The ball snapped shut, letting a oh so joyous click. "Finally... Okay Gabriel we can go back now." She said looking at her dino ready to go down the large spiral ice slide.

The two coming back would check in with their catch and wait with the others in the warmth of the safari cabin.

Beck the Koffing was enjoying the fumes from a nearby vent. "Um... bud?" Allen questioned, the unusual behavior of his normally stoic poison type seeming unsettling. Regardless, he was back for another hunt. Last time he had snagged a Clefairy, little beast. Sonata was put away and out of sight gladly. For now he hoped to catch a less.... Well his team consisted of a fairy, a baby duck, a bag of gas, and a frosty fox. That in and of itself was enough for him to require a more imposing fighter. Something that could tank hits.

"It looks like a chocolate bar." Allen commented as he passed the Swinub. He knew very well that he already had a fire and an ice type. But there was a need so he took his chance here instead of wasting time. For now he had to play the odds until something decent rolled into his hands. Then spam poke balls. Spam that like no tomorrow.

If that didn't work, sobbing grossly into a pillow seemed like a fair alternative.

Awe, how cute. A little baby abominal snowman. It's little eyes glinted in the evening light. Pure innocence irradiated from it's being. If a Lucario had been there, it would have been in pure awe. A small smile appeared on its face as it waddled over to Allen. Friendship? Oh? Oh, indeed! It wanted friendship! How beautiful was this?! A wild animal seeking the companionship of an alien to it's land. Graciously seeking to become comrade's in arms. The magnificence of the event was stirring. Any onlookers would want to take pictures. This showcased the true meaning of being a Pokemon trainer. Nay, of being human. Of being one with nature. Of peace. Harmony. Love. Hop-

Beck sprayed it in the eyes with Poison Gas, the little bugger running off with an unearthly screech. "Heh. That totally won't bite us later. Right?" Allen asked of his companion before they continued on.

WARNING!

As the contestants went about their safari they would begin to notice the wild Pokemon acting odd. The Sentret were all raised straight up on their tails, frozen in place. The Fletchling and Fletchinder all took to the sky at once. And the Cubchoo began to cry. Several minutes after these events took place the ground would begin to rumble, starting out as a mild shake and accumulating into a fierce quake which would cause the Earth below to whine.

Was the relatively dormant volcano about to erupt?

(Rolling for a number between 1-3. If the result is 3 the volcano erupts and the environment changes.)

Beau began to once again traverse the wild tundra, completely oblivious to the mild earthquake washing over the area. He would watch as a panicking Snover charged into the woodland nearby, attempting to take cover from whatever was occurring. Interesting.

Beau continued to watch as a Torkoal lazily rolled down the tundra, a distinctly dopey expression on its face. Right afterwards,he would be able to spot a small Mawile hybrid chasing after the Pokemon. Wonder what was going on there?

A small chunk of shiny metal sat on the surface of the vast expanse of ice, almost pointedly standing out from the ice and snow surrounding it. Staring at the interesting landmark, Beau began to nudge the strange thing with his foot. That was the moment the interesting piece of metal decided to start gnawing on his foot. Struggling to raise his leg from the immense weight now attached to it, Beau shook the appendage until the now identifiable Aron released his shoe and allowed itself to be sent flying into the snows of the tundra. Quickly grabbing a Pokeball and opening the device, Beau watched as Pistachio landed in the cold tundra they had found themselves in. The Seedot did not enjoy this cold. Turning up to the sky while the Aron scrambled to attack its new target, the Seedot would begin to channel energy into the sky until the sun's rays began to beat down more intensely on the tundra. Evidently,Pistachio wanted a Sunny Day today. The Aron decided that today was a good day for sliced nuts, so a Metal Claw was what it greeted Pistachio with.

Rolling along the ground from the sudden impact, Pistachio quickly rolled to his feet before growling in anger at the Aron, almost daring it to hit him again. The Aron would oblige, charging forward and slamming into the Seedot with an Iron Head. The process would repeat itself, Pistachio goading the Aron into attack and the Aron responding by smashing into its opponent again. The third time this happened, the Aron would slip slightly. It appeared the intense sunlight was hard at work melting the ice and the Aron hit a wet patch. Taking advantage of the small mess up, Pistachio leaped backwards towards Beau. The Vivillon hybrid already knew what his crazy Seedot wanted, and obliged. Rearing back his leg before the Seedot began to fall, Beau intercepted him mid-jump with a kick, sending Pistachio flying straight at the Aron with even more force behind it. Mid-flight, the Seedot began to release vast amounts of metallic energy, a steely aura surrounding him as he cruised straight towards the Aron and slammed into the unbalanced Steel type.

The Aron, to his species credit, was not knocked out by the impact. The Bide attack may have sent him flying straight into the air, but he was very much conscious. But he was exposed for Beau's follow-up,a carefully thrown Safari Ball to end this escapade before another attack might knock out Pistachio. Little nut didnt look it, but he was pretty wiped out.

The airborne Aron quickly disappeared into the confines of the Safari Ball, the small device quaking and shivering in midair as the Aron attempted to fight its way out of its new confines.Smacking into the ground, the Pokeball began to shake and glow slightly. Holy cow, was that thing about to break out? Watching as the intense glow of the device and spastic shaking grew stronger, Beau was already palming a second Safari Ball. If that thing was fighting like this to escape, he wanted it. But the ball would eventually click, slowly dying down into its usual inert state. Heaving a sigh of relief, he motioned for Pistachio to sunbath in the small puddle of water the Seedot now occupied. Synthesis in intense sunlight was always useful. Grabbing the Safari Ball and walking back towards where their staging area was, Beau only had one question: was it a bad thing to add more heat to this volcano? Naw, its dormant. Nothing bad could possibly happen.

First a chocolate bar. Now an ice cream come. The look Allen gave it was mostly a confused one. "Ok. How did that come to creation?" He questioned as he snuck past it. No need to wear Beck out. Even if it was for evolution, which Allen wasn't very particular for. If it happened, it happened. He wondered momentarily how the others were doing. What had they faced he wondered. Was it all little things like this? Or did any of them come across a large one. He hoped they wouldn't take them all at the very least.

Beck puffed a little bit of smoke as he followed his trainer. The bag of gas was careful to keep two yards behind, since poisonous gas was a hazard of raising his line.

As he continued to make his way through the zone, Isaac spotted an Aron sniffing the ground for food. Smiling, Isaac dug into his pouch of bait and tossed some towards the hungry Pokemon. Surprised, the tiny steel Pokemon sniffed the morsel for a moment, before chomping into it. As it scarfed down the bait, Isaac walked up to it, knelt down, and began scratching the Aron behind the head the way his Aron liked to be scratched. It seemed that this one liked it too as it crooned in approval. "You know," Isaac said, "If I were allowed to bring my Aron in here, I'm sure he..." His sentence was cut off by the rumbling of an earthquake, scaring off the Aron. After the trembles had subsided, Isaac stood back up. "Looks like I'd better hurry," he muttered as he headed further into the zone.

As he continued through the safari, Noibat still perched on his shoulder, Isaac found his path crossed by a Diglett. "It had better not have been you that caused those tremors," he stated flatly to the mole Pokemon as he continued on his way.

"Don't look now," Isaac muttered to his Noibat, "But I think we are being followed." Sure enough, the Diglett from earlier was trailing behind the pair. For what purpose, Isaac didn't care, he wasn't going to get into what he saw as an unnecessary fight. As he neared a group of large rocks, Isaac ducked around them, attempting to lose the pursuing mole.
