[ Dormitories - Lukas ] Lukas could, actually, sleep through quite a lot, when he felt safe -- which meant that the claxons blared for a bit before he twitched out a deep, brief sleep to stare up at lights that were, for some reason, inexplicably on. It should have driven him into a panic, but instead it just made him groan, low. He was tired, it was early, and he didn't feel, well.... well. A shudder went up his spine, a creeping chill, and he tried to close his eyes to go back to sleep. Hopeless. the noise was too much, now that he was conscious, with voices and footsteps in the hall outside of his room. Slowly, he levered himself into a sitting position, a hand going across his forehead -- hot, very hot -- and blew out a frustrated breath. It took him longer than it should have to get dressed, to slowly haul on clothes and then, finally, to poke his head out into the hallway to see what the hell was going on. CHANCE - COURTYARDHe staggered sideways, ran into someone, and straightened himself again.
"Yo, Shaggy, lookin' good," said Chance, giving him a mock salute that was not exactly a salute, because Chance's pale face was even paler than it normally was.
"Seems like we've got a bit of an epidemic on our hands or some s**t."Quote: Chance:Virus Counter: 9 HP: 50 GALE - DORMSGale made a sound like an annoyed cat and stumbled to the door, his head spinning. He cast a glance back at Stormy and reached out to give her hand a reassuring squeeze, trying to ignore the fear rapidly rising in his chest.
He'd somehow done this, and he wasn't about to hide it, but he also didn't want Stormy to be stuck in the line of fire should Rep and Lucky come find him.
Gale pulled open the door.
"Nora," he said weakly. "You okay?"Quote: Gale:Virus Counter: 8 HP: 60 ARORANGI - DORMSNot hearing Ori in his head was disconcerting; Arorangi stumbled along down the hallway, shaking his head every few seconds to try and dispel some of the dizziness, but it was to no avail. He gritted his teeth against it, plastered a determined look on his face, and kept walking.
Several people rushed by him, followed by a few more that were looking just about as good as Arorangi felt. He gave them an encouraging nod and kept going, one hand on the wall of the hallway to keep himself steady.
He finally reached Lydia's dorm, and by then had at least pushed himself enough that he felt marginally better (but only marginally).
"Lydia?" Arorangi called, knocking on her door and then pushing it open, for once not waiting politely to wait for her to answer. He was too concerned over her safety to warrant his usual hesitations now, his heart hammering in his chest. "Aroha, are you in here?"Quote: Arorangi:Virus Counter: 9 HP: 40

dormitoriesFelicia blinked owlishly at the new girl, incredulous. Well. At least she wasn't the only one who was a complete ******** failure over here. There was misery in company! Isn't that how the saying went? "F-f-Felicia," she offered with a wave, eyes darting around. An attempt to summon her weapon failed miserably, causing her to frown. "Can you s-summon?" [RIPLEY - dormitories]Weapon?
"…Silent. Yours?" The realization was uncomfortable at best; and all the more reason to get out Finn's room. His efforts to get dressed had doubled.
Finding his coat was a chore, but he did it. It was half around his shoulders when he felt a grip on his arm, pulling on him, forcing him to turn. The hunter turned as he was bid, turning a rather irritated stare towards the one holding onto him. His gaze searched Finn's, taking the time to look his eyes over for any signs of change, though he was quite aware the same thing was being done to him. So far, he seemed normal. You know, as normal as the situation could get.
"You're no catch either." He shoved the grip off of his arm and went back to putting his coat on. "Come on, dumbass." He had nothing of his hunter equipment on him, save for a couple of bandages in his coat. Then, taking a deep breath in an attempt to lessen the nausea, he grabbed the handle the dorm door, and opened it to disappear into the red hallway.

[Courtyard]Sitting against the wall like a punk, with a punk, made Maebe think she should have had a cigarette in her hand, for maximum cool factor. It was a shame that she didn't smoke, and Taym was nowhere nearby. Instead, when she looked to see who was, she saw Dawson talking to Chance, and slumped her shoulders until her head lolled down between her knees. Where was the alarm for person you're crushing on and therefore were trying not to see for a while? Who forgot to replace the batteries on that one? At least Chance was there. She hardly knew the man, but he looked like a fair buffer in case things got dicey. The last thing she wanted to do was throw away her newfound lifestyle by being bitter at Dawson when he didn't deserve it. He'd done nothing to deserve the snap of her tongue, even as it rose up to meet him. Nothing. Literally. Nothing. And that was the problem. That cigarette would have really come in handy, right about then.

Courtyard"You're such a ******** delight first thing in the morning, you know that?" Despite everything, however, Finn managed to smirk before rubbing a hand over his face. "No, he's quiet too. I never thought I would be unhappy about that." Another wave of nausea, and Finn was shaking his head, eye closing. He heard the door opening, heard the scuffle of Ripley's feet as he left the room, and he opened his eye again to follow him out. The hallway was, of course, crowded with those milling around, looking for others, panicking, not knowing what to do. He shoved through them all, following after Ripley until they made it outside, to a courtyard that was also full of people. Head still swimming, he scanned the area. "There's Jack." He pointed out, seeing the tall man with his beacon of green hair, standing with Leslie of all people. Lifting an arm, he hailed the other man, not really feeling up to making his way all the way over there at that moment. Nope. Just staying on his feet was hard enough. "Don't die today, okay?" He mumbled to Ripley, before taking another long, steadying breath. OOC Finn virus counter: 9 HP: 60

[IN COURTYARD]
Rep spotted Leslie over by Jack and mad his way over. When he was nervous, it always made him feel better to really dig into someone fragile, someone who he could get away with.
"It's team sullen medic!" he said before narrowing his eyes at Leslie. "Hope you at least ******** brought bandages, brat." He had never been fond of the kid since their run in on the delivery at the arctic. There was something irritatingly familiar about the sullen younger hunter and here and now with desperation snapping at his heels, it was easy to be rude.
"If you haven't, gonnae have to throw yourself in ******** front of anything that shows."

[Dormitories] "Felicia," Sherry repeated to herself. "This one here is Mimi." She pointed to girl. In her mind she reached out to Armagnac again, and her hand moved with reflex. Nothing. "No, I can't." At least it wasn't just her. "It's like my weapon isn't even there." So unsettling. The nervous knot in her chest grew. "Phones are down, too. At least mine is. Is yours?" She gave Mimi another pat and looked at Felicia. Quote: Virus Counter: 8 HP: 60/60 1 vial of antivirus

Mimi sniffed and nodded, trying to do as instructed. "D-desole, I was just so scared when the alarms went off, and..." It was then she realized that she probably made a pretty bad first impression on the other girl, who had introduced herself as Felicia. It was a really pretty name, and Mimi would have gushed over it if she weren't so terrified.Quote: MimiLocation: Dorms Virus Counter: 2 HP: 40/40

Quinn - Courtyardit seemed rather pointless to him staying inside the Dorms, if the threat was in there he was certain there would have been more noise and less chatter in the halls. It probably would have been safer to stay there, Maybe? The courtyard seemed safe enough. He really did need to get out more instead of locking himself into the Research department and paper pushing, all the same, he spotted a group of hunters he was actually somewhat familiar with. Sliding over he greeted them with a nod. "Hi guys, long time! Uh...Does...anyone know what is going on?" He didn't like getting woken up, not around 4 AM if possible, but it wasn't exactly surprising either. Quote: I DONT KNOW YOUR GAIA NAMES ANYMORE Aaaaa this is for Tig, Kuro, and Sam! Dorm For several more long moments she fretted, her hand going to the handle on her dorm room door, and then pulling away. She should go out there, should see what was going on, should find out why she couldn't hear Rorric. But she was scared. She could see the red light filtering in through the bottom of her door, could hear the alarms, and all it did was serve as a reminder for that place again. That place where she had seen too much, had lost too much... The door opened and Lydia let out a startled yelp of surprised, taking a step back that was quickly halted when she saw just who it was, his voice the sweetest thing she thought that she had ever heard. "Aro...." She gasped, instead, the step back she had taken quickly replaced by two taken forward, the look of worry melting away to relief. And then quickly to worry again. "Are...are you okay? Should we go outside? You look like you could use some air!" Her hands reached for one of his, clutching it tight, trembling. OOC Lydia Virus Counter: 3 HP: 40

[ courtyard ]Lucky was not used to people offering him positive motivation. He regarded Wilson's stare like a deer in the headlights, before averting his gaze in mental defeat. He took a breath. "You're right. You're right." "Hey," he greeted Bradley uncertainly. Shiloh's appearance garnered a look of surprise, horror, and then finally, acceptance-slash-relief. Lucky kind of deserved to die this way. Wilson's comment startled him again, less so than before though. Had he been that obvious...? Maybe it was because he'd spent every night since the incident lying awake and waiting for it to happen. "Oh, um. I'm not - I'm not sure what this is, actually. But I, uh, I have a good guess." "I think we might be under attack. Something is looking for the island, and I think it found us." "If it's here..." He made a valiant effort to try to spot Gale in the crowd, but there was no sign of him. He wasn't going to find any help in explaining this, but he wouldn't throw Gale to the wolves until it was clear this was, indeed, all Gale's fault. "It can spread a... a disease. Like a virus. And..." And other than seeing Gale shrivel up into a blackened husk of a mouthpiece for an entity beyond mortal comprehension, Lucky had no idea what that disease actually looked like."Just don't get sick?" Lucky offered unhelpfully as he noticed how many pairs of eyes were now on him. It was probably a good idea not to tell people that there was a chance of transforming into 'something not quite human'. He didn't know where the lies ended and the truths began with Charlotte sometimes, but he had seen enough convincing evidence that he believed her on this. And therefore, wanted to be as far away as possible from the epicenter of the disaster. "I- I mean... Maybe it's nothing, though. It could just be training..." He didn't sound like he believed a word of his own excuses. Quote: HP: 50 Counter: 4 Runics: Runic bandages Trapping Gun

Considering that his lookin' good look was not at all a good look (as far as Dawson was concerned at least), Chance got a small pout. This was quickly replaced with some relief; friendly faces at least. "E-Epiwhat?" he asked with wide eyes, scratching his (way too smooth) chin, which in turn rubbed on his nerves even more. "<******** didn't see Chris or Chel or Scout or Abbi or--no, Maebe was there. He grabbed his phone, ready to try for the umpteeth time to get it to work, and then he did a double take. She was with Otto. Sticking to him and just looking over where he and Chance were. Well that was...good. He didn't believe it was safe personally, but he couldn't just up and go over to say so. Syn couldn't offer him advice either; he'd never felt so vulnerable since getting to the island.
The rotund man shuffled his weight from foot to foot nervously, hands fiddling with each other. Until he was given some sort of direction, Dawson was a bundle of twitchy nerves. He gave Chance a helpless look and a small whine.
