Hello everyone. My name is Raymond.I'm 20

I'm not too knowledgeable in the occult, but would like to learn. I like to experiment with different methods to enhance my dreams, awareness, discipline and spirituality.

I hold no specific set of beliefs, yet keep my mind open to all perceptions. I am open to discussion and love learning from everyone and everything.

Though I have not had progress or sensitivity in working with them, I own many stones such as Shiva Lingam, tektites, kyanite and more.

I look forward to getting to know, and grow with you all. Thank you for reading this smile

Hello, all! I am Kisa,a Pisces, and I am 21.

I am pagan, but follow a more eclectic path. I am into all things supernatural. I practice energy work. Since I am a witch, I also do spell work, if anyone is interested.

I love looking into urban myths and legends.I love spooky things, too. It's Halloween all the time at my house. heart

Good evening, ladies and gents. How's it going?

I prefer to go by a pseudonym, to be quite honest. On here it's Berith but I honestly do not like to give my real name away.
I am very much a skeptic and an atheist, as well as a Satanist (Satanic Temple) who is very much science-minded and all about evidence and facts. However, as far back as I can recall I've had a burgeoning interest in the occult.

As much as traditional science has discovered, there are still things for which we have no answer. I am not saying that New Age and all the magical traditions have the answer, but perhaps it is a different approach to figuring out the Universe.
My usual outlook is that we make our own path and there is really no innate purpose or reason for us being here aside from the one we give to life and to our place. I do not acquiesce or bow to any force myself and I decide to shape my own reality and live by my rule and rule alone whilst at the same time not curtailing the rights and freedoms of other individuals.

I am interested in magic, particularly Chaos Magick and borrowing from a plethora of traditions to see how it can help me become a better me, overcome my limitations and perhaps expand my horizons. Like the physicist tests their hypotheses and theories and is always questioning and open to new data, it is the duty of every inquiring mind to doubt and to be open to answers, no matter how abstract they may be.
For though there are laws such as gravity, the laws of physics, the circle of life, birth and death, there are others pertaining to human consciousness and what may be stored in it as well as its reach that are yet unknown. And I'm not talking about psychological alone---perhaps I am just curious and I want to delve into my subconscious through certain practices.

I do not believe in deities or in ghosts; Aside from the deities we create to serve our purposes, and the ghosts we carry around with us as well as our very own Paradise or Hell inside us. But I needn't worry about some of those things that I will never know about and I would rather take different approaches to life and to attaining knowledge and self-mastery.

Hoping to learn from y'all and perhaps teach something in turn.
I am another skeptic in the mix.

And what about the pursuit of power?

I am mostly interested in having power over my own mind, as that is my greatest tool and also my greatest obstacle. So I will take whatever approach, resort to any belief system and to any methods---within reason and as long as they do not harm myself and others---- to better understand myself, eliminate that which hinders me and positively affect my world and my reality to realize my goals in life and figure what those are, exactly.

Belief is just another tool for self-discovery. At least for a while. And like any tool, it is disposable.

Hello, all! I'm Insayhem, or Insy for short. I just joined last night or so! I'm very happy I finally found a place where I can converse and discuss things of the occult nature. Other places are not so nice, unfortunately.

I'm 22, I'll be 23 in February 14, which makes me an Aquarius. I'm very new to witchcraft when it comes to actually practicing hands on, I supposed I can be called a 'baby witchling' as I've seen other newbies be called. However, I've always had an interest in the occult; though, I've keeped the urge to be more hands on a secret due to a closeminded family. Thankfully, my mother has become much more open minded and has approved of my older sister and I exploring our own ways.

I don't necessarily have a specific path, since I don't know if I should label myself or wait until I have more experience under my belt. For now, I guess I can be described as an 'athiest witch'.

I mostly drabble in spellwork and sigil crafting (though the latter does not come very easily for me), though I'm very interested in divination and am trying to teach myself whatever I can in the subject. I'm open to all types of practices. Aromatherapy is also another great love of mine, and often enjoy mixing essential oils and the sort into my spellwork, not to mention for other hollistic purposes.

Outside of magick, I'm a licenced massage therapist, so the whole 'energy work' is naturally interesting to me. I'm looking into learning more spiritual based practices that I can incorpated into my work such as reiki.

I have a lot to learn and I hope we can exchange knowledge with one another, even spark a friendship. Everyone here seems so friendly, I already feel at home. c: I look forward to meeting every single one of you. Thank you for accepting me into the guild.

Hey, welcome to the guild!!

I have a question that might seem rude, but I'm legit curious... how can you be an atheist and a satanist at the same time? I mean, doesn't being an atheist sort of knock out being able to follow any other religion? Or are you not following satanism as an actual religion and more a moral set/way of life??

Not rude in the slightest.

I'm an atheistic Satanist. I follow the religion and the philosophy and sort of apply them in the best way possible. Atheism refers to a belief in a god or gods but there is nothing that says that an atheist cannot be 'religious'. I loosely follow a set of 'tenets' if you will and it is an organized institution that several people 'ascribe' to.
Although there is no literal belief in any higher beings.

That makes a little more sense. So as an atheist satanist, do you just not believe in any higher beings or powers, then?

I believe there is really no way of knowing whether such things exist. So I don't concern myself with them. As a chaos magician in training I am trying to make myself believe in them when I need to--- and perhaps to me that is all such things are--tools for achieving whatever ends I want that are beneficial to me. Whether they are real or not, that does not concern me.

gaia_diamond Merry meet! I'm Sarah but my circle and friends call me Harley or Kaida. I'm 22 living in Bible thumping central of KY -boom headshot-. I've been practicing the Wiccan religion since I was 16 and found that my ancestors on my moms side were tribal healers. Not only do I practice Wicca freely; which reminds me that I need to make my spell a little stronger, but I also help those in the paranormal/supernatural aspects of their lives as a medium. I can fully project in the sense that I actually am a cause for concern because I "leave" for too long and makes me comatose for days cat_sweatdrop . Outside of this I'm your "normal" girl who likes to sing, dance, read, write, play with fire, and dance with swords. cat_rolleyes Currently jobless and hoping to find one soon at a shop down the road from me that is full of crystals and an awesome tarot collection that puts mine to shame. For me it's time to sleep and hopefully not deal with that evil little clown that likes to rip my pants then eat them. Blessed be! gaia_diamond
