“Uhuh… well I guess it’s probably a good thing. I’m hardly at home and I can’t expect Morin to watch his two and then mine while I’m gone. He does have a life… I think. Well I guess it’s more one of us is always dragging him out to socialize. I don’t know if that really counts.” It was true. The litch could be considered his best friend next to Adora, but he got absorbed in studying or writing way too often. On one of the breaks they hadn’t seen him practically leave his room for days. “Well I think its more she felt bad and awkward, then again you never know. You been forced to sign any autographs recently?” He did raise an eyebrow at the whole swiping thing, but considering his recent track record of snitching things definitely couldn’t say anything.
Jezebeth nodded her head, they had both done well in the previous game! And she was pleased by the new plushie she had to take back to her room. She nodded once again as Cassie choose a game for them to wait in line for. A little laugh escaped her as talked about patience.
She beamed up at the other Fallen when she asked her about school. "My classes have been fun so far!" She hadn't really made any friends yet, but she tried to not let that bother her. She had her studies to focus on anyway! As they approached the front of the line Jezebeth was confronted with a dart throwing game. She was given three, fairly dull and plastic, darts to throw at a wall of balloons. The first two she threw bounced off of the balloons. But the third one managed to cause one of them to pop, and a colored piece of paper fell out from the balloon. She was given a bag of candy for her prize. Too bad she had just learned these were bad for her...!

Dax wandered through the area an eye out for trouble and making sure the students were for the most part behaving. He kept his wings closely furled against his body, worried he'd accidentally knock someone over if he relaxed at all.
He wandered over towards the game area and absently picked up one of the balls and tossed it towards the baskets.
===
Dax was more than surprised when he actually managed to win something. Usually he was never any good at games and it was always a shock when he won them.
He selected one of the Star Necklaces and put it in his pocket. He knew just who he'd be giving that too.
He noticed an Imp student standing near by and looking a little lost. He racked his brain for her name and then once he was fairly sure he knew it, walked over.
"Hello, Miss Vi. Having a good time?" he asked with a smile.
Keira sighed as she tried a few other games, failing at pretty much all of them. She gripped the necklace with a sigh before rubbing her neck. She wasn't really up for dancing or losing at more games. So with her one winnings, she left.
Perhaps she would come back later but that was fairly unlikely.. not impossible! Just unlikely. Keira played with the little bottle trinket in her hands, wishing she had someone to share it with. Why was making friends so hard? She wasn't really bullied, teased sometimes but not bullied. Letting out another sigh, she looked back to the party in consideration... maybe she should go back and try again.
There they were hand in hand, Favrielle and Jaret. Her heart was still pounding all giddly as they made their way into the eating hall. She knew that in the crowd of people next to no one would notice them here, but she still felt nervous for some reason. She had her stormy locks pulled back into bun, to show off the beautiful dress that Jaret has made her. It was black with a rosy floral print and a beautiful ribbon in the back that laced her in. "Well we are here. What are we going to do first?" Switching up her makeup today, her rosy lips pulled into a smile looking up to him.
Vi stood holding her tail and her new fish buddy, looking quite awkward and out of place, and looking down the line of games still left to play. Her ears drooped a bit as she slowly walked along to pick one out. She paused after a moment to observe a dart booth and gingerly set her tail and new fish buddy down to play.
After tossing a handful of darts, Vi was surprised to find a kitten in her arms. Oh no...Finn was going to think she was becoming a hoarder...not that she wasn't already. She jumped slightly upon hearing her name and quickly scooped up her fish and tail, creating an even harder to hold mess with a squirming kitten added on top.
"Oh...hello. ....how are you today?" She asked, tilting her head slightly at Dax.

Dax eyed the girl who was trying to juggle a skyfish, a cat, and for some reason her tail. "Ah...perhaps you'd like some help?" he offered willing to take either the fish or the cat, he definitely didn't want her tail, oh please gods don't make her give him her tail. Although from the awkward why she was clinging to it, he didn't think it was likely she'd give him that.
"It may be easier to manage your pets if you released your tail?" he offered in what he hoped was a helpful tone. "You're quite likely to get scratched to pieces if you don't. However I assure you, Nurse Yuki is quite pleasant. I have to visit her quite often myself." he rubbed the back of his head with a clawed hand.
Of course when he moved it away some of his hair got stuck in his scales and he had to take a few extra moments to extract it, only to come out with strands still stuck in them, which he then had to awkwardly pick out with very soft clicks.

Vi looked down at the mess in her arms and just shook her head adamantly. "No. I can handle this...I have it." She stated, feeling quite sure of herself...despite the kitten slipping lower and lower until it dropped to the floor to sit at her feet. "See, handled." She nodded and managed a small smile at him.
"Sorry...I just don't typically get out...around crowds. Not lately especially..." She muttered, looking back around at everyone, the hall seemingly filled to capacity.
Memphis wandered around to look at more games while Yuki decided on what prize she wanted. Mem was looking at all the familiars that were available and decided to try to win one for Yuki. He remembered that she didn't have a pet yet and this could be a better prize that she might actually like. Memphis decided to start up a game of baseball toss to try for a familiar. Sadly the baseballs missed all the bottles and he didn't win anything for Yuki. What a shame he wanted to surprise Yuki with something special. Maybe the next game would be better. Memphis turned around and walked towards another area of the party.

With a beaming smile, Jaret entered the party with his gorgeous friend. His casual tuxedo matched that of the one she wore; black with the floral bow tie. She looked so wonderful in the dress he made specifically for her and her make up... It was perfect. He now had extreme faith in her mastery of the face painting and was now even more excited for their project BUT for now he would forget about that. Right now, it was all about her. He hadn't been entirely honest with her with the reason he invited her; it was more than just costume idea seeking.
Jaret's smile faded to that of a sweeter one as she spoke to him. He took her hand and led her other to where others were dancing, pulling her close. "Let's dance and just have fun for now." He laughed a bit as he started to dance with her. He wasn't the type to get nervous or wimp out, he was just determined. Even so, his dancing certainly wasn't above average yet not below as well... just average.
After some more looking around he spotted a table across the way that seemed interesting... wait a minute... was that a trivia table? Oh, jackpot. He carefully made his way across the room, careful not to bump into anyone, then waited his turn to play. Being that he tended to accumulate random bits of information as it were, the trivia questions were not a problem. Except for one, anyway. Ah well, another trinket to the pile. He picked up a goat plush this time, the color was nice.
After a full circuit of what the various booths had to offer, Binhdi stopped before one that had a number of small aetherjellies up as prizes. Granted, she had her cat, but well, sometimes a girl wanted more cute pets. And a jelly would be so easy to maintain.
Grinning as she casually tossed the small balls she'd been given into the lined up cups, her grin widened as the last went into the cup set in the very center.
"Congratulations," the teacher said with a smile. "Here you go!"
She accepted the small, jar-like container holding one of the jellies. Smiling, she held the jar close and gently dipped her fingers inside to carefully stroke her new pet.

Arcadia glanced around for a trash can to get rid of her apple core, she noticed a small stand with a freshling standing behind it, the table in front of them had three upside down cups, Intrigued she walked over to them, "Try and follow the ball!" She smiled at the and handed him a handful of coins (A little more than the asking price, but she wanted to give him a little extra)
Edit: she watched as he put the little red ball under one cup and moved at an incredible speed, quick enough it made her dizzy! Needless to say she didn't find the little red ball!

"Liking your classes is good," she purred. Cassie watched as Jezebeth took aim, clapping softly as she won her prize. "Those look yummy," she informed, pushing her hair back behind her ear tuft as she was handed the darts. Cassie positioned herself before the game before closing an eye, tossing each of the darts in turn. Unfortunately, they all found the spaces between the balloons on the board and she sighed.
"You win some, you lose some," she informed the Freshling before stepping aside and away from the game. Cassie looked around. "There's sure a lot to do around here," she mused with a smile. "I wonder if we can't play some of these twice."
