 Alister Yggdrasill "Because her parents taught her how to be a proper succubus. Shino's didn't. And, there are incubi and succubi here who can teach him to control his pheromones, and how to bed someone without killing them....To a limit, of course." Had he told Shino of his power and told him what it does? Of course not. The topic hadn't come up, other than him having mentioned Tipha once. Alister looked at Shino and shook his head. "Don't worry about it. It's a last resort, and there are several methods standing in front of it." He hated when people worried about him using his power. It wasn't pride, but rather the sense of helplessness he always felt. When someone worried about him, it made him feel weak and inadequate. And, Alister detested that feeling, being one of the youngest in the village and the frailest in his family. "I'm going back to work. Ashton, please leave. Shino....You're welcome to stay and wait with me. I'll be done soon." Alister stood and returned to the field, hacking away at the wheat with the sickle. He'd barely touched his lunch, and looked almost lifeless as he tried to recover from the weakness he felt.

Shino Nagamasa  Shino put a hand on Alister's arm looking concerned as the man spoke of the succubus. He didn't know what to say to the man, but it seemed like he was getting worked up about something and he wanted to help calm the man down. Looking to Ashton, he noticed the other man had started to leave when Alister told him to do so. "Alister, please eat something?" He asked more because he didn't like the look of determination on the man's face. "I know we can figure out how to deal with the issue I have. Shino knew enough to wait for Alister to finish his work and thought about ways he could try to control his ability. Maybe if he tried to use just a little bit he could gain some control? He didn't want to do it around anyone though to be on the safe side.

Alister Yggdrasill Alister finished harvesting the wheat after about half an hour. He went to the showered to clean up before returning to Shino. "Alright. Let's go home." He felt better, at least. "I'm sorry about that conversation. I know it probably made you uncomfortable."

the gothic beauty 2 Shino Nagamasa Shino waited for Alister to finish and smiled when the man walked up to him again. "Home, that sounds nice." He had never really called anywhere home before, but to call the place he was staying with Alister home, it felt right somehow. As the god slayer brought up the conversation Shino shook his head. "Its alright, I can understand the other's concern. I did some thinking, and I feel I need to practice how to use my ability if I want to control it. Is there anywhere near the village that no one really visits? Its probably best for me to practice when no one is around."

Alister Yggdrasill Alister sighed. Damn that brat Ashton. Okay, well....Brat was wrong. He looked younger, but he was older than Alister. Still! "No. You won't isolate yourself. You'll learn just like any other incubus and succubus. By being taught. I'll talk to one of the older succubus to help you." Heading home with Shino, Alister kept his mind off the conversation by thinking of dinner ideas. "What chores did you get done? Was the list to much?"

Shino Nagamasa So Alister was going to see if a succubus would teach him control? He blushed at the thought embarrassed that he was well, a submissive incubus. "I hope they don't mind helping me, if someone agrees to do it of course." He said not voicing the real concern he had. "I got a lot of them done. All the major cleaning that was listed. I have plenty to do for tomorrow." He thought about the length of the list and shook his head. "No, it was a good length, Ive not had time to do much thinking, and that was what I was going for."

Alister Yggdrasill Alister sighed. Shino wasn't exactly settling in. Maybe he should ban him from chores entirely if all he wanted to do was use them as a thinking deterant. "Seriously? Your future scares you that much? What do you need to hear to relax and settle down? It'll be a long while before you're ready to be sent away, and I already said that's if you want to leave. You can choose to stay here in the village, you know. The Council isn't a group of dictators." There was literally nothing worse than a kid who worried about stuff that wasn't going to become a problem for awhile. "When we get home, you should change. Do you have any hobbies? Reading? Games?...Bird watching?"

Shino Nagamasa Shino looked at Alister for a moment. He didn't understand why the man seemed upset with him. After all, wasn't it normal to be scared when you didn't know what to do with your life? He had always known his parents would pair him with someone to put themselves in a better position. Now, while his parents had done so, the god was gone and they were back to their original place. He hadn't returned home, so he was sure they would be looking for him eventually. "Maybe its easy for you to not worry about whats going to happen, but Ive never been in a situation like this, away from my home, having no idea what is going to happen. Even if I am able to stay here, I don't have any real value to your village. I don't know what Im even supposed to do. Your the only one that I feel comfortable around." Shino didn't look at Alister for a moment but at the ground as they walked. "I don't know. I guess I like to read, but I didn't really play many games. Most of the games I did play I didn't like because demons seem to add a twist to them." Yea, he certainly didn't like the games that some of the demons played. While he didn't really interact with anyone but his parents, he had heard plenty of the games his mother and father played with other demons.

Alister Yggdrasill Alister shook his head. Worrying so much was only going to eat away at Shino. He had to relax some. "Everyone worries about what's going to happen to them. In fact, I think god slayers are the ones who worry more than others. But, the trick is to not let it control you. Worrying is fine. It's natural. But, too much worry can kill you. Shino....You're still a kid. You should be out having fun, making friends....Not worrying to the point of isolation." He was right, though. Right now, Shino didn't have a place in the village. But, he would find it. He just had to try. "...I'm going to invite some of the others around your age over sometime, and you're going to get to know them. Don't worry about your pheromones. I'll use Tipha's power to make a barrier to suppress them. That way you can be a regular guy." So, even his hobbies had been oppressed by his parents. Alister was certainly not letting them anywhere near him, though they wouldn't be able to get here anyway. To them, Shino was as good as gone. "My sister is the librarian. I'll take you to check some books out then. We have a...very large selection. As for games....I'm sure there are some here in the village you can try."

Shino Nagamasa So, he was worrying too much? This was the first time he really had anything major to worry about. His pheromones had never been an issue while he was home since his parents were immune to their child's ability. To hear that Alister and the other slayers worried more made the teen look at the other for a moment. "So, less worrying. Okay, um... How do I do that?" He asked rather seriously. He had no idea how to not worry so much. As Alister brought up the friend bit he looked down. "I don't know how to make friends. I never needed to learn how to do so before. I wish I didn't have this problem, that I could have been a normal incubus." Of course had he been a regular incubus he would never have met Alister. "You have lots of books?" His eyes instantly lit up with excitement. He had read everything at home at least twice and knew many of the books by heart. Granted most of the books were more adult material, he hadn't been bothered by it. He was the child of two demons that gained their power from pleasures.

Alister Yggdrasill "Focus on things that make you happy, and smile. Don't give too much thought to your worries." Alister patted Shino's head softly as they approached the house. "You'll learn how to make friends. We're all pretty easygoing. Just talk. Find out what you have in common. Play games, joke around....It's easier than it seems."

Shino Nagamasa Focus on things that made him happy. Well, spending time with Alister made him happy, did that count? "Spending time with you makes me happy. I know I cant spend all the time with you though since you have things you need to do and you probably have friends that you want to spend time with too." Hearing that everyone was pretty easygoing was nice. He didn't want to make any enemies in the village if he could help it. "Joke around? I understand the concept, but whats the point of making jokes anyways?"

But, I will spend every other moment with you. I happen to like being around you, too." The point of making jokes? Alister chuckled. "To have fun and laugh. You...have a lot to learn."

Shino Nagamasa Hearing that made the young incubus happy. He liked knowing Alister enjoyed spending time with him. While he had only known the man a day, he could already tell that the god slayer was someone that was good and special. Maybe it was because he was the first person Shino met that had actually been decent to him. Yes, at first the boy was afraid of the other, but Alister had shown he was someone to be trusted. "I don't think Ive ever really laughed. Is that why that man said you liked cute boys earlier? He was joking with you?" He asked rather curious about why the other had said that before. "I know I have a lot to learn, but Im a fast learner, and Ill try really hard to learn all I can."

Alister Yggdrasill Alister blinked. "Well, he was joking around, but he wasn't lying. I adore cute guys like you~. Adorable, innocent, a bit oblivious...." He was happy to hear Shino would try his best to learn and make friends. Walking into the house, Alister stretched. "Alright. I need a shower."
