Woah, Ace had some intriguing charms on him. "Traveling with more then one person would be best." Jason agreed, though he didn't appear too happy about finding rare things at the haunted house. "You'll be able to access more places in the world with the portals." Which was one of the few perks to being a hunter; free travel to different parts of the world. "Gacha's are alright, but I'm not much of a collection." He confessed, feeling a little like a boring person.

"Hmm, that's brilliant. Saving money and time for travel....hmm, that can be a selling point." He nodded sagely, thinking it might be one of the things pinpointed by the hunters in the recruit team. His case was easy, he needed a new place to live so when they said they could do so, he followed them. "Jason, do you remember what the hunter recruit you told you so that you agree to follow them? Like our hidden ability that attracts creatures, the chance to take revenge, protect human world from evil, and whatnot. What did they say?" It wasn't a problem if you don't collect things but it's normal for people to collect things they like. "Not necessary to be gacha charms, it can be kitchen utensils, books, CDs, keys, and anything." Oh yeah, Jason still remembered. It wasn't something one could easily forget. "Y-yeah..the hunter who recruited me said he could see shadows too, and said he could help me master my fears, fight back against all the scary things. It wasn't that hard a decision, to be honest. Either I go with him, or stay at home and end up going insane, or killed." He sighed at the horrible thought. "W-well..." It wasn't like he really collected anything, and he really had to think if he had at some point. "I guess as a kid I tried stamp collecting? I didn't get very many." "Hmm." Ace paused for a short period of silence. "It's the most common tactic to go for it, empathy, hope and a chance to fight back and ends with a threat to life." He analyzed, wondered what the hunters recruited him would say to allure him if his place wasn't burn. "That's a tough time, helpless and with no alternatives." The Sun trainee nodded to himself, he was quite pitiful at that time, homeless sucks at anytime and any place. "Jason, have you thought once that why they didn't come to you earlier?" He always had that suspicion in his mind, thus he asked frankly. " Stamp." He repeated, "I should make your life less boring." It seemed to be sad in Ace's eyes his friend's life was without any collection, it could be gossips, secrets, people love to collect things. Human lives were short, and hunter's even unknowingly short like a dagger, he'd enjoyed his life fully, filled it with joys and entertainment each day. He wasn't judging at all, Ace seldom judge someone's taste, he just wanted to make his friend's life more colorful. "Let's go drinking, Jason." "Yeah...I wasn't a very hard recruit. Easy to convince." Jason watched Ace's reactions as he came to his own conclusions, then blinked at the next question. "N-not really." He answered honesty. "I guess they came when they found out I was able to see shadows, and probably when I was old enough. I don't see why they would of come earlier." "How will you do that?" He asked, before his own question was answered. "Oh. Y-yeah, sure." Jason wasn't exactly a big drinker, but he wasn't going to turn to invitation down, much to Zanthvos's amusement.

"You're such a cinnamon roll." Ace dragged Jason into a quick hug. "You haven't thought of the possibility that we're potential candidates they discovered and supervised and they only approached us when a good chance came with our weaknesses exposed?" He paused to give time the hunter to think. "They watched us suffering and struggled through our lives until they saw a breakthrough they could make use of. Maybe I think too much, but it's still possible." After stating what he thought, he waved it off. It might be a scary concept for Jason, he noticed. His hands landed on Jason's shoulder again with his approval, and they headed towards the direction where the bar was.

Jason wasn't scared of such a concept, knowing that the hunters would probably have done so; he wouldn't put it past them to make them suffer a little, considering thats what they did now days. "Cinnamon roll?" He repeated the words, unable to help himself smiling at such a expression. "Is that another internet meme?" He chuckled. "It's n-not that I haven't thought of them doing that, it's just that I know they wouldn't have to both with me; my weakness are always exposed." He imagined it would have taken about three seconds for them to pounce. Allowing himself to be directed towards the bar, he wondered if Rep was going to be there. And wasn't sure he liked the idea. Ace shrugged, "No idea, I picked it up for a girl. She told me it's best for precious people like you." He couldn't help his grin. "That's not good for your bargaining power, you have to hide your cards." Like a cat showing its softest and fluffiest tummy, there was why he said Jason precious.
