Well it wasn't to far off from his own but that didn't account for any other regions she'd collected from and he got the feeling she had gotten quite a few. It brought up the question of how long she had been a trainer compared to him. It was true that unlike many other trainers he got a late start so he would for ever be playing a game of catch up. He couldn't help but ask how well he compared to her. "Tell me, how long have you been a trainer and would stance a chance of beating you in a real battle ?" He saw no reason to p***y foot around the subject so sort of out right asking how many badge's she had of which he on some small level didn't want to know yet this was the best way to judge the difference in their powers. As far as a battle goes lol bring it. I need to get my team ready which for me take FOREVER scream but yeah im game but i have a set of rules i play by for official battle. No high tear legendar's like mewtwo and such but im fine with the dogs, birds, regis, and even the ones like mew and jirachi and no two of the same pokemon or item. Shaking her head when Ohm mentioned he should of asked the question. It wasn't his fault, and it was an honest question really. Taking in another deep breath, she released Seraphim then turned to Ohm as he motioned towards the various Pokemon around them. Yea... Ko's collection was certainly going to pose a problem. Thinking about who to return, she turned towards Nocturnal, the bunny was quiet a bit larger then she was before, and Ko still had to punish her a bit more, so taking away the bunnies freedom would be good. 'Ko.' Turning to find Mila looking down at her egg, the blonde didn't need to ask what she wanted, as the egg in her arms was starting to shake and crack. "Oh, the baby is hatching!" Finally! After all the bad stuff going on something good happens!
Stepping up to Mila's front, she watched as a little pointed nose poked ut from a opening in the egg. It was vixen, which wasn't surprising.. it was sort of obvious that it was going to be a Fenniken that hatched from the egg. Not long after, the egg began to glow, and like a Pokemon does through evolution the egg vanished with the light, leaving a tiny little Fenniken snuggled in Mila's arms. A rare smile placed itself upon Mila's lips as she held up her child to look it over. It held the same colours she did, but the little foxes ear fur and the tip of it's tail sported colours like Hen's feathers. 'She looks like me. Good.' Mila stated teasingly. Having a girl moment, Ko leaned in and began scratching behind the hatchling's ears, finding it was already fast asleep in her mother's arms. "What are you going to name her, Mila?" Ko asked. It was only proper that the Fenniken's mother get to name her daughter. 'Inali.' Mila quickly replied... apparently she had been thinking about that for some time. 'That was the name of my mother.' Mila added, before she slowly transferred Inali into Ko's arms. 'Take her for now, she needs to see as much of the world as possible, I'll return to my ball for now.' Ko had to hesitate on that for a moment before she nodded, and while balancing the resting Fenniken she grabbed Mila's ball and returned her as well.
Back down to Kezia, Ohm and his Pokemon, Ko turned to face him with a grin, poising the hatchling up for him to see. "Isn't she cute?" She asked, chuckling. Quickly stepping over to Seraphim, she placed the little fox on the bird's back then climbed up herself, scooting forward a bit, building a wall for the Fenniken with her legs. From there she glanced over to Ohm and after Kezia climbed aboard she motioned towards the back of the bird once more.

I'm not really into Competitive battling, I was thinking just... raise a Pokemon to a certain level and have at it. Having already returned his pokemon with the exception of shinge whom he had just released to join them in the air he joined Ko in watching the egg hatch. It would be a rare moment for Ko to catch him with a full blown smile. as he stood remembering the time he had watched Brimja hatch from her own egg though the Fenniken was instantly much better behaved. Brimja even from the moment of birth had been a hand full constantly trying to bite his legs or tackle him. But none the less he enjoyed both the memory's and the chance to watch another pokemon born into the world. Shinge whom normally avoided being enclosed around the group had even come to watch. Ohmarow found himself like Ko always did with her Seraphim, paying some sort of unintended attention to shinge. Thus far the bird had been a tad bit distant towards its trainer, avoiding him touch and human company though he wasn't sure as to why. Perhaps it simply wasn't sure of humans yet. This time together would hopfully prove productive in their relationship. After what had felt like forever, Alex finally emerged from Ilex Forest, Eevee still perched on his shoulder. He really hated being near forests at all, not because he disliked trees, but because he was terrified of bug pokemon. Alex was fine with every other type of pokemon, but when it came to bugs, he just had always been afraid of them. Perhaps something had happened to him when he was younger, but whatever the case, he couldn't remember. Either way, he felt a whole lot better now that he could see Goldenrod City in the distance. They were out of the forest and ready to head into one of the largest cities in the world. He wasn't there as a tourist, Alex was there to win his third badge in Johto. Despite being happy to get a chance at a badge, he had started to feel a little bad about not trying to take on the gyms in Kanto. Alex had always wanted to travel through Johto, but it's not like he couldn't travel through Kanto as well. He decided it was for the best to not think of these things until after the gym battle. His attention turned toward Eevee before speaking. "Well, looks like we're just about in Goldenrod, lets win this gym battle, then we can decide where to go from there." Alex didn't need to wait for a response from her, since he knew she would reply anyways. The male trainer began to move forward, walking in the direction of Goldenrod City.
Eevee was glad that they had made it out of Ilex Forest in one piece. It turned out that trying to get Alex to face his fears really wasn't the best of ideas. Somehow, all her plans to make him face his fear had backfired. It might have been the reason it took a long time to get through the forest. Either way, that was all in the past and she was ready to move on, until they saw a bug pokemon again. Alex seemed to be missing Kanto, which wasn't too surprising. She would follow him anywhere, so it didn't matter to her. Eevee looked toward Alex as he spoke and then nodded a bit. The small normal type pokemon didn't think that she would need to battle when they got to the gym, but she was glad they'd get a chance to win a third badge. Ditto was sent the the PC. It was a good Pokemon to have around and was well known for its ability to breed with any other type of Pokemon, allowing for a large amount of rare Pokemon to be obtained through breeding. He would use that to his advantage eventually but was more focused on his current journey right now. Breeding could wait for another time.

A third Drowzee, this was the reason King hated training in areas like this. The abundance of Pokemon due to the White Flute was only serving to frustrate him more. Drowzee's were weak and useless, they served him little benefit other than to be defeated by his might Murkrow.

Finally something other than a Drowzee, something with potential, a Nidoran. The Nidoran evolutionary line fit King like a glove, their raw power and tactical presence made them a perfect with him. Not to mention their regal names. There was no way he was letting this one escape.

He had captured the female Nidoran, and she was sent off to the box. He definitely wanted to bring her with him on his journey. Although she was a tad weaker than his other Pokemon, being One hit K.O.ed by Meditite, she was going to be an important member moving forward. Making his way to the Pokemon Centre he planned on rearranging his team, and moving forward to his next step.

While at the Pokemon Centre he swapped out his "Ralts", still unaware that the ticking time bomb Bidoof was the one inhabiting the ball on his belt, for the newly captured Nidoran. Nidoran was scrappy, and she definitely threw a wrench into the mix of many common strategies used by trainers.
Either way the Poison Pin Pokemon would be a valued addition to the team, barring any freak accidents or circumstances that would render her otherwise useless.

King decided that he would visit the Pokemon Professor in Johto to receive one of the regions rare Starter Pokemon. Not sure what the Professor had to offer King was just eager to head towards New Bark. His path would take him through Violet City, as well as a city called Cherrygrove. Both were fairly small cities, with Violet containing the bellsprout tower and Cherrygrove containing not much of interest.

She sighed and pat Jay's head in what she felt was a sign of reassurance. By the way her beloved reptile only continued to show off his anxiety, she could tell it wasn't working.
You really don't trust me? She huffed openly as they continued their way. Her dragon ignored her, making Rae's current scowl deepen. This was the reason they were trying to find the Gym in the first place. Lately, as her team continued to grow in strength, her position as leader had become quite shaky.
