Okay, this time he hoped not to get dysentery while on his journey. Or fall off a cliff for that matter, cause that seemed to happen a lot as well. Instead of either of those happening, Jason lead his horse right into a bees nest. With alot of screaming he jumped off his horse as it bolted the other way, leaving him to walk the rest of the way. This time he planned not to walk into the bees, or wolves, or bears, or big gray things, or anything for that matter because he was tired of being freaked out by things. Once he reached the labyrinth Jason could be rest assure that there wouldn't be any giant spiders. But there would probably be tiny ones, and he hated those just as much. As he fussed over the possibility of one hiding in his jacked he almost missed the big shadow expanding in front of him, and the searing heat on his back. With one glance behind, Jason was happy there was no one around ot hear him scream like a b***h. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 7.5 YOUR HP: 50

Jason stared at the one apple peice that was left in his back pack and wondered if it had ever been this low before. Oh well, he was almost to the top of the mountain, so he should have enough to get him home. Reaching the peak, he bent down to pick up the artifact; a very nice helmet by the looks of it. Knowing this was the last one, he let out of whoop of joy, and blanched as he felt the snow underneath gave way. He then took the fast route down the mountain. Now he had a full set of Armour, Jason was feeling pretty good about himself. In fact he was amazed he was amazed that had been able to obtain even a single One. But then he had been on so many quests after all. But as he admired all his new items, he heard that there was another artifact to be had. The idea made Jason sigh and hsake his head. No, he was done trying for artifacts. There were to many rabid animals, giant fire demons and flying eagles for his tastes. But then he heard that this artifact would give him wings. Wings... Even Jason couldn't ignore tantalizing bait like that, so again he saddled up his horse and rode on his latest epic quest. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 20 YOUR HP: 50

As usual the countryside was dark, hard to see, and crawling with shadowlings. Jason remembered when it was nice and sunny and beautiful and didn't want to make him scream and hide under the covers of his bed. But no, it was like this now, so he'd have to deal with it. Or try to at least. Still, he shivered, pulling his coat close around himself and lead his horse through the dark, trying to make out weather the scary shapes he could see where just shadows, or living shadows. When he couldn't be sure he sighed and walked forward up until he felt his horse bump into something. A bees nest. The bees buzzed angrily around the horse, causing him to buck. Jason held up as it jumped around trying to get rid of the bees, and eventually dislodged it's rider and ran away. Jason sighed, and then yelped as the bees found him a much easier target. Already his food supples were running low by the time he was at the forest, and without a horse to ride on it was going to be rough going for quite a while yet. Jason sighed wearily, walking along the trail and hoping he didn't wander off it and get shot at by elves. Or eaten by spiders. Or both. As he gazed through the tree tops, trying to find either spiders or elves, he fought he saw something rustling. His eyes widened as he spotted a spider in the canopy. He was not going to let it jump on him! Though he ended up letting the spider right in his path jump him first. Many birds flew away at the sound of Jason screaming. By the time he had stopped running he was smack dab in the middle of the labyrinth, and as he huffed and puffed and proceeded to sob his eyes out he failied to just how hot it was getting in there. And then he heard the thudding noises. The sounds of a enormous beast heading his way. "Oh n-no..." When the fire beast's head loomed out of a corner Jason was running again, running as fast as he could. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 2.5 YOUR HP: 50

Coming out of the labyrinth, Jason realize that he had ran out of food. This made him feel even worse as he climbing up the mountain, stomach rumbling in protect at the lack of substance. But he was so close, he didn't want to give up. With one final pull, he was over a steep hill side and there, sitting in front of him, was the artifact. A beautiful pair of wings, and he stood there gazing at them "Amazing!" He exclaimed, then yelped as the ground beneath him gave way. He jumped forward to grab the artifact just as he was covered in snow and sent down the mountain. Oh well, at least he had it. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: -2.5 YOUR HP: 40
