RASALI PANAKA and FORERA SERPEN, you break free of the narrow passages and encroaching footsteps. Continuing forward, the only way possible, you trek on. For the first time in a while, you feel as though danger is not biting at your heels, and that you are safe from pursuit.

Your TPS has died again. You get ready to give this legendary piece of s**t another shake/wave combo and get it working again, when you notice a red light coming from the back.
Thanks, mystery troll for giving you the largest piece of garbage you've received all sweep. You can't really do anything about it though, as turning back is so beyond not an option, that you don't even consider considering it. As you press deeper into the swamp, the light on the back goes black, and the machine ceases to respond at all. Hoping against hope that you're not going to start travelling in circles, you push deeper into the swamp. After a while, you don't even remember which direction you were coming from. Completely lost. Your only ray of hope is that if you keep going, you'll be bound to run into something - the edge of the swamp, a landmark, anything to get you out of this twisting labyrinth.
Alarm wasn't usually in Psykgi's repertoire, but she, academically, according to her encyclopedia of trollian emotions and their cures (by Dr. Remsem and associates, of course) she knew she was feeling something very much like it when Leeroi suddenly doubled over, gripping Glitch's horns and claiming he was going to throw up.
”Lee?” she exclaimed, undraping herself enough to retrieve the first aid kid from Glitch's side, ”What is it, are you feeling sick?” Could it have been the syringe? Without realizing she was, Psykgi was still worried about what she had given him – the multiple unknown drugs she had pumped into her best friend's system. Perhaps, if she wasn't worried, she would have recognized that it wasn't entirely a chemical ailment affecting Leeroi, but that there was an emotional component as well.
She rifled through the first aid kit looking for some sort of cure for nausea, or some sort of antidote, but she could find nothing... well, apart from another syringe, with a different kind of substance, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to push her luck with whatever was already in his system. That would be dumb.
Apparently, if a troll soldier was sick, they either muscled it out or puked.
Medication-less, she put a hand on his shoulder, and noticed that his face was a flushed blue. It wasn't particularly warm down here, so that left her more forefront worry – that she had poisoned Leeroi – at the forefront. ”If you need to throw up,” she advised, ”Don't fight it – it usually feels better when you do...” and maybe he'd get some of the less fun parts of the power up out of his system...

BOTH SIDES
You glance down at your TPS, checking your map to see what your position is. The screen is black. That's not good. You lift it up and give it a shake, clicking the on off button, and waving it in the air to try and get a better signal. This is your one potential lifeline out of this unending, swampy maze. Loosing it would mean the chances of your returning to dry ground would be very unlikely. After a few pumpbiscuit-stopping seconds, the screen flicks back to life. Hm. It seems to be working fine again. Maybe it was the waving that did it, or the shaking. With no time to give it a more detailed examination, you press forwards.
Leeroi let out a small scream. Psykgi's hand felt like a hot press on him, making him feel more nausea and now burning. He ripped his shoulder away from her, clutching it like a wound. He took, deep, shaky breaths, trying to understand what was wrong with him. His blood-pusher was beating hard. Was he dying? No, he couldn't be. How stupid would that be?
He tried to mask his confusion, for Psykgi's sake. "I'm fine. I think I'll be fine," He mumbled. Sounds started to erupt from the radio, sounds of a scuffle. Foreign voices? Rebels, perhaps?
Leeroi would have been upset that Eridia and Azrael found them first, but at this point he was pleased to have any sort of distraction. Quickly, he kicked Glitch into action, speeding towards Eridia and Azrael's location.
Aerona gave Luxara one last nod. She then pulled down her hood and took of her mask. Red, speckled features appeared in front of Luxara. She smiled, her gap-tooth prominent in the spunky redblood's features. With a wink Aerona stuffed her bandana into one pocket and slid down the trunk of the tree that the two were perched in. She had to get a running start into the clearing. Had to make it look convincing. Had to get out of the woods alive. Flutterbeasts began to fill her bile sack and she shivered and shook the nerves. Now or never, Aerona!
"HEY!!" She yelled. Aerona began racing towards the clearing. She hopped over logs, bushes and swampy puddles. Her braids bounced against her chest and she swept them behind her neck. "Hey you kids!!"
Getting closer, she saw the young girl. Covered in mud from her dainty little feet to her precious pigtails. Aerona's lip twitched as she tried not to smile, but fortunately the adrenaline had her "alarmed" setting kicked on high. "Those rebels are our kill - we been chasin' em all night," she snarled. "Which way did they go? That way?"
She was ready to split. Hopefully Luxara would either follow suit or sneak around back. She may not be able to fool both kids, but this one looked upset enough to buy anything.

When the stranger asked for the other two Eridia instinctively looked at the way they went, and back at the troll. Her fists cletched and her mouth tightened. "Your kill? YOUR KILL?! EXCUUUUSE ME, THOSE ARE OUR PRAY! GO FIND SOME OTHER REBELS! THINK THERE'S PLENTY TO GO AROUND!" She spatted. How dare the greenblood send someone else to do their job? Did he think the mission would be too much for four kids? Impossible!!
"Tch. You're a dead give-away. Thanks, Dollface," Aerona smirked. "Let's go, Moon. We got some rebels to snatch."
Aerona could have died laughing. There was no way the kids would be quick enough to follow them, or quick-witted enough to figure out her ploy before they had long disappeared. She gave a quick nod to her companion. Moon could figure it out. She just had to sidle away and get out of there. Aerona kicked up her heels and began her jog at a fair pace. Only when she was a fair distance away did she break into a run.
There was a troll in the distance. “Cut left, Moon – get out of here,” Aerona hissed. Damnit. They weren’t out of the woods (or swamp, rather) just yet. She plummeted towards the troll and with horror realized her foe. Leeroi. Once the holes in his horns came into view she veered away. Aerona sprinted as quickly as she could, hurdling trees and logs to safety. He’d seen her, she’d just known it. But she was better than him – more athletic – faster. And even if she didn’t get out, Moon was safe. Her rickety body couldn’t fail her now!
