Kaiser-chan Alexis Of Shadow Duo_Deathscythe Alexis Of Shadow Alright I put on my mask in honor of Erik...maaaybe my faith in him will help PotO win somefink. ninja I have a rose with me, and I left the rest of the dried rose bouqet in front of my mirror with a red ribbon around it like I always do. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to get a mask >.< Actually I meant on Gaia. There's like no chance I could get a mask without my mom finding out. Seems like a large section of this guild has a mask of some sort on their avatar. xD Ick, though, nothing I liked won this time around on the oscars. I loved the part where they were talking to regular people at a theatre, and none of them had seen any of the "best movie" nominees. xD Though, they made them all out to be classless buffoons, though, too, to some extent. Pah. Screw the academy, they really have no taste. they really don't have any taste!

i have to say this the only good thing i have heard tonight or seen in the oscars was Jamie Fox's speach. i am really happy he won! sad johnny depp did not but Jamie Fox was wonderful.

Well first of all I am religious and liked Passsion of the Christ. So whoever said that Passion of the Christ comment that was out of line. However, I knew that would be snubbed for the simple fact that it is religious. I was angry that that stupid motorcycle diaries won over Learn to be Lonely!! That song was annoying as heck and stupid! YOu cannot compare that with Andrew Lloyd Webber and it's so sad on top of it! PTO got snubbed, because the Academy is very stupid. As were the critics. PTO deserved best costumes as well as best art direction! They reconstruction of the Opera Populaire was divine and the make-up was wonderful! My mom (also a big PTO fan) were outraged that it did not win make-up or art. PTO is a beautiful dramatic film. Academy is just dumb and doesn't realize the beauty of it. I see it this way the Phantom fans know it's glory! It did get Tonys, so that is comforting. Just realize this, every year the Academy will pick only one movie as their favorite and it sweeps everything! But yes I can't believe PTO didn't win for best song!! *Stabs that stupid annoying motorcycle diaries and spits on it's grave* Erik I hand you the white mask and say "I the Phantom of the Opera!!"

I'm so unbelievably pissed about the Oscars. I can't believe they weren't nominated for Costumes either. "Troy" and "POTO" should have been the highest contenders - it's a helluva lot easier to make early 1900s American styles than ancient Greek and all those that POTO used! HELLO!
*slaps the Acamedy upside the head*
And what happened to Art Direction?? Cinetog I can forgive but... all those choreographed scenes!

She ruined the song crying Don't hit me!! sweatdrop I actually like Beyonce... and I thought she did a great job last night. I like Minnie's version ok, but after finding out what a diva she truly is (all heresy but from people I trust) I'm glad they gave it to Beyonce. Of course, who knows just how much of a diva Beyonce is.... wink She just gave more passion to the song.... Actually, now that I think of it... Emmy should have sung the freaking song! lol... Btw, I wonder if it was just some model they got to be Phantom on stage... (I literally ran up to the TV to see if it was Gerard...) xd

I have a bunch of friends who are also Christian, and a lot of my family too. The reason I made that comment was because I think that movie was way overhyped and I generally hate any movie that gets that much publicity, mainly because I don't think any movie can be that good. I hated Gladiator for the same reason, even though it wasn't at all a bad movie and in the same spirit Master and Commander (which I never saw but a friend of mine said that it was good, and I believe her since we like the same movies.) I just think that the movies that the academy picks are picked because they are overhyped and that bugs me.
