Sandrine had mostly felt a 'sudden' congregation of powered auras, all sorts that just overlapped like a little party. It was probably only sudden because the Senshi of Execution was awful at keeping tabs on the auras, only noticing when things left- much liek the sudden cease of white noise. So many was hard to ignore, especially so many with a few GIANT ones.
So Sandrine came, seeing people all over just arriving or already into the thick of engagement. And then something smacked into the right side of Sandrine's face and made the world wobble a little. "Thanks, Admiral Obvious, you got plenty on you, too. "
Looking at the ground revealed the object of offense. "You brought...a ...toy... to ...a battle? Alright. Sure. The bus stops here, hot stuff. "
Sandrine shifted to close distance and try to punch the lieutenant, despite the blur from a tearing right eye.

It was a moment before Kadyrelite could catch her breath in the face of what looked like a very large, chaotic mess.
Strytha likes Chaos. Kadyrelite should too.
Wrong kind of chaos, dude, she thought back wearily. She felt the youma stir and winced a little before it settled and went still. Since it wasn't admonishing or punishing her, she decided that for now it was waiting to see what she would do.
And that decision was quickly and easily made by the sight of one of the knights managing to fall face first into a hole nearby. Snorting with amusement, she hurried over and took rapid note of the general size and shape of the hole. Grinning, she slowed her approach and braced herself.
"Aww, baby," she cooed in a sweetly venomous tone. "Someone went to all the trouble of digging a nice hole for you and you're trying to get out? So rude! Don't worry though. I'll make sure you don't waste their effort."
With that, she aimed a hard kick at the knight's back and felt Strytha nearly purring with pleasure in her chest.
Quartz vs. Antares SOOOOOOOO Sorry about the delay sweatdrop
Antares had been at the hospital visiting Lily. She barely payed attention Xander come into the room and left shortly after but she felt it when her guardian powered up. Something was up and she was going to find out what. After stashing her stuff in her bag in the corner of Lily's room Antares headed out after the older knight. Unlike Shang she shadowed him as a civilian until something really seemed to spook him and he took off running. Not wanting to be left behind the senshi quickly powered up herself and took off after Shang.
She nearly lost him but the training she was getting helped her keep up if only to see him as he kept just barely in her sights. The young senshi came to a halt when she belatedly sensed the mass of auras... a battle that Shang just entered, she had lost sight of him and now he was mixed in with all the other auras. Antares was not going to let him walk into that mess without back up so she hurried towards the battle only to come to a halt once more on the edge of the fighting. It was almost as bad as a gang war she had once witnessed out in LA, the major difference was that the LA battle was over almost as soon as it began.Again she hesitated, searching for Shang... he would be pissed she was there but she wont leave him here alone.
Havasu had made it to the fight but had paused on the outskirts to take it in. It was almost awe inspiring the very mass of fighters, logically he knew the war was extensive but even he didn't expect this many people and he knew it wasn't even a fraction of the amount of fighters.
He was pulled from his thoughts by a figure careening into him and taking them both to the ground. He pushed against the figure until his belated senses picked up the aura, nearly over powered by the fight going on around them, it was a nega who was currently on top of him. Havasu shoved the nega off of him and saw it was a guy in a military uniform... right out of military academy. "Back off fly boy!" He lashed out with is foot unsure if it would land, he disliked being prone on the ground but the nega was too close for him to risk getting up.

He did only as much as he needed to, and nothing more. He knew very little of loyalty, and cared less about the Negaverse's objectives than he did about his own survival. He knew himself to be little more than a pawn in a much bigger game, but had yet to determine what he meant to do about it—if he meant to do anything at all.
He'd not yet had the opportunity to meet General Painite, but he'd heard bits and pieces about her in the months since his recruitment. When the call to arms came, Aquamarine made his way to the proper location. Naturally, the battle had already begun without him.
But then he often made a point of being fashionably late.
Aquamarine chose an opponent at random, swinging out his plastic sword to take on whomever it happened to strike.

Teleportation jilted and unsteadied, but his viscera adjusted to it enough to prevent the nausea this time around. Now in a tree, Umber fought to reclaim balance before finding himself on the ground in a much less graceful entrance. Xenotime's arm helped well enough. Instead he nearly jerked forward while his mind searched for reorientation of directional status, and when he finally sorted himself out, Xenotime was already speaking about an ache in his teeth, but his head pounded between teleportation and a cluster of too-bright auras so he hadn't caught most of the earlier phrase.
Implicit instruction seems her default, he thought as he slid from the tree in inferred command. The landing was less than perfect, but significantly improved over the initial shock of teleportation. Attack, but avoid the most powerful creature in their midst. It almost seems counterintuitive to the call we received. But how much difference can a lieutenant expect to make here. What worth am I yet but that of a warm body, really.
There stood one of their kind with back to him, brown hair done up in ponytail and fuku as brilliant white as the rest. Her attentions dashed fleetingly about the battlefield by look of her movements, which suggested Umber may have a shot at a surprise attack should the cluster of auras in the area somehow mask his own. It was worth a risk; the opposition surrounding him looked to be a slanted fight, if not already engaged by other, more experienced officers. I am still an investment without payout, and could be for some time. How do I make myself useful but to attack. Take home a starseed? They discontinued the need for that practice save for our opposition. I wonder if it's even welcomed in that sense.
Let's find out.
Umber slipped through the battlefield well enough, glad for grasses underfoot instead of unforgiving concrete, and more so that his balance recovered with the measure of rest. Whether the mark turned around shortly before his attack was an unnecessary concern - it may happen, especially when projecting an aura and not barefoot, and he would deal with it as it came.
Closing distance, Umber dropped into a slide to strike the heeled feet of his foe, hoping to take her off balance.
Perdita didn't know exactly what was going on, but she knew that there was trouble. She followed Oberon to the clearing and surveyed the situation with a vague, distant sort of interest.
Of course she wanted to know more about the war. She had a steadily growing collection of information, and battles such as these seemed to present a good opportunity to collect more. She ignored the inherent dangers involved. After all, she'd been through a large battle or two before, and she'd handled herself just fine.
Though she knew little of what started this particular battle and couldn't hope to determine the identity of each of the players involved, Perdita looked around for a target to engage in the hopes of ending this before too many of her own allies were hurt.
She spotted a Senshi dressed in black almost as soon as she'd finished waving Oberon off. Perdita searched for a weapon and picked up what felt like a sturdy tree branch, approaching what she assumed to be a corrupted Senshi (by the look and feel of her). Perdita struck out at her without saying a single word in warning.
If Palatine had been negligent when it came to the war before, that certainly wasn't the case now. No, she was not as active as some might be. She had a job and a young child to care for; she couldn't give as much of herself to the fight as others with less responsibilities in their civilian lives might be able to. But none of this amused her anymore. The Negaverse had shown their hand. Palatine thought it was high time she showed hers.
Perhaps if she'd not had such a personal connection to two of the Senshi and Knights who'd been kidnapped, imprisoned, and tortured, she would have continued on the way she had before. But that was not the case, and the seriousness of the situation had never been more apparent.
So when she received Camelot's distress signal, Palatine was on her way before the message even ended. It was not entirely for Camelot's sake that she arrived, or for those he hoped to save. Rather, Palatine had her own ulterior motives. She hoped to cross paths with those who'd staged the kidnapping over New Year's and exact her own revenge.
Unfortunately, it was difficult to see any specific faces through the crowd, and she was working off of nothing more than the descriptions provided to her by Valhalla and Ganymede. For lack of any immediate target, Palatine launched herself at a nearby youma instead.
Vulpicry was not the most out going of creatures, and was hesitant to just run out into the fray like so many of its youma companions. They were the hunters of the forest, and they were supposed to be a little bit... well... smarter.
At least, that was what Vulpicry tried to be.
Not blessed with any real intelligence, unable to process language or math, Vulpicry made up for its short comings by having a mind built for one purpose: the hunt. He was cunning and he used his abilities to aid him far more adeptly than some of his companions. He believed in taking his time, in thinking things through, and in playing with in tricking its prey.
Spotting the Knight charging toward him, Vulpicry let out a hiss, his long ears folding back against his furry head. He stood on four legs, which were long and lithe, but not particularly strong. He was not much for jumping, though he was fast on his feet. He had two long, bushy grey tails to match his grey body fur, and a scarf of fluffier, darker fur around his neck. His face was long, with a dog like muzzle, with long fangs visible without him drawing back his lips.
Hunching down, he darted toward her, but in a strange moment, seemed to shift and then vanish completely, using a camouflage ability to mask itself even out in the open. With speed and its ability to blend in, Vulpicry was able to avoid most enemies long enough to defeat them or escape, if necessary. Today, though, he was attacking, and made to tackle into Palatine, slowing once he leaped at her to reveal himself once again.
The 'youngest' and most inexperienced member of the group, Squabotto was eager to prove itself amongst the other hunters of the forest. The Youma was bouncing along on tiny, bird like legs, though it was much larger than any bird had any right to be. It had massive, brown wings and flew at incredible speeds once it got going, but it had a very small brain. Processing and thinking were definitely not strong points.
Spotting Falias and bouncing up and down in excitement, the bird type youma skittered toward him, forgetting that he could fly for a moment and instead rushing in with an awkward little hopping run to get to him.
Once he was close enough, he tried to unleash a peck attack with his rather stumpy beak, but only managed to get itself punched in the head by Falias' first attack. Squawking loudly in protest, it beat its wings wildly, swatting at Falias with weapons that were exactly as useful as they seemed: his feathers.

(First attack: 9. MERLINITE IS SORRY)
She was right.
Everything about this was pointless. Camelot bleeding on the floor, the little group of senshi, dark mirror and white moon, fleeing for their lives, and now all these brawlers brought to one place. But it was happening, and there was no escaping that very painful fact.
He had no choice. There were two many eyes. He was too afraid for himself to make a stand now. He saw what was coming, what Painite would do, and feared Chaos too much to try to make a big scene about it now.
No, he had to hide.
"I'm so sorry," he said, lowly, watching the senshi and then calling his spiked club to his hand. "I'm so sorry, I don't have a choice. I have to do this. I'm so, so sorry." His eyes were glimmering with tears he refused to let fall, then he charged forward, shutting his eyes and swinging his club at her as hard as he could.

Flamonk's first attack: 10!
The monkey-like youma wobbled from side to side, grinning at Aludra with an almost innocent, playful look to her face. She was all too happy to get into these kinds of fights, and she took them as fun, as games, as much as they were for food and defense.
Why not enjoy her lot in life, eh?
It was not like she had much else to do with her time.
Flamonk was in the middle of drawing her breath for her attack when the stick was swung at her, and it almost made her lose her wind. This little thing could hit hard! The stick slammed into Flamonk's shoulder as she made an effort to dart to the side, causing a hiss of air to escape her massive lungs. Smoke curled up from the action, escaping through the curl of her lips as she snarled at Aludra for the pain she caused.
That arm would be difficult to use now, pained and bruised if not broken or fractured, and Flamonk was not pleased. She forgot about having fun for a moment as she launched her attack, releasing a burst of flames from her mouth in a steady line, like a flame thrower.

Camelot was not expecting so many people to show up. His senses were over run with power signatures, and he was unable to keep track of who was where. That might also have had something to do with the terrible injuries he had sustained, though he was doing his best not to think about them.
It took a lot of effort, though. All he could really do was turn onto his side, and even that was a bad mistake. But he wanted to see what was happening, who was fighting. Pain tore through his back and he let out a cry of agony, his leg not doing much to help the situation.
The head of Painite's spear was still embedded in his armor and his back, and he felt light headed from the blood loss and shock. His power alone was keeping him from passing out on the spot. The bear trap was still tightly clinging to his shattered leg, and he supposed it was too much to think he would ever be allowed to heal enough to walk without his cane. Though he had been improving, this was likely going to undo the long years of healing.
Not wanting to focus on himself for too long, he struggled to look around, spotting a lot of familiar faces, good and bad, along with many new ones. So many people had come to answer the two calls that had been sent out, and it resulted in what looked like a terrible brawl. He did not, however, see any sign of Chaonis, Navi or Lesath, and he could only hope they had managed to get away.

To a normal civilian, the youma Palatine found herself up against would have been frightening, but to a seasoned warrior (she remained unsure whether or not the description truly applied to her) this youma was more or less par for the course. As soon as it caught her eye, Palatine examined it quickly in the hopes of determining the potential dangers our weaknesses, but her observations yielded few results.
That was just as well. She wasn't the type to strategize, though she liked to pretend otherwise. Charging in with a show of brute force was quickly becoming her style.
She stumbled out of her initial charge when the youma seemed to shift and vanish. Palatine whipped around in an attempt to seek it out. She had only moments—it was there and gone and there again. Palatine braced herself as the youma crashed into her. Her feet slid through the dirt beneath her but she managed to remain upright, fisting her hands into the youma's fur in an attempt to drag the beast to the ground.
Chrysotile wasn't one to deny the summons of a general. So when he heard Painite's voice on his communication crystal while out on solo patrol, he grinned. This would be his first actual battle with the enemy, and it promised to be fun.
He rushed at top speed to the woods. The auras, both Chaos and Order, grew stronger and stronger as he approached -- as did the sounds of conflict. Adrenaline pumping, he stopped at the edge of the clearing and surveyed the battlefield, looking for an appropriate target. He finally spotted a lone senshi, a nervous look on her face.as she watched from another part of the clearing. Her blue and pink hair and pristine white fuku stood out against the dark greens of the woods.
Perfect.
The tall lieutenant leapt in her direction, summoning his afghan. "Hey," he called out as he swung it over his head. He wanted her to be looking at him when he attacked.
