Zar also followed the group into the tower, but he was still very much in looting mode (it was his right after battle clearly) and was still looking for what he could potentially liberate that would not be noticed as missing. He wasn't sure what this room was for in the first place, but most of the things did not look worth the effort of carrying them, books and maps for the most part did not seem to interest him.
What did interest him however was the table. He gave it a look over and even tried to gently lift one end of it to get an idea of its weight.
It was much too heavy for him to steal, he decided and started looking around at the rest of the room.

There was no question where TK would go. He zoomed straight for the books and sifted through the titles and contents.
A piece of parchment slid out of one of the books. On it was a single word:
Syusaki
drawn to the words that seemed to appear on the table. Did they say anything?
Letters began to form on the table where Wilson stood, slowly at first.
At the bottom emerged spindly handwritten letters that simply said:
Speak the prophecy and the true meaning will be revealed
lurks beneath
attempting to go up the staircase
Blade Kuroda
he went to climb the winding staircase
The staircase seemed to go up forever. Was there ever an end? Was it enchanted? Were Kostya and Shun stuck there forever?
Lurks beneath
stuck her tiny hand inside the grate, if it allowed it.[
Lurks was rewarded with a piece of crumpled up parchment. Unfolding it read a single word:
astaraeI
gravitated toward the maps and examined them
One of the maps didn't have any strange diagrams but instead written on it was simply one word:

What did interest him however was the table. He gave it a look over and even tried to gently lift one end of it to get an idea of its weight.
There was something under the table, something heavy. As the table itself was impressively large, it could have easily held anything underneath or even inside it.

He squinted at the words and placed a hand on Horace's shoulder. "Quickly write that down," Wilson requested in a quiet voice before standing up and looking around. There were spaces in the prophecy, so perhaps the room held clues to those missing words.
The other knights were already scattered around, so Wilson walked toward the cylindrical object, examining it and trying to look inside it, whatever it was.

My character's name: ser konstantin bashmet Character's journal link:here BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER
With dark brown hair and two days of stubble, Kostya is a rugged, attractive knight. Although he's not the tallest among the knights-- measuring in at only 5'7"-- his body is honed from the training he did in and around his native villages, sleek and whipcord strong. He prefers to work at range, utilizing a large crossbowshuriken as his weapon of choice.
In personality, Kostya leans towards the stoic, although a cruel streak in him leads to humor at other people's expenses. He traditionally carries around a small flagon of alcohol, acquired through whatever means necessary. He lacks true compassion, and cannot process empathy in any significant amount, leading him to take advantage of lesser folk-- by manipulation or force-- to get what he wants.

With a snakelike inclination towards dark places that had always been rather present in his nature, Zar decided to drop to his knees to investigate under the table. He didn't expect to find anything but dust, but that didn't stop him from looking anyway.

There was a loud clatter as the cylinder immediately fell apart into a thousand different tiny pieces and mechanisms.
There was however, also a parchment lodged inside:

TK hummed thoughtfully as he found a piece of paper with a word on it. It didn't seem very important, but he kept it for now anyways. Since the books had been looked at, and someone had decided dropping books on the floor was a great idea, TK peered at the bookshelf and ran his hand over the now-empty shelves in case he missed anything else.

"Rebuild?" Szczeosny repeated aloud in a very underwhelmed tone. He picked up the bizarre non-map out of the pile and held it up to the group.
"Does anyone have any idea what this means?" he asked. He puzzled it for a little bit himself. "Maybe this is what Sir Mordred went off to do."
It revealed whatever was under the table was rectangular, and made of a firm metallic allow - iron perhaps? It was ornate, beautiful almost, with gilded embellishing. The object however, seemed to also be attached to the bottom of the table in a series of hinges, suggesting it was very heavy in nature.

Wilson took a step back when the object immediately fell to pieces. That...That wasn't expensive, right? It wasn't that important, right? He tried not to look nervous as he sifted through the debris to pick up another piece of paper. As one of the knights held up the map, Wilson's face lit up.
"If you found a word, could you perhaps put it down on the table or someplace for everyone to see?" Immediately, Wilson walked over to place his own word down for all to look at.

This was too much. This was just all too much.
Swept up in despair again, Thackery climbed up onto the table and sprawled on top of it, where he began to cry Mordred's name once more.

TK kindly ignored Thack's wailing, placed his own word on Wilson's, and went back to checking behind the bookshself. Or something.
