the incoming attack, ducking down, hugging the ground as the attack came. She winched as pain shoot through her nerves, the sudden movement made blood come out of her punctured arm. However, the pain she felt, Quantis ignored it as she moved to attack the beast.
A sweep of her bladed-leg to the legs followed it up with another attempt to decapitate the beast as she vaulted, landing on her feet and in front of the beast. The gradient-haired femme ran and leaped towards the wall on her right, jumping again and crossing over to touching the wall that was on her left. The belle directed her body, leaping yet again without much delay like all the others towards the beast, her bladed right arm aiming to cut it down in half and hard.
