"It's all about working hard and livin' it up. So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"Nearly dying had been a tough pill to swallow; fighting off some demons hadn't washed away the bad taste that losing to Dubhe and nearly being wiped out, then saved at the last second by Colm out of his mouth. And so he found himself in the Shiroku Store, drinking a little of the old lady's hidden booze amidst the crumbling walls...trying to forget what had nearly become of him. He needed to regroup, to find another attack plan.
He could wait just a little longer and have another drink first, right?

Just when he had started to relax, a large mob of Inaba hicks had made their way to what was known as the only real night spot in the town with the intention of looting hardcore and stomping underfoot anybody who got in their way. And yet the only one in their way was this single young man, a pink-haired drummer with a nonplussed look at first...and then a wolfish grin as he set the bottle of booze down and cracked his knuckles. "You wanna fight? HUUUUH?!"
This was just what he needed to get right...

It was happening again...
Youmu braced herself before another Seal, as the JPs agents stood around.
"Another demon..?" she called, averting her gaze. They needed her help again...and there was another demon they needed unleashed, to help fend off the creatures.
"Are you ready, Miss Konpaku?" one of the agents asked, as she turned.
"Yes..." she called, before holding out her phone. As the other Agents circled to release the seal on a new spirit, she summoned forth the last spirit...the spirit of Earthys. A strange, green demon burst from the shrine, and seemed to twitch around, looking them over.
"CoNTrAcT?"
Youmu stood her ground, as the earthen demon raised it's hand.
"CoNtRaCT. GiRl. sTrOnG. her earthen companion called, as she stood firmly facing the demon. It circled around a few more times, before sliding down.
"iT iS SeTtLed."
A powerful gust of wind tore through...enough to make her push down her skirt as the demon encircled her...And as it went into her phone, the Agents directed her towards a horde of demons.
"Time to see what Aeros can do.."

Kyuzo Rikkio"...One never stumbles when they walk the righteous path..." "I like ice cream. I wonder what the first of those non-demons looks like..." Those were two thoughts Kyuzo ACTUALLY had that did not relate to each other at all. Pure coincidence, I assure you. What wasn't coincidence however, was his pass through the Shopping District along with several JPs agents. They needed to keep the area secure from demons for the time being, since it was near the heart of the town. If they didn't, then the protection of the area could fall apart in no time. But as for what they might find here...Kyuzo gripped his sword hilt, and inwardly hoped it wasn't more Rioters. That was a road he'd been forced to walk twice now, and it was a bitter aftertaste each time. "...wait, haven't I been here before?" Quote: Kyuzo performs a routine sweep for demons with JPs. Kyuzo Rikkio"...One never stumbles when they walk the righteous path...""This is that Tofu Shop, right? Lets bust in and see if they left any noms behind. It'd be wasted on the people around here." Suddenly the commander of the JPs squad with Kyuzo moved towards one of the shops nearby, and Kyuzo raised a hand to stop him before hesitating. He wasn't sure if there was anyone left, so it might have been fair to take the food...but surely survivors would be through before long. "Go away! This food's for decent folk!" But as soon as he was about to go silent, his doubts were renewed, as the owner of the shop yelled at the pounding JPs agents. It seemed the shop wasn't as abandoned as they thought, and yet now the leader was trying to pry the door open even harder. "Open up lady! We need this food so we can stay strong and protect this song!" The JPs agents seemed to be getting more irritated by the moment, and Kyuzo could feel a conflict brewing. "Stop it." Kyuzo put a hand on the man's shoulder, but it was quickly knocked away. There it was again...that desperate urgency which Hatsuin seemed to be purposely brewing. "I'll come back later. There's no point in wasting manpower now. Plus...it's wrong." His plea was quickly scoffed at, but sensing his willingness to fight over it, the squad quickly gave up. Inwardly, Kyuzo sighed...but also felt more anxious than ever. "...wait, haven't I been here before?" Quote: Kyuzo reluctantly forces his squad of JPs away from the Tofu Stand, but under promise to return later and negotiate for the food. Current Demons: Mother Harlot: Earn extra coin per roll. Made him want to hunt down that white-haired artist he had been with the other night and find somewhere cozy...wait, was that someone moaning on the far side of the room? He thought he'd knocked them all unconscious already...
"Oops..." his foot lashed out and cracked the guy in the chin, knocking him unconscious where he lay. His smile betrayed any hint of 'accident' about the strike, of course. "I guess it's time to go out and find those JPs guys again and get back to wor-"
"What did you do to Jimmy, you b*****d?! I'll kill you!" A voice screamed from the doorway as Touma looked up at the fool shaking where he stood, before launching himself at the drummer like some kind of a conquering, avenging hero. "DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE-HRNGH!"
...A boot to the solar-plexus cut off the cry, and the poor kid crumbled to the floor foaming at the mouth.
"Right, JPs...where would they be around here, I wonder?"

But, after she had landed, she ended up colliding face first into a nice lady. as she had looked down to May, se questioned in concern. "Hey there...are you all right? That looked like a rough fight. I'm Otome...you should be more careful, you know. I can't always be here to patch you up." But May shook her head as she held up her fist in confidence "I am sure that I am alright, Ms. Otome!" But all that had garnered in response was a pout and Otome cleaning a scratch May had on her forehead. "Nonsense. Now be careful, alright?" Kyuzo Rikkio"...One never stumbles when they walk the righteous path..."The incident in the Shopping District was still on Kyuzo's mind, but even as he separated from the JPs squad he could feel the scorn they held for his way of thinking. Wasn't it right to want to help everyone, and not to take from others unless it was necessary? The woman herself said she wanted to offer her goods to those who needed it. For the time being, Kyuzo had given JPs the Junes Department Store, and there were more than enough supplies there to hold them over. In fact...it was likely that a fight might begin soon, when people became desperate for such things on their own. Much to his regret, when he returned to Junes that's just what he found. "Clear out! We don't have anything for the likes of you." The officer barked harshly. "Hey, at least be a little sensitive. These people are-" "Shut up! Trash like this have no right asking for handouts. Lets clear these people out before they start a riot..."Kyuzo paused. It wouldn't be alright to let a fight start now, so he needed to help usher them away peacefully, but the JP's reasons for it...he couldn't stand it anymore. Something had to be done. her new Gust of a demon sent out a wave of elemental energy at this, bursting through the line of demons that had been standing in their way. She braced herself slightly, drawing her weapon for a swift strike......
Though, Aeros had handily taken down most of them. She felt kind of proud, commanding a demon like that.
'I'm..starting to feel really good about this. she thought, as she sheathed her weapon, Aeros returning to her phone. Though..I have to wonder...should I...
She glanced at her phone, and the two options she neglected. Fusion, and the auction....

"It's all about working hard and livin' it up. So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"His first thought had been to head out to the Embryon Headquarters on the outskirts of town, but en route he'd noticed a large horde of demons migrating towards the center of town. Even in his currently-enthused state, there had been simply too many for him. Waiting wisely around the corner of the bookstore, he let them pass down the road before peeking his head out and starting again towards his destination.
Skulking about wasn't his style, but he wasn't about to let himself get caught unaware as he had against Dubhe. The first thing they HAD to do in this world was survive. Everything else came secondary. He had to tell himself that...and ignore thoughts about where those demons were heading and who might be in their path.

Youmu had been briefed on the situation by another JPs agent...
There was going to be a difficult task ahead of them....a myriad of demons had broke loose, and Yamato Hotsuin wanted them to clear it out.
As they were preparing to approach the area though, she glanced at her phone.
I should.. she thought, looking at the auction, and fusion. Her thumb rested over the select key.....As it asked if she wanted to fuse.
"Yes.." she said to herself, before they came together...And she widened her eyes.
As the encounter started, she held up her phone..and gave a small, but noticeable smirk.
"Waira!"
A tall, lanky demon..whose appearance denied it's true speed...Devil Speed. And as they zoomed across the battlefield, tearing down enemies with the surprise attacks from the enhanced power..
Youmu couldn't help but smile.
'I feel so cool!'

So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"He had been fortunate to slip past the horde of demons, and as he made his way towards the Embryon Headquarters he could already see the JPs banners and telltale yellow uniforms on the guard stationed out front. This was definitely the place they were operating out of in Inaba...but what he didn't recognize was the girl with the blue hair and gray streak in the back that he came across as he made his way towards the base. It wasn't the first JPs person he had met, but this one wore black and seemed to have some command over the group. She turned to greet him with a business-like approach, but her tone was as compassionate as it was commanding. It was easy to tell at a glance she was a leader loved by her people.
"Sorry, but this is JPs property right now. I'm going to have to ask you to..." she began, but he raised his phone and put the app on immediate display to catch her attention and hush her up, "You have the summoning App? Does that mean you're willing to volunteer your skills for JPs?" She looked uncertain, but at the same time, there was a hint of fear about them that told Touma they were looking for good men. And they weren't going to find a better fighter than he was...
"That's me. A real team player," he almost laughed, and he could tell she was skeptical, "I ran into something earlier that wasn't a demon. Nearly killed me...I figure if we team up, we have a chance to win." It was the best he could offer to put her at ease. And after a few thoughtful moments and a deep sigh, the woman nodded and motioned for the others to allow him to enter.
"Thank you, Makushima...you must know I am aware who you are, right? But despite your reputation, we could use a man of your talents. And we need help if we're going to survive this. So...thank you." He merely nodded his agreement. "Yeah, yeah...you're welcome."
With a wave, he passed by Makoto Sako and went inside the HQ to get ready to make a difference.
