The sound of the ceremony was close to her, and as she looked around she realized that in her searching, she had wandered near the celebrations again. Spotting the cart from earlier, she pursed her lips in consideration. If it lured one spirit...why not another? Moving quietly, she approached the cart to find...another spirit! In fact, this one too looked very rodent like and was covered in the sickly sweet desert! The second two seemed far easier then she thought!! Maybe the last two would be here as well!

Finding no more spirits at he hoppitywobbly cart, she returned once more to the woods, although staying close to the sounds of the celebration. It seemed she was finding more there then in the forest where she was earlier led to!! Finding another tree, with a suspicious hole inside it, she decided to check regardless. After all, her luck had been getting better!

There was nothing in the hole (thankfully), but something caught her attetnion? The scent of something burning? That actually cheered her up as she was sure that meant a fire spirit was nearby!! Following the scent, she soon spied...a firey leaf? This must have been a game of hide and seek for them and after shaking her head she lightly blew upon the smoldering leaf. "Found ya. One more.."

In a far better mood, Tayla continued to search for the final spirit! One more and she would feel accomplished and as if she had done a good deed! Looking around, she saw something move beneath some brush! Maybe it was another spirit hiding as a leaf...and that thought caused her to chuckle in amusement. Moving towards the brush, she looked between some bushes before a sound of surprise and horror escaped her! Skunk!! Scrambling, she darted back just in time not to be dosed in it's odor! Phew...

Panting softly, as the idea of being forced to smell like a skunk was a horrifying idea, she looked to spot..another rabbit. It watched her curiously, perhaps being kind not to laugh at her before darting back into a small hole in the ground. "I really think I like rabbits.." She commented before searching once more for the final spirit.

It didn't take long for her to once more find another rabbit, it equally as curious as those of the past. Maybe she had inadvertently walked through a rabbit burrow? Or a small...city of rabbits? Either way, at least they weren't throwing stuff at her.

The thought from earlier must have summoned the vile squirrel of evilness as there was no warning hoot from the owl; the acorn soaring with acute precision and nailing the poor 'corm once more in the same eye. It teared up this time, and she whimpered softly in response. She was going to have a black eye because of that danged creature and a perhaps permanent hate for them as well.

She didn't move fast enough! Another acorn was launched, nailing her in her eye and soon the mare took off at a canter, trying to get away from the devilish creature!!

The mare ran for awhile, not halting till she finally came to a small pond so that she could peer at her reflection. The eye was swollen now, and undoubtedly tender to the touch. She knew that it would be discolored and her sense of pride ached in hatred for that acorn throwing rodent!! This event was suppose to be fun and yet he was torturing her!! One more spirit...one more spirit..she just had to remind herself of that. Turning her head, she spotted a rabbit and though she was usually happy to see one, she was thankful when it darted away too.

Coriole was very interested in following the fire spirits to ...wherever they might lead. When they launched themselves off the trees, he half-reared before whirling on a hoof to give chase. He might not have been the daintiest creature but he was still sure of hoof, so avoided colliding with any others caught up in the pursuit.
Avoiding smaller creatures, however? His skill was not as great on that account. He caught the flash of white and the movement of the skunk's tail an instant before it was too late for him, and skidded to a halt then backed off to one side quickly, avoiding being caught in the stinking spray.
He would take a little more care in the hunt from now on, thank you. Heaving a sigh of relief, he moved on.

When the bunny vanished she noticed something...another tree filled with small doors! Maybe this was it! Maybe this would be the last of spirit hunting! Carefully she approached the doors, remembering the last time she had opened one that she nearly got burnt.

Her heart felt heavy as she found nothing but an empty home. Deciding she was close to being done with her task, she began to explore the new area she had run into. Maybe there was another somewhere around here.

Moving through the heavier brush, she searched for any sign that perhaps she was near a spirit, but didn't seem to find much. Instead, she peered through a few bushes, kicked up a few leaves; anything that may give away the final hiding spot of the last spirit. Yet, what she found was another angry skunk and just as quickly, she backed up to avoid being skunked! Her heart was pounding...what had started as a fun event was quickly becoming dangerous!
