Stranger #1 was hit square in the forehead by the girl's attack. He fell backwards without another thought, dead.

His vision finally returned, Stranger #2 escaped the battle undetected.

She shivered a bit at seeing the man drop. Her emotional state wasn't much better at having a perfect view of the man who had rescued her continuing to attack the body. She had hoped that she only would knock the man out from the pain caused by her spectral blade, instead it was clear by the fact it didn't immediately vanish until after she released the effort it there was no life force resisting the presence of her invasive magic any longer.
She stumbled a bit, before shivering and starting to walk to find her weapon. "He's dead..." she shivered slightly before raising her voice "We can all relax a bit, but he had a friend.."

Zekial had the man pinned, and was now sitting on the mans back lightly so as not to hurt the man further, he needed to be questioned now. He noticed his vision was slowly coming back. Everything was pretty damn bright still but he was making out basic shapes at least. That's when he heard the girl speak. "He's... Did I...? OH GOD!" he shouted as he leaped off the man and stood quickly, trying to listen and locate the girl who was talking. "Are you Ok? And did I...?" he gestured vaguely towards the dead man.

Reis barely got onto his knees to turn and look around the tree he was hiding behind. He saw a dead body on the ground, the girl, and another man. He waited a little longer before revealing himself. Reis let out a stiffled groan of pain from the arrow that was still in him, even though he had barley moved around.

She shook her head at the new arrival. "No, he died between his attempt to blind us, and you attacking again." She found her knife and picked it up, shaking it clean despite there seeming to be nothing on it before she put it away in her coat.
"I think I'm alright, it's painful, and my nerves are a little twitchy after the shock but I'll live. I'm more worried about our friend with the arrow sticking out of him."

As his vision became normal he took in his surroundings and seeing the dead body next to him jumped back about a foot. He then looked at the girl and took her in for a moment. "Wait, we have a friend with an arrow sticking out of his side?" He asked confused not seeing him or the second attacker previously mentioned. "Wait, does that mean were friends?"
Zekial wasn't the best when it came to friendship, in that the small town where he grew up was mostly family. Sure you can have friends and family as one, but it wasn't the same as friends with totally new people -not- related to you. "Hey!" he said loudly hoping the hurt man could hear him. "Need some help!? I have some gauze and medical tape in the toolbox in my truck! Oh, and I have a truck!"

He decided they could be trusted. Reis came out from behind the thick tree and limped over to the two people without speaking, trying to save this strength. His hand was wounded and there was an arrow sticking out of his side, not too deep.

She nodded at Reis. "Good job hiding, know some men in your situation would get that chivalrous hero syndrome and think to dive out to a heroic death to save the girl. Nice to see someone smarter then the usual." she said with a bit of a dark chuckle.
She turned her attention back to their savior. "Considering you beat up the people trying to kill us I think it's safe to say you earned the title of friend from me at least. We'll see about" she paused for a moment "'kibble' over here keeping that title after you see about how safe getting the arrow out of him is."

Zekial nodded as the girl spoke, and kept nodding in agreement with her words, until she was done. He paused a moment, his mind somewhat blank, before he realized he should be running over to his truck to get the supplies. "Oh! Right!" he said coming to attention . "I dont really know about arrows inside of people, it's usually stuff for cuts when i'm working. We can try though!" then he was suddenly running towards his truck to get the supplies.

"Pain is a good motivator I think." He replied to the girl quietly. He was too tired and weak to reply to her comment. When he finally limped over close enough to the others, he sat down on the ground with labored breathing to cope with the pain. He watched the man run over to his truck.
He must be from a big village to own a truck.
Something suddenly dawned on Reis, "Wait, what happened to the second guy? The one who shot me, did you get him??" He asked quickly, in a panic.

"I know that all too well." She didn't seem to be looking anywhere in particular with her milky white eyes. Waiting a few moments as the man ran back to his truck before she actually closed her eyes, following Reis' example before taking a seat in a meditative position. Slowly trying to take stock of just how the electrical spell had injured her.
"Hmm, I thought I said, but maybe I didn't. I do that sometimes..." she kept her eyes closed and remained in her meditative position, seemingly not worried. "He was running away from us, but that doesn't mean he won't be back. Likewise I'd assume we inflicted far more harm on him then he managed against us given the loss of his magic support, and if my guess is correct his familiar."
She seemed to think for a few moments before continuing. "If we remain here then he has to sneak up on us, if we worry about his plans and move too soon then we run the risk of stepping into another trap. If we rest some then the risk is him and his allies coming to us... and I suppose if that were to happen I'd probably be able to buy us enough time to use that truck in our escape."

As he ran back towards his truck he thought about everything that had just occured. Man, what a really eventful five minutes! He wanted to look at the body when he got back to try and find the caddle-prod thing he had that generated electricity. That might be useful. He skidded to a halt in front of his truck and jumped into the bed of his truck to get the toolbox in the back.

Reis took note of the girl's lack of focus when she looked at something. As if she wasn't looking at anything in particular. He paid it no mind, for now. He instead listened to what she had to say. Reis nodded in agreement.
"So long as we're hidden, if that guy comes back. Do you know these woods well or something? I'm new to this area."

She shook her head. "No, I've never been through these parts before. I've just followed the road. It sounds like there is a creek nearby, and I know there was a river back that way around an hour ago at my walking pace, a town about a day and a half's walk past that.."
