Onora post 3Onora gave a laugh when he jokingly admitted to watching her, though happily took his hand for help. Finally she got up and plopped her large body next to him, keeping the skirt covering what was needed to be covered. Even though she could understand his anger, she felt that it was something that could be discussed into submission. She noticed him making a weird gesture and when her eyes scanned to see what he did it to, she saw an Alkidike. Her brows furrowed and she gave a slight push, almost falling. When she stabled herself again, she saw him tossing his knife, and she made a noise that sounded like a snort and sigh mixture. Her eyes rolled slightly as she gave a wave with her spoon. "Oh calm that heated behind of yours!" She said before giving a laugh before whispering. "Don't worry, she won't do anything if you don't. The crowd won't allow it. We need to focus on teaming up if we are planning on fighting against the crowd coming." She gave a smile, trying to calm down the guy she knew she could call a friend, and gave a smile across to the Alkidike woman, hoping she wouldn't use the arrows.

Chimelu Post Three"Oh, well I'm glad you decided to open this inn then." He responded with a genuine smile. He would be willing to fight if it came down to it, but he'd rather try finding other options if the opportunity arose. When the tall, muscular man was referred to Chimelu once more tried not to cringe. "I don't have my bow on me anyways, so I guess that's a good thing." He licked his lips a bit nervously but trying to keep the smile on his lips. He was a nice guy? For a split second, Chimelu allowed himself to believe her until the giant mass of a man smiled and waved and all he could do was gulp--loudly.
There was no way. Chimelu was dying to tonight and that man Gyuri standing there was going to be the undertaker. That smile? Surely a confident grin of 'yes, I'm going to break you like a twig with my two thumbs. Oh and that wave. That wave. That was like the battle-dance of the man. Want to come have a go at it? I'm waiting... That's what that wave signified. "Uh----um-m-mm." Chimelu responded with a nod and look that surely something to laugh at. "He. . . . looks. . . so friendly." Would Gyuri be less willing to kill him if he cried? He wasn't sure if he wanted to cry or die from terror. That wave and smile were so deadly.

OpticPeach For Zumei, if you don't mind. C8 Eije Post 3
Giving a sniff into the air, Namidu gave a soft call, breaking Eije out of her grumpy state. She followed his eyes to a wind female to the side, just around her age.... All of this talk of war made her anxoius to the point of anger and, in all honesty, she should probably get rid of the attitude and talk to people, maybe make an ally even if she herself couldn't fight.
Putting a smile on her face, she made her way towards Zumei, her sailscale making his way out of her pack and onto her shoulder. He wanted to meet someone new and being stuck in that bag wouldn't help. "Hey, what do you think of all this?" she made a motion towards the stage and the leaders. Being direct was probably her best pet to see just what this girl was thinking, but she was friendly about it at least. "And I'm Eije, by the way," she said grinning.

Araie Post 3Araie squeaked as the kinfa landed on her, falling backwards into the wall that was behind her now. After a few panicked movements she managed to get the bird off of her and on the ground in front of her. She grumbled for a few moments, attempting to fix her hair and her outfit. The kinfa certainly had done a number of her well done appearance. "What in the world were you trying to accomplish....Raiha? What are you doing here? If you're here, that must mean..." Araie trailed off her words, looking around the crowd of people. Last she had known, Raiha and Dezani had been inseparable. Did that mean the Leafling was here? Her heart speed up a little bit at the thought and she bite the inside of her cheek. Calm down, Araie. You don't even know if he's here or not. No need to get too excited yet.Still. It would be good to see him again if he was here. Araie leaned down to the kinfa and patted it's head, glad to see that it still liked her. "Raiha, can you lead me to Dezani please?" Araie asked. The kinfa squawked at her and then took off into the crowd and the Ice girl was forced to run after the animal, dodging people as she went. If Dezani wasn't here, she was going to be very embarrassed after all of this.

Zumei Post 3"Oh hello! I'm Zumei," the young girl smiled, happy to be interacting with someone. She was never very good at starting conversations, but she did love to interact with people especially if they could teach her a thing or two. "As far as what I think of all of this well.....I want to protect my home in any way I can. I'd hate to start a fight with anyone, especially since I have no training as a warrior of any sorts, but if that's what it takes to protect my home and father then I'll have to do just that!" She was a bit nervous to tell her point of view to a stranger seeing how there had been quite a bit of arguing going on, but it couldn't hurt too much right? She really just wanted to help. "What about you? What do you think of this whole situation?"mewmewkittykat94 I don't mind at all! biggrin Dezani Post 4Dezani spotted his kinfa fluttering back to him and sighed, holding his arm out to her. She was a load of trouble of course and if she wasn't getting into something she was pecking at him for attention. It seemed as if the bird had brought a friend though, and as she drew closer he swore she looked like Araie. He knew she'd returned to Zena, but why would she have made her way to Sauti? She was supposed to be with her family and not trying to fight a war. "That couldn't be her. It really couldn't be. She'd stay with her family, not come here of all places."

NEIBET POST 4
Slowly Neibet let her gaze sweep across the crowd to where Aselia kept looking, the flames that danced around her fingers warming the space between them. "Don't give him the satisfaction of being the 'victim'." She said, baring her teeth at the earthling that was now tossing a knife up into the air. She hoped he missed one of his catches. "Anything we do will only cause them to attack us, and attempt to chase us away. This is our only lead on the Firebird is it not?"
Snarling Neibet turned to the crystal crawler that dared to talk to them, but swallowing her own advice was bitter medicine indeed. Slowly she smoothed over her expression as she took him in. Drunkard, she thought with a sneer. "We came to see the Firebird." She said, voice filled with the contempt she felt for their kind. Oh how she wanted to tell him to mind his own business, but there were too many people listening in now, and to tell him off would be starting something.

KDAL POST 3
Her hands fluttered uselessly as Zuberi bodily lifted the smaller Matorian up into the air. "Zuberi!" She cried out, tugging at one of his arms. "Put him down! That's not going to calm him down at all!" She tugged at his arm a little harder, but was careful not to throw off his balance. If that happened then both of them would take a tumble and one of them was sure to get hurt. "Breath! Just take one breath at a time! It's all in your head, there's air here, we're breathing fine."
They needed to get to the edge of the crowd and quick.

Zuberi Post 3Zuberi frowned at Kda, but lowered L'lhynd as she told him to do. He listened to what the wind shifter said to the Matorian. He wasn't good with these sort of things and whatever was happening to L'lhynd worried him. His hand opened and closed on the swords on his hips with the need to do something, anything, to make L'lhynd feel better. He scanned the crowd, trying to think of a solution until his gaze landed on an inn not too far away. He put a hand on Kdal's shoulder and nodded in the inn's direction. "Maybe we should take him there and get away from the crowd."

L'lhynd Post 3Worse than the fact that he felt like he couldn't breathe was perhaps the deep feeling of mortification that had set into his bones. He couldn't believe this was happening here of all places. He felt deeply sorry towards Kdal and Zuberi both, for having to deal with this. He knew how likely their opinions probably varied from his own; they were both aspiring warriors. L'lhynd was nothing, and he certainly wasn't going to die from another race's foolish need to conquer. He always was never going to allow himself to be captured again, but who knew if the Alkidikes even did that.
As he was suddenly hoisted into the air his hands flew to Zuberi's wrists, digging in because he suddenly had several thoughts of exactly how he would die, falling from this height. L'lhynd had stopped any manner of vocal response, simply trying to gulp the air he felt like he couldn't breathe. He could feel his tears, but couldn't remember when he'd started to cry. But more disconcerting than the thought of falling from Zuberi's arms was the fact that L'lhynd had caught sight of the alkidikes. He felt himself dry heave and desperately he wanted to tell Zuberi to put him down, but had no words. Suddenly he could hear Kdal commanding Zuberi to put him down, as well as offering her advice. He could have kissed her, even though the advice wasn't terribly helpful. The panic would pass, even if the shame and embarrassment stuck around. In his head, he knew he could breathe... knew there was no possible way he was suffocating... but he also knew that he was suffocating, that he couldn't breathe. Right now? His head wasn't a fun place to be.
He heaved again when his feet were planted on the earth, then tilted his head back to try and stop that from happening, his fingers curling into Zuberi's shirt. The inn. Away from the crowd. Leaving... those all sounded wonderful to L'lhynd.

Duke Edward Drake Seze - It was a struggle not to make christmas-came-early jokes Lirende Niebet - Poker face vs poker face Silver_tigress18 Aselia - Hey some fishboy is talking to your travelling partner Ruelash (Post 3) ”Yeh.” said Ruelash. This was why he liked Sezarra – she wasn't a weaselly idiot like some others. In fact, she was a lot like Iroia, but younger. A good kid. Woe betide any man that tried for her hand. ”I wonder if they be here for a fight?” he asked out loud, settling into a stealthy stance as he crept closer to the Alkidikes. He hoped they were – he was always ready for a fight. War had shown itself to be better than any present-giving holiday for him, and if they were here for a fight... well. His blades were already drawn in the hopes that war had come early... and he was very very hopeful.
”Hey, seze!” he said, with delighted excitement, tugging her closer and pointing to the flames in the Alkidikes hand, ”Is she making fire?!” he hadn't realized that Alkidike even did that. He'd never seen it happen before. He was practically bouncing with anticipation now – if she could throw more than little sparks of fire, then he would be in for a fun fight!Dovev (Post 2) The contempt in her voice was hard to miss, but being a Matori in Oba had made him accustomed to contempt and ill treatment and worse. She was, at least, courteous enough to not call him disparaging names in public, not that that would have ruffled Dovev's fins any more than... anything would.
”Ah, the firebird. The Suhurama. This one has only ever heard legends, old ones from the far East of Oba, where the desert meets the mountains. This one had not realized that they were actually real.” He took another drink, the mug masking his beastial eyes as they scanned the crowd around them and checked the tension levels therein. It seemed that attention towards the Alkidikes was starting to grow, and what attention was already there was very wary. ”Nor that one would be at this festival.”

Zuberi Post 4The feel of L'lhynd's fingers curled into his shirt somehow reassured him. The feeling of confusion and uselessness that had started to come over him eased. Right now, he was L'lhynd's anchored and as his anchored it was his responsibility to get him to a place he would feel safer. He would have picked him up and carried him to the inn, but Kdal had said picking L'lhynd up wasn't a good idea and he didn't want to make the situation worst. So instead he reached over and put his arm gently around L'lhynd's waist, hope that the gesture would be comforting. "I'll take you to the inn. Would that help?"

KDAL POST 4"It should, it's a darker place, quiet, away from the crowds." She could hear people muttering about how there were Alkidikes in the crowd. From his abrupt vantage point L'lhynd must have spotted them as well and knowing how the other was, that possibly made his episode even worse. She chewed on her lower lip, ignoring the tiny voice in her head that sounded like her father scolding her for the action. "Lets go, there's one close by if I remember. Even if they're booked for the day we can still get something to drink and sit around for a bit."Kdal wanted to stay and listen, add her voice into the crowd, but it was better to stay with her friends and keep an eye on them. They were hopeless without her after all, and she'd only known them for a short amount of time!

Araie Post 4Araie took a deep breath as the kinfa finally stopped and settled down next to a stall where a male Leafling stood. The bird had dragged her through quite a crowd and Araie was more than willing to take a few moments to catch her breath. Man, she really needed to work on her stamina if a bird was able to wear her out. She had been relaxing too long at her parent's house instead of training. She would have to fix that. When she finally caught her breath, Araie stood and looked at the stall Raiha had led her to. The man that stood there looked oddly familiar, but there was no way that was Dezani. He had gotten taller and fitter and was still not wearing a shirt. But the crystal placement, the facial structure, it was all right. If that really was Dezani, he had grown quite a bit in their time apart. Taking a chance, she approached him and smiled. "Dezani, is that really you?"

L'lhynd Post 4L'lhynd couldn't tell if he liked Zuberi's arm around his waist or if it was making it worse, but for now he was trying to focus on stop making such a mess of himself. He felt very thankful to Kdal, who seemed to know a little bit about panic attacks. If he'd been at home he would have been much better at dealing with it, crawling into some tight and enclosed space of his own until it finally passed.
L'lhynd did want to go away from the crowd though, away from the spying Alkidikes... away from all of the stimuli. He suddenly let go of Zu, pushing away from him and making a bee-line for the inn without saying a word to his two companions.

Vescillea relaxed; it appeared that most people were being logical and considerate.. thinking and discussing with no wild accusations. Or at least not too wild! Freya was also a pleased to see that the Wind tribe members here were not spineless and most voices were raised in support of defending their homes rather than fleeing elsewhere. Some had good ideas too! She smiled slightly, before resuming her normal scowling visage.
"Your ideas have merit! I will need volunteers at first to go scout the boundaries of our lands and give us forewarning of just where they are attacking."
"Or if they are actually going thorough with the threat." Vescillea piped up. Freya waved a hand; "Fne. If the threat is true. For those of you who are asking why.. we do not know the exact reason at this moment.... it is hard to get reason out of fanatics after all." Vescillea sighed and shook her head; some days there was no reasoning with her friend.
Vescialla and Freya noticed the aggressive acts of one wind male, siting above the crowd and tossing a dagger in his hand. Freya noticed first and she spotted the source of his acts. Scowling she strode forward and jumped off the uplifted stage to approach the alkidikes standing off in the crowd.
Their sources were certain that Alkidikes were coming.. and these did not look like girls out to enjoy themselves... not when one had flames dancing in the palms of her hands! Freya was knowledgeable enough to know that Alkidikes did not use magic.. except for the Mystics who had never left the Islands before.
"Why is a Mystic here? During this time when word is that your people are going to attack us?" She growled, a hand on her whip's handle. Other hands went to weapons as well. Rather than become frightened most of the crowd who was noticing the alkidikes were feeling more hostile. They wanted a fight? Then they'd fight...
Not all felt that way, and the more nervous began to slip to the edges of the crowd, away from any potential fight. Mothers were tugging children away, much to the children's disappointment at not getting to see a fight. Who knew just how many of these amazon women were here already?
